I was on that show playing my accordion when I was in the 8th grade and played accordion boogie😂 I could not believe how large the camera was. HUGE. Scared me, actually as they moved in for a close up. Geez, I wonder if that tape still exists somewhere.

Ah, The Gene Carroll Show, Sundays at High Noon on WEWS-TV. What memories. Was the original opening song entitled, I Know What You Know? It was a song that was written in 1926. Also, Andrea Carroll brings back some memories, as well. Remember, Please, Don't Talk to the Lifeguard? It was probably her biggest hit recording. Anyway, thanks for posting this video.

Those were the days - no worries about swearing or anything you didn't want your kids to see or hear. I miss that.

The end of the show was cut off. I always thought the best part of the show was the Goodbye ending song done by everyone on the show that day. Think the song was Sunday, Monday and always. Can that be uploaded please?

'Sunday, Monday, or Always' was the Bing Crosby ballad that the Gene Carroll show would end with. It was sung upbeat and gospel style on the Gene Carroll show. I have yet to find a copy of it.

Cleveland used to be a booming, major US city. But it wanted to stay a factory town and rejected everything high tech. As a result, it collapsed in the late twentieth century and hasn't been back on it's feet since. Sad.

Hi Gene Carroll fans. I hope you can help me. I’m looking for footage of my father-in-law who played piano in the early 70’s on the GC Show. Can someone direct me to a link that might have this? His name is Steve Zeffer. Many thanks.

Let's not forget about the underlying of our society...filled with subliminal messages in advertising and mind control where ever you go.This has not changed the only difference is so much video you get to see what you missed the first time around.

Enjoyed this so very much Thankyou verytruly! Hi Andrea! Wishing you well wasn’t able to mentionI the re- union because Carole Berg was out of State somewhere 🎵 singing or whatever She still is still alive. She kept up friend with Jim Musara and Bill Mishler who also was on the second half of the Gene Carroll Show. We absolutely loved Gene and his wife Helen. I wonder how Carol Grysban is, who had a record out in 64? It is called Words of Love65? Sometime around then. So good to see you and Dr Andrea Hill again. Blessings to All.

47 seconds into this video, the man speaking claims that this 25 anniversary show marks the longest running show on TV ever. Very false! Very false! The NBC TV news show “Meet The Press” began in 1947 and is still going!! The TV entertainment show “Sabado Gigante” began in 1962 and ran for 53 years until 2015!! This show has long been viewed in the US, Mexico, and many other countries. It ran much longer and had a larger audience. After that there are several other long running entertainment shows such as NBC’s Saturday Night Live which began on 11 Oct., 1975. It is still running!! Let’s keep the facts straight and not make up so-called “facts” like Donald Trump always did. The first lie after Trump took office for the first time in his life is that his presidential inauguration had the largest turn out ever of any presidential inauguration ever. Honestly, photographic evidence of presidential inaugurations extending all the way back well before the Civil War showed that the crowd size of Donald Trump’s inauguration was average. Let’s be proud to tell the truth rather than to be caught lying.

Gee, Trump should charge you rent for all the space he’s still taking up in your head all these years later. Christ almighty man, your novella in a YT comment section about a claim made in 1973 shows that you’re probably a rational, pleasant guy to be around. You must be fun at parties, eh?
