Ah yes, thanks for sharing 💜 I tried that so many times but for some reason it never worked out fine for me. Especially if it is close to leather. Always ended up with dry cracked leather because the polish was seeping through the lining (and transferring to the leather) + it takes me more time and the smell is too much. Unless it was just a side pocket in a bag - then it was ok. Can you share on what pieces/bags you've used the nail polish remover? Would love to know x
I really enjoyed watching this. I think I would like to pick up one of these pouches and try refurbishing it. I see there are quite a few of them one Ebay. Is it difficult to pick a good one that doesn't need a lot of work? Most seem to be listed at Level C in terms of condition.
Hi Janice, I've added some links in the description box of pouches I would pick up. Those ones look in very good condition (except for the interior of course). Similar condition to the one I have in the video. Most important things to look at is if the leather tab is still in good condition. Especially if you want to add a chain/strap to the D-ring. Also the canvas needs to be in good condition as well. Most of these pouches have this interior issue. Every now and then you see one that is still intact but sometimes it is just a matter of time (for it to get sticky). Let me know if you need any help selecting a pouch.
