My tile is running out of life (battery), so your video is surely a timely help in what to do for replacement. Just wondering if you have tested their range to see how well they work in real life. I tested my tile when I travelled recently, but by the time my phone notified me “your luggage has been found” I had already picked up my luggage and already at the car rental counter. Just wondering if I replace it with a tile pro or....the first one with a 100 ft range would fair better.....
For these Bluetooth trackers, does each respective app always have to be open in the background? And does it always have to be connected to my Bluetooth? I'm asking since I use my airpods very often so it'd be a deal breaker if it takes away my ability to have my airpods connected and a tracker on my wallet at the same time
No, the app doesn't always need to be open but you will need the Bluetooth on on your phone...you should be able to use your Airpods and your tracker at the same time. More info on the best Bluetooth trackers here: bit.ly/2HQrqp8
You don't need Wifi, just Bluetooth, and if you want to use the app, you'll obviously need Internet connection which can happen over data or Wifi. More info here: bit.ly/2HQrqp8
...aha....this is so....clever, no? Attach ze tracker to your phone...and if you lose the phone, all you need is....ummm...another phone for the tracker to contact...to find...ze first phone, no? Of course, it all makes so much sense now. *stare*
