    Great review, we'll happily point some people to this video when they ask the difference 2131-20 ($199) and 2136-20 ($399) at nearly double the price it's a tough call but hopefully this will guide them to which makes more sense for them. Thank you!

      I agree. Inverse square law dictates that if you have the space to put the older model a meter or two closer to your work, it’ll be just as bright.
      6000 lumen at 5m will project 240 lumen onto your work. The 2500 lumen light at 3.22m will lay down the same 240 lumen. Just be mindful of the distance and a lot of times you can get away with running it on a lower mode and conserve your battery. Maybe even prolong the life of your light.

      2136 has a built in charger and over double the Lumens so of course it's gonna be double the price.

    Which would you recommend for outdoor sprinting (40-60 yards)? Could set up at one end or in middle w/ multidirectional lighting I suppose. Just curious how much I need.

    I just picked up my first rocket light this morning. I got the 2500 lumen one with the Home Depot promo going on. Noticed they had this new one in stock and almost pulled the trigger on it. Glad I did not see this video before that or I would have $320 less right now. Hopefully by next year this one has some decent promos. I would also like to see some battery life numbers. They didn’t seem to list any when I look into it. I mainly would use it with battery power, so that would be a great test to see ran.

      You will still love that 2500 lumen model. It's excellent. I am going to test runtime on this new model.

    Nice review 👌 $399-450 bare tool is steep AF though. Don't think bare tool comes with the bag either and incorporated slow charger is disappointing 😒
    Can you adjust the height multiple heights besides only 4 ft and 7ft?

    The one thing I don't like about the newer rocket light is that you can't point the heads down for down lighting.

    • @TheJttv
      @TheJttv 3 года назад +1

      I noticed the same, but it looks like it points down enough, tho it might blind you more

    • @ZunarZulfiqar
      @ZunarZulfiqar 3 года назад

      @@TheJttv True, but I almost always point the heads of my rocket light straight down. I just find that it gives me the best light like that. I have a few of them that I can just dot around to fill in dark spots. Right now. The older version is on sale at Home Depot for only $239 instead of $399. So, that's a pretty good deal.

    • @TheJttv
      @TheJttv 3 года назад +2

      @@ZunarZulfiqar yah i used the old one to light a outdoor stage and after event a few weeks ago. It was pretty useful to be able to point down for the second part so i was not blinding everyone . Tho i dont think it is a deal breaker. Having both would be nice. Love the new handle. Old version carries so tail heavy as they forgot to fix the CG when the added the charger.

    I just bought me this light. It should have a super charger for the 18 volts and a fast charger for the cell phones for the price. I also would have liked to see a bright white instead of the off white it has. Also the clamps that hold the post up are not adjustable to tighten so the lights does not slide down. There may be a possibility that with rain or cold weather the clamps won't hold the post tightly like you can with a bycle seat since its the same concept. This is my first tripod light and don't have nothing else to compare it too so for now I think this is an ok light. I bought a 12.0 battery for 219.00 for this light and it took forever to charge. They only had the light only no bag or battery. I paid 449.00. Im using it in the living room for now. 😄

      For a lot of jobs these are being used for, the true color light is a lot better for visablity than a white / blue light.

    One 50 foot extension cord one 300watt bulb and light socket holder $35 bucks tops and it will give out just about the same amount of light. Yea I know it want be cordless but it's a heck of a lot cheaper.

    • @marcowens7234
      @marcowens7234 2 года назад +2

      Keep hitting the crack pipe bud. A 300watt bulb won't touch any one of these lights especially a 6000 Lumen light.
