Hello. After many failures at tea biscuits I had given up - a sort of tea biscuit PTSD. Watched your video several times. Followed the recipe as listed and consciously fought the urge to kneed. That was an internal battle. The biscuits turned out wonderfully. The taste and texture extraordinary. They are nothing short of miraculous with a hot cup of tea, covered in butter and molasses. A buccal extravaganza. Love your videos and restuarant.
Omg......Your making scones! Love the tips re not using a glass. I use yoghurt in the absence of buttermilk. I’m gonna follow your method and up my game.
Love watching your videos. I made your granola,it's now a staple in my home. It's nice to see a PPHS school friend doing what she loves to do. Looking forward to more videos.
Renee, you totally ROCK! This is Kim (aka, the crab guys’ {Osborne} wife) . . . Biscuits really intimidate me, but, I will try to make them. . . . As for a recipe suggestion. . . . The wild mushroom Farrotto was one of the best things I ever ate in my entire life. . . .if you could do a video on that recipe it would be great :)
Looks amazing! I've also made a biscuit recipe that used all cream instead of the buttermilk, incase we really needed to jam that extra fat into those few bites 🤣
PLEASE , PLEASE do the recipe for Mushroom Toast. I had it last year at your place and I can't stop thinking about it but sadly have not been able to get back there. Thank you.
Help! I just tried making these (was making for another family to top it off) and they ended up looking like perfectly beautiful peanut butter cookies! Flat as a pancake! Can you perhaps help me troubleshoot for next time? I ended up making my regular recipe which is not really "buttery" but rise very well.
they look great!
…these look absolutely perfect…must try!
Great video, I’m going to try them tomorrow. Thanks so much
Will be baking these for sure. With the chowder. Love the Canteen had lunch there just before our current lockdown,

@@TheCanteenCooks just made these. Definitely not as good looking as yours since I didn’t have a cutter so used mason jar lid. They are a little big!
Yum. I had one of these with my chowder at the resto last week.
Maybe later u can do your kitchen tour....
Thanks for the suggestion! Our kitchen is not very big but we could totally do a tour on an upcoming episode!

You can do it! They really aren't that hard. We'll make sure to include mushroom farrotto at some point soon. :)
What if you don't have whole milk but partly skimmed milk? Will that work combining the vinegar?
