If you don't want to go to jail, don't break the law. It's really just that simple, and if you can commit to a life of respect for society and law, actually, you'll seldom have the slightest trouble anywhere or in anything you do. It's quite ridiculous having to even say this.
You can still have issues with other people. But even those are mostly avoidable by living the life you describe. I am proud to be a decent member of society. I almost took the other path, and this one is infinitely better.
@justforever96 We are still free. We have tremendous latitude, compared to many peoples. I'm not describing a life of cowardice or hiding. It was a reasonable inference from the questions he was asking. Can't prove anything with that. I do feel like these guys didn't actually steal it, they got in in trade for drugs from Jessica and they almost definitely knew it was stolen. Or had his reason to think it was.
I was in a KIA that rolled five times. End over end, side over side. It was a total loss. A semi truck hub flew off and went thru my windshield. I was airborne. Nothing on the car could be salvaged. I walked away without a scratch. KIA’s are safe cars, IMO. Mine wasn’t stolen though. 😊

My last encounter with the police, granted it was 6-8 years ago, was anything but anxiety-filled. I'd gotten so drunk after a concert with friends that I had said goodbye to, I'd passed out and was sleeping on the sidewalk. The police woke me up. Trying to get up and being helped up, I accidentally grabbed his radio and kevlar vest, lol. Anyway, I apologized profusely and said I wasn't trying to reach for anything(gun) I was just out of balance. He was cool and said, "I know, don't sweat it". They asked me a few control questions(where have you been tonight, where do you live etc.) and I answered politely and gave them full ID. His partner then asked if I wanted them to call a cab, I said I'd just walk home". He was having none of that in my state, and upped the offer to drive me home in the patrol car since it was only a few kilometers away. I thanked him again, and said I'd manage, and they looked all sad, but let me go on my way after I'd thanked them for caring.
Let's take a moment to appreciate the fact that a Kia Soul can even GET to 100 MPH. It's a damned short wheelbase mini-CUV, my brother has one and it's barely longer than my FIesta ST (which can hit 100 MPH in 4th gear), but nearly 50% higher
I have to admit to a good belly laugh when they got her out the car to search her and she asks him to be careful because her foot is "messed up" "It has a gash" and he pulls her sock off with her moaning like she has almost amputated it and there's a teeny tiny little scratch and scab.

I absolutely cannot stand the excuse of "I get anxiety around cops". No, you don't. You're not afraid of cops. You're afraid of accountability. You're afraid of an honest day of hard work. You're afraid of submitting a job application.
The best part is her buddy saying "For?" at the end. Dude, you know what she's going to jail for.
can someone tell people that running from the cops when youre scared is literally the worst thing to do
If you dont break the law you dont need to be scared. At least in "old America". Cops still work like old America in most parts of the nation thank God.
may as well play chess with a pigeon.
@@redwatch1100 No they don't. You must only watch these badge licking videos...there are thousands of bad cop videos here. Just think of Uvalde and acorn cop
@@jlambe19Meanwhile in reality……. If your non binary, pro Palestine, anti American spouse was getting robbed, you would tell it to call 911. Then complain they didn’t do their job right. Maybe you should become a cop and teach them how to be better. Put up or shut up. Plain and simple.
Running from the cops in ANY situation is the worst thing you can do. It’s going to make the situation WAY worse.
That girl has some bad role models around her. I think she is being used by her "uncle" and "friends". She has to find better friends before her whole life is destroyed.
the much older "friend" of her father is creepy AF.
She ain’t being used; she loves drama.
If her dad was still alive he’d probably kick the crap out of him, ain’t his friend, just a creep.
Yeah I feel like there’s a lot more under the surface of this than we’re seeing
Agreed !
If you don't want to go to jail, don't break the law.
It's really just that simple, and if you can commit to a life of respect for society and law, actually, you'll seldom have the slightest trouble anywhere or in anything you do.
It's quite ridiculous having to even say this.
Yeah it's almost like don't be a piece of shit and life ain't so bad...
Yeah, I've heard nothing good about jail. I'm going to continue to avoid it 😂
You can still have issues with other people. But even those are mostly avoidable by living the life you describe. I am proud to be a decent member of society. I almost took the other path, and this one is infinitely better.
@justforever96 We are still free. We have tremendous latitude, compared to many peoples. I'm not describing a life of cowardice or hiding. I'm saying that everyone knows exactly what to do to stay out of trouble. Everyone. This is probably the greatest attraction of our viewing these true crime videos: the fascination with the colossal stupidity of the perpetrators.
Because half the time they actually seem to be asking to get in trouble.
Life is very plain and simple if you live in an orderly respectful and peaceable manner.
I like it. I never need worry about the police. Or anyone, for that matter.
Right? I’m 63 and I have NEVER been arrested. It is actually quite easy to not get arrested. I prefer to follow rules and laws. If that makes me a nerd, so be it.
I hope she gets her life together. She is so young and pretty. I feel like she was being used.
The amount of effort that goes into these stories they weave, it's almost impressive.
I didn't think a KIA could go 100 mph !
Ikr!?!? 😂
My mom had a Kia Sorento and it would go 100
I saw a Prius going 120 on one of these Police Videos, lasted like 30 minutes, i had no idea they would
go that fast
Check out the high speed chases in LA. It's almost always a Kia. It's pretty funny. Reminds me of a Benny Hill chase.

