"I don't like sand, it's coarse and rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere" -Anakin Skywalker How the hell could Dialga and Palkia hate sand this much?
You diminish Dialga's will to fight by breaking all of its Hourglasses and throwing the Sands of Time in its Face. You break Palkia's will down by throwing Meteoric Glass Powder into its Eyes, blinding it - since it no longer has Arms, it can't get the sharp substance out, and wears itself out!

11:17 I have been waiting for this moment for so long! Gyarados' membership in Team Sky is validated!!!! Also I have a theory that if/when there is another Legends game it will be set in Kalos. Kamado's armor is almost identical Wikstrom's armor in Pokemon X&Y, and it sounds like his and benni's village could have been caught in the rampage of a Pokemon from the war.
Kamado references Johto locations in other localizations, and considering that he didn't allow to build the Gyarados statues it's pretty safe to assume he's from the town tore apart by Gyaradoses that then turned into the Lake of Rage
@@Ori385 And said Galarian armor is literally just Wikstrom's armor recolored. For all we know, some member of the Galaxy Expedition Team from Galar might have brought with them that armor and decided to either gift it as a thanks for being accepted or loan it to Kamado because, you know, it was going up against probably the equivalent of a god. Heck, why wouldn't Kamado talk about Galar more than a quick note about its armor's origin if he was actually Galarian? And why would more than one localization team put Johto references in his dialogues, especially in those immediately following frenzied Dialga/Palkia's appearance (where, since he was on the verge of panicking [considering the English localization literally made him say "Book it!], it would only make sense for him to talk about familiar places if it had to bring up other locations)? Also, Beni is a ninja, and the Mahogany Rocket Hideout has been explicitly said to be a former ninja hideout, further connecting these two's backstory to Johto (especially with the ninja/armored warrior [samurai] parallel that call back to the old Japanese history that characterises Johto so much)
Looking at the choices of which Legend to get first, Palkia might definitely be a good 1st choice based on their typing & movesets: Palkia has an advantage over Dialga since both know Earth Power, which gives Dialga a disadvantage being a Steel-type against a Ground type attack
Hisuian Goodra supremacy! I would love to see you get to the post game. It is a grind but it is a ton of fun. Diagla fight seems to be easier than the Avalug fight. Edit: Flying in this game reminds me a lot of the Arkham series. It is really like gliding with Batman.
No other boss battle reached the levels of frustration of the Electrode fight in my opinion. The Avalugg fight at least had a consistent pattern that you could get the hang of. Electrode was a hellish bombardment that left you almost no space to breath. Edit (spoilers for post game): Catching Enamorus was 100 times more frustrating than any of the Nobles. Made me want to throw my controller at the screen and scream.
@@error9049 The zoning fire in the center will assure you that he will hit you with his supernova attack because you can't reach him with your balms when he start casting the supernova or whatever that is.
I have to say that the hundreds of hours I put into breath of the wild definitely helped since I beat every noble fight in one attempt, although I will say that all of them after arcanine were harder than I expected
Really? I found it pretty easy. You can just stick by a base camp, use the strong style Barb barrage until it’s used up,rest your Pokémon, then repeat…you only have to do that like 3 times
when you choose irida the final bossfight is against dialga and vise versa if you choose adaman. It doesn't end up making a difference as you end up with both pokémon in your party, and you can use the origin forms of both of them. Both of the bossfights are exactly the same though so it doesn't really matter at all who you choose.
I have a theory, that Kammado and Beni are from Ecruteak City. Evidence includes the legend of Burned Tower and Ho-Oh reviving the beasts that took place there, and the fact that Kammado speaks in a Kansai (the region Johto is based on) accent when he loses his cool in the Japanese version of LA.
I expected an enormous "hail yeah" as this Avalugg appeared xD I'd love if sometime in the future there'll be a Legends-Game of other regions like Legends:Rayquaza or legends: Lugia that'll be amazing
No one likes either of their origin forms. Giratina is still cooler (somehow, not that I don’t like it because I actually love origin giratina, but I wanna dissect the human brain because I don’t get why 0 people like the new forms. I think mega evolutions look just as atrocious and yet here we are complaining about choking dialga and horse palkia)

@@evanswhite5961 Teach Origin Palkia Draco Meteor, keep Max Reviving it while spamming Draco Meteor on Giratina, and use the rest of your team as fodder. That's how I did it anyway.
Just wanna point out my opinion, there should be another part in the game where the protagonist goes to other regions such ad Kalos to meet and battle the first trainer to have a battle bond Greninja, that's just my opinion, but wouldn't it be cool
Since no one else has mentioned it let me just say i ADORE the music in the red sky segments music you truly feel hopeless and don't know where to go and no one can help you
I have kind of a theory on the potato mochi guy and Kamado... It's clearly stated that they are from another place and that a pokemon destroyed their entire town. However the words used are "burned to the ground" which means that the pokemon that did it was either a fire type or at least associated with fire or lava. Since the mochi guy is clearly Wally's ancestor, I think it's possible that his home was originaly Hoenn. Now, what's a Hoenn pokemon that can easly destroy or burn everything and terrify everyone to the point of making them repeat "pokemon are terrifying creatures" over and over? Quite possibly Groudon.
When Kamando says: "Can you prove to me, beyond a doubt, that (insirt name here) is innocent?" I would reply with, "Can you prove to ME, beyond a doubt, that I am guilty?!" I didn't think of this on the spot, I think I thought of it in a shower.
Don't forget that how the turn system works in this game 90% of the time in a trainer battle that you defeat a Pokemon his next pokemon will attack you before you can do anything.
Imagine if the protagonist can’t go back to his/her timeline and he has kids with the rival eventually leading into the protagonist of the game being the ancestor of themselves
Kamado: (sends player out to calm nobles, ignoring how much the player may protest) *literal days later* Kamado: "YOU TRAITOROUS OUTSIDER! THIS WAS ALL PART OF YOUR INSIDIOUS PLOT!" Player: 😐😒
Avalugg can be as easy as Kleavor, if you understand its very predictable attack pattern. You're even given the hint by the Warden that using the Invincibility Frames of your Dodge will make this seemingly insurmountable foe relatively easy!
The "glitch" with Avalugg can easily be explained. Yes, the first throw was very likely a bug, but the second throw just missed, and then for the following throws, after a boss starts attacking again, you cannot enter a battle with it, meaning you can only throw Balms until it gets stunned again
First, you should get an Arkoos shirt or hoodie at mandjtvmerch.com/ because that would make me happy

