Thanks for the love! You can try a little bit of nail polish remover, but again I would test it out on a very small area first. I'm also not sure if the nail polish remover will damage the canvas so please use to your own discretion. Let me know how it goes.

Not sure if this would be harmful on the lining/canvas, but in the future, dish soap (dawn, Palmolive) is the best way to get rid of spilled foundation because it's both water soluble and oil soluble!

For smell I always use an old cotton t shirt to soak up the smell. I put the t shirt in the bag and close it with a bag. I then take it out after a few days, wash the t-shirt w/ scent booster and wait for the t shirt to dry before put it inside the bag again. I repeat until the smell goes away. As for the cleaner, yes I always wipe it off with a mosit water towel.

I had an preloved item that had an unpleasant scent too. I stuffed it with cotton shirts and replaced them every day or so and slowly the cotton shirts absorbed the smell out of the bag. You can give it a try and see if it works.

Seems like there is no lining in this bag, so you’re actually dealing with cleaning the backing on the monogram fabric, is that right?. I just purchased a small bag with a gross lining, so now I know I can remove it and still have a usable bag.

I don't remember where I learned this trick prob here on YT but it really works. If you ever have foundation spills on a fabric surface (in a bag lining, on your clothes, on upholstery, etc.) use gel shaving cream--yea I know weird--in a similar fashion to the dry foam you used except after you spray it, let it sit and do its work for 3-5 min then rub it in the fabric really well and add more shaving cream and continue rubbing to draw up the foundation. Next blot it up with a warm clean slightly-more-wet-than-damp rag (or even better, rinse if it's an item you can do so with) and repeat as needed. I don't know what it is about the shaving cream but I've even used it on my white duvet cover with excellent results. I used a $1 store brand, too. The straight foam kind works too but I found the gel to foam works better. (Also hairspray works in the same way for lipstick stains!). Great video btw!
