What an excellent find. It's great that you located it. When I see old tools like that, I try to imagine who might have owned it, what their life may have been like and what would they think of the current world where their tool is still being admired. Many thanks for sharing with us. 😀👍
Hey nice find. My Dad gave me a few 9/32 drive tools when I was a child. He said he had them issued to him in WWII when he was in the Army Air Corps. Love those vintage war era tools. Great video!
Thanks for watching @choppermike3329 I agree, really anything WWII era just has a totally different cool factor. I'm thinking when our generation is gone, the ones behind us just don't have the same feeling. They are so different......
I am so jealous. I only have the 1936 basic set No. 55, also in 9/32", without the ratchet and wooden handle driver. In later catalogs, the fuller set is No. 58.
@@westhighlandsshop Very cool. I believe the reason Schwinn bicycles and Coleman lanterns are collectable is that they show dates. When a person can pick something up and count out the years, I think that sparks the imagination.
I am so jealous. My 9/32" drive set is only a 1936 set, and is the basic set without the wood handle driver or ratchet. These sets are shown in the Snap On catalogs of that era.

I do the same thing! For this one to be 90 years I think it spent most of its life in a drawer, couldn’t believe how complete it was and the condition
That is an amazing Gem you found! Thanks for showing it!
I thought everyone would enjoy it. Thanks
That's a great find David! Just the wood handle driver is worth crazy money!
Thanks Magdad! I imagine being a Snap-on collector gets expensive!
That set is in great shape! 😃👍
Thanks for watching John.
Great Find! You can sell that and get you a new festool and have some change left to buy dinner.. fantastic find! Pretty darn cool!
Thanks Vic, yeah not getting anymore Festool for a while! Dinner for sure! Thanks for watching.
Wow! That must be super rare! I have a Bonney 9/32 ratchet but none of the sockets. Awesome lucky score!
Thanks brother, and for sure a very LUCKY score.

Very cool find. I have a Blackhawk that is in between 3/8 and 1/2 have not researched it yet. But cool having the odd sizes.
Thanks for watching. The I more I get into collecting the more I want to focus on the older and the odder for sure.
Cool old set there, great find
Thanks 👍
Very cool find David
Thanks Ryan!
It’s a cool set thanks for sharing it
Glad I was able to share this with everyone. Thanks for watching.
Amazing that’s almost 100 years old
Almost as old as you 🤣🤣🤣. Thanks for watching my friend.
Those date codes confuse the chrome out of me. I always think I've got it right...but then? Great video
I had to study them for sure! But how cool is it they put date codes on all the way back to the beginning!
@@westhighlandsshop Very cool.

Interesting. Where do you keep these collector's pieces. Cool stuff
Well I have a room that I’m working on as well as a shop “re-do”. One of these I’ll do a tour, just have more to do first
