Stop saying that every abusive trash is ( you were actually talking about her 👍) " probably abused in the past "
What about " most abusers are drunks and / or drugs addicts .
The truth is that more abused children grow up to be great parents 👍♥️ than not .
The problem is when a few generations are ( usually) uneducated, poor , addicts and usually live in more remote areas and the children don't have any other role models. But most of all , there is not one sure model for who becomes who .
In my family NOBODY did drugs ever !! , Christian family , educated , economically fine , but my daughter ( who is highly intelligent, honor student became alcoholic and drug user . Thankfully she is now sober ( doesn't even smoke cigarettes) , but she gave us several years of "hell on earth" .She started it last year of the her highschool, go figure 🤔
Also ; poor ; doesn't' mean bad people , stupid people and immediately addicts . In fact I know plenty of AMAZING poor people.

Yeah man like there are reasons and then there are excuses... I believe perhaps her trauma could be the reason she behaves this way but it sure as hell isn't an excuse. Not saying everyone with trauma behaves this way it's just that this could be one of the many reasons she behaves this way. Another extremely probable reason is actually her bipolar disorder... This seems extremely manic (amongst other things) honestly. Again... Not an excuse. Mental illness is not your fault but it IS your responsibility.

I BEGGED her to pull over and to let me go teetee and she finally did. I called my grandad (her dad) but he didn't answer. He always paid for and fixed all her problems. I had to call my dad (who she had divorced) and ask him to come. My whole life, he was my hero. Anyway, the gas station attendant, (and later found out also my step-mom) called the cops. They came, and took me to the station until my dad got there. My mom made a lot of mistakes, but I really hope she's in Heaven waiting on me anyways. In the same form as she was at 30

I live with my mom now, I moved out on my own accord, my dad asked me “what did I do wrong?” And there’s no way in hell I could explain “everything, including not telling me how you treated my own mother behind my back” so I just didn’t give him an answer. Went through therapy and I’m all good now, I still wish I had thanked those police officers that helped me.

UPDATE: About Josephine Alton of Crestwood, IL
she was indeed charged for child abuse and was found guilty because of this video going viral.
Her girls are in the care of their grandparents so we can sleep at night knowing that those girls
are safe loved and cared for away from their mother... still this is so very sad and I really hope she gets help.
dude her parents sound so sweet... I really feel bad for this girl. like i hope she gets help. This video was just sad. those kids need to not be with her until she get better. I feel bad for her parents, it seems like they really do love and care for her. Her mother's voice said she knew if they ddnt go out there, shit would go south and thats so damn sad having to constantly make excuses and apologize for someone you love. BUt still, the pains of your past is nobodys fault that have nothing to do with you. Dont be mad at people just because you're in pain... I hope she saw this video, i hope she saw what she did and i hope she saw the pain she put her girls and parents through. but this is very very sad, she scared those little babies fucking god this hurt to watch
props to these officers, they really tried to help her and tried to reason but when someone has demons as bad as hers, she's the only person who can help herself

It makes me so angry that there are so many children who are treated like this every day. I see it everywhere we go. The park, the store, restaurants. Im not saying its normal for things like these to happen, but im sure her daughters will grow up to never treat their children like that due to this event, it's traumatic yes, but this kind of trauma builds hate that makes them hate their bad mother and learn not to be like her, in a sense experiencing hardship is necessary, cause without it you get spoiled brats who don't value anything or anyone.

She did that on purpose. She literally used her daughter as a shield so the police wouldn’t touch her. That was disgusting. I would have a hard time treating her with the kindness the police did after that. That was a hard position to be in for them because they had to safely remove her without hurting the kids. She should’ve been charged with child endangerment. I know yelling at your child isn’t against the law and they couldn’t really do anything more than they did about it. But damn I would take those kids in a heartbeat . This is what makes me want to foster kids. I just haven’t because I would have a really hard time raising a child and then having them get taken away and put back with their parents. And as a foster parent that is what you sign up to do. You are designed to only have them until they go back with their parents. I also worry how hard it would be on my child. Cuz he wants a brother or sister so bad and then to have them taken away. But damn this makes me want to look into it again
