- Is the Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello a gimmick or genius? I'll try give you my take on the BRAND NEW motorcycle from Moto Guzzi - which is their first liquid cooled motorcycle!

Last year (2021), I started bird-dawgin this Italian beauty.
In September 2022, I gave Plano, Texas USA Moto Guzzi a $500 deposit.
Early in the morning of 10/17/2022, on the Moto Guzzi USA web store, I entered my online “reservation” for the 2023 V100 Mandello “S” in “Centenario” Livery (premium Verde 2121 color) - Special Edition $17,490.
The customer care representative told me my Order# 190 was the 1st V100 Mandello order received by Moto Guzzi USA.

To me, the V100 Mandello is STUNNINGLY EXOTIC & HANDSOME!

Yes. I want it now. I also want to keep my 2019 FTR 1200. Use both as they are intended. Longer trips in comfort, Guzzi. Short rowdy blasts, FTR. All is well. (I also want a streetfighter V4S.) Motorcyclists are never satisfied.

Definitely want 400% more espresso in my bikes DNA… have put $$$ down but don’t think we’ll see them in Oz till 2nd half next year.
Great review. Is the windscreen in this review the sport windshield? Is it truly better for more protection than the standard sport windshield? Thanks.

Do I detect a Danish accent? Merry Jul then! Kudos to you for riding in those conditions (by the way the same I have right now where I live so I know how it feels to ride on those roads). I guess it's a demonstrator bike, the dealer must be very confident to let you ride out with snow and salt on the roads. I cover my ride, come winter, with a protective spray but whatever you do, there are still spots (mostly the bolts) that get a white shade from the salt but then again for me it's more important to ride than to have a pristine bike. I really like your enthusiasm and the work you put into the presentation, takes, cut, editing. I'm very much interested in the V100 and will definitely test drive one. For the time being I'm a very happy owner of a Ninja 1000sx, such a versatile bike. It will take a lot to convince me to swap it for another bike. Cheers

These winglets are definitely not the reason for buying this bike, but as you noticed they do fend away some cold in winter. One year and 7000 km with mine, no problem and no regrets!
Yeah, i think that these deflactors only really shine on cold or even a rainy weather.
Anyway, it's a lovely bike and im genuinely thinking retiring my tracer 900 for the v100 Sport :D
I am considering 2023 Tracer 9 GT+ or V100 Modello. What makes you want to switch? What did you dislike about the Trace 900?
@@ApriliaRacer14 I have the tracer since 2016, im a little bit tired of that bike :D, also now i would love to have a diferent motorcycle type (enougth of these sport trails motorcycle, i see them everywhere).
Buy hey, the tracer it's a awesome bike and i had lof of fun with it, too sad that yamaha completely destroyed the look after the 2021 model, but i think they can't please everyone :D

Power to weight ratio is such a silly way measure the value of a street motorcycle. If you're trying to win trophies, it makes perfect sense. The only trophy you'll get for going 150 mph on the street is a warrant for your arrest.
Original engine was made for pumping water, finally water-cooled, the irony?
I dunno, would I trade my Royal Enfield interceptor 650? It is drop-dead gorgeous but so was Marilyn Monroe. How long is the warranty? does it come with roadside assistance? can I perform the maintenance myself? How about insurance? Hmmm.
It is gorgeous, I've had my red V100 3 weeks now and love it. Warranty is 2 years and includes roadside assistance. It's pretty good for servicing, air cleaner, plugs and valves are straightforward - *so* much easier than my VFRs!
Insurance is reasonable, only 20% more than my V85TT