I swear this will be the 100th time I've posted this comment on bodycam videos - why don't they ever have shoes on?!
I have been searching for many years for an answer to the reason random shoes are ALWAYS on the road. Maybe this is the missing link. 😂

Wish she’d just say how this dude hits her… girl, take this as a lesson learned and run far away from this guy. Stop protecting him…
Statistically, there must be such a strong correlation between “I was scared” and being guilty of something that it might as well constitute an admission of wrongdoing.
love how the guy told on himself by telling them the cars not stolen 🤣🤣 no one ever brought that up man
It was a reasonable inference from the questions he was asking. Can't prove anything with that. I do feel like these guys didn't actually steal it, they got in in trade for drugs from Jessica and they almost definitely knew it was stolen. Or had his reason to think it was.
And he's the guy that walked away because he hid nothing, asserted he had no knowledge that it was stolen, and was crafty enough to get her to drive.
But they let the REAL criminal go. The one that beat her up and told her to speed to get away from the police because HE STOLE THAT CAR.

The overreaction to the scratch on her foot has me in tears 😭 omg this is golden

I have to do it all the time. I'm not obvious about it. I just think 'That's the hand I write with so it's my left. Then that's my right.' I had a hard time in the Army, learning to salute with my right hand...
I can understand him, it's similar for me.
For me, it works perfectly fine if someone tells me "It's on the right" for example, but i am really having trouble to tell others and somehow always fail to "choose" the correct word if i am not looking at my hands or thinking about it for a few seconds in order to "check" my answer. So no, cops don't scare me, i'm in fact relieved when they show up.
Sounds to me like she was set up, prolly by her uncle and "friend" Jessica and the passenger dude. Passenger dude admits he has a record for stealing cars. She's beat up. Sounds like she was coerced into driving a stolen car and coerced into fleeing from police. She was trying to say it when she said she didn't think the car was legal. Then lied about who beat her because the gang has shit on her. Seems plainly obvious and yet these cops missed it.
Then why didn't she just say it then!

@@Autoxjunkie66 who is Braxton Hicks the only Braxton I remember was some clown on The Jamie Foxx show
Braxton-Hicks contractions are false labor contractions that feel like true early labor but can begin somewhere around 8 mos pregnant if I remember correctly. It's not comfortable and is concerning because of course full term is best for long term health. Sometimes it can signal the mom is tired or dehydrated. Every pregnancy is different so it's best to call the doctor if you're concerned.
I think the same thing to people who name their child “precious” or “queen” or “princess” or any other bullshit title that isn’t an actual name

Sick of this current generation. No purpose and scream anxiety when it gets tough. It’s time they bring in compulsory military service for two years. That would sort out their anxiety bs. We are doomed.
I went into the military at 18 & it taught me a lot about life & responsibility even though it was a nightmare of seggsual harassment, misogyny & dumb people who somehow managed to "fail up". Definitely agree something needs to be done & 2 yrs of mandatory public/community service is a good plan. Also, agree we are doomed.

I kind of felt sorry for her.

Okay kids, this should serve as an object lesson in choosing friends and with whom you will travel or associate.
Do yourselves, your family, and society a favor. Get your act together, get a job while pursuing an adult education that will result in a professional certification or degree that is in demand. It's going to be difficult, and it won't happen overnight. But in the long run, we'll all be better for it.
