It's yet another flowering season for lotus. I found some lotus flowers, leaves, rhizomes, and roots, and made several congenial summer dishes. The rest of the lotus roots were used to make a dessert dedicated to my grandma - lotus powder with sweet osmanthus flowers and nuts. That, coupled with a sip of lotus tea, will make you so happy that you'll sigh about the transience of summer.

The leaf, flower, and the bud within the seed can also be used as medicine in addition to what she did here. The seed is great for making soup for lowering the "fire" in you and promotes good sleep. Boxy Photography Sadly her parents died a long time ago leaving her and I think her brother behind. She was raised by her grandparents and then her grandfather died when she was in the fifth grade. She then later got a job as a DJ to earn more money and all this is what she build herself.
I also want life like her. No noise, no pollution, just nature, beautiful scenery of mountain, a small house, cute pets, and want to do agricultural instead of in future doing9 to 5 jobs.

Our culture is inclusive, open and peaceful. That is why we are one country with 56 groups. The other two similar countries I see in this world are Thailand and India. When your people can treat everyone well whatever their religion, race and culture are, then your country have had one excellent culture.
Religious belief is good, but with the time going religious belief will get less and less important. THIS IS THE TREND. The real value can make people get better, not the form of religion. If one religion lost its value or its value can not adapt to this world, then it can not make people get better. I get on well with many muslim friends who are from China and many other countries. They are good people, but their thinking is kind of ..... During world war 2 I believe the japanese and german are also good people, but they killed lots of people. Why?

Lotus root is a traditional Chinese food. It can be cooked and eaten directly, Fried like video, or ground into a powder and soaked in hot water to make oatmeal. It tastes like potatoes mixed with nuts. It's delicious

I've recently been doing more Chinese cooking, my "first" recipe was pork rib and lotus root soup. I've just fallen in love with lotus root and lotus plants in general (when I'm REALLY dreaming, I think about making a lotus pond, but I'm not a good gardener). Everything you made looks so wonderful. If you're willing to share the recipes, or point it out of I missed it, I'd be so happy. 😊 Regardless, this was a beautiful video. Thanks for sharing.