Also, Beni is a ninja, and the Mahogany Rocket Hideout has been explicitly said to be a former ninja hideout, further connecting these two's backstory to Johto (especially with the ninja/armored warrior [samurai] parallel that call back to the old Japanese history that characterises Johto so much)
This dude is a legend his edits and commentary are just so spot on.
I love that gyrodos actually flying was amazing to see
It is so cool to see the backstory of the spear pillar and how it became the ruins as it is!
Looking at the choices of which Legend to get first, Palkia might definitely be a good 1st choice based on their typing & movesets: Palkia has an advantage over Dialga since both know Earth Power, which gives Dialga a disadvantage being a Steel-type against a Ground type attack
The first part of Avalugg's attacks where he sends the line of snowballs, there's an opening between the last one launched and the new line
Edit (spoilers for post game):
Catching Enamorus was 100 times more frustrating than any of the Nobles. Made me want to throw my controller at the screen and scream.
@@Indigo_Polarity damn the only fight I struggled with was Arcanine because of how weird the hit box was
@@Indigo_Polarity my only struggle was electrode....every other one had a pattern to their attacks
@trilokesh .k avalugg was super easy, like ??? That was the easiest noble
Avalugg is especially hard when you have joycon drift to the left, but motion control drift to the right.
I had that issue on handheld mode but luckily I have a pro controller which doesn't have it
Michael, pls continue this series. Pls complete the post game also. Amidst my exams the only time I get to have fun is while seeing your vids.
That frostbite saved your bacon in the end there by halving Dialga's special attack, much like burn dose with attack.
Sometimes, you can find evo stones in certain mining nodes. Specifically, if they are sparkling, they have a chance of giving you an evo stone.
I cannot WAIT to see his reaction to the arceus fight after completing the dex
I can’t wait to see his reaction to Volo
Michael: "IT'S CYNTHIA BUT A MOMMY!"
Me: "Ah, I see you're a man of culture as well..."
But is Cynthia not already a mummy ?
Man id love to see mikey playthrough the post game! His reactions would be priceless!!
It would've actually made the final boss easier, had you chosen Adaman for Dialga, since Dialga isn't weak to Dragon like Palkia is
Meanwhile, I faced Dialga in such a way that I wasn't able to throw any Pokemon out until I was literally a single balm away from victory.
@@TheIvoryDingo same but I got it first try because I got used to the attacks
I sure wish I had a salamence with fighting palkia
I just used Garchomp and Lucario on dialga no palkia needed
Frenzied Palkia does have Earth Power though. It did massive damage to Dialga
Fun fact: If you choosed Adaman, then you would fight Dialga's normal and Palkia's origin form. You got the Palkia's normal because you choosed Irida.
So glad he caught the Overqwil. Such a pain in the ass to evolve from a Qwilfish.
Really? I found it pretty easy. You can just stick by a base camp, use the strong style Barb barrage until it’s used up,rest your Pokémon, then repeat…you only have to do that like 3 times
His evolution is little overkill.....
Overqwil OverKILL
Not really, i didn't find it too hard to evolve mine
I didn't realise you could catch those pokemon 🤦🏻♂️
I evolved one anyway tho
game : *kicks me out of the village*
me playing : "don't make me call the wrath of god upon you"

Sky: We’re saved!
Mikey: I wouldn’t say saved. More like under new management!
There’s a lot more postgame as well, but there’s an actual story event you get once you fill the Pokédex too.
25:58, good on you, I caught a shiny Togepi in a outbreak of them myself with a decent nature.
when you choose irida the final bossfight is against dialga and vise versa if you choose adaman.
10:27 The look on Akari’s face is hilarious.
The ending was so unexpected and avalugg was insane
heh it's only been out for a minute
Hissuian avalugg has to be one of the largest non legendary or dynamax Pokémon to ever exist

God just rickrolled the rocks out of existence
I expected an enormous "hail yeah" as this Avalugg appeared xD
I'd love if sometime in the future there'll be a Legends-Game of other regions like Legends:Rayquaza or legends: Lugia that'll be amazing
Team sky Mikey has to play legends:Rayquaza if it ever happens
My vote is for Alola getting a Legends game.
USUM honestly gave some very good lore to the region.
We already know the Legends of most box art Pokemon. If they make more games of this series I'd want things like Kyurem, Jirachi, or Eternatus.
We're probably gonna get a Legends Unova with the gen 5 remakes
Legends marshadow Or legends zeraora would be awesome
I chose Adaman on my playthrough so I'm glad he chose Irida. I've been interested in seeing Dialga's origin form
@@THGMR-ox7sd Personally, I quite liked the origin forms. They were interesting and gave them a unique appearance that tied them more closely with Arceus. But to each their own. Not everyone is going to like to new forms and there is nothing wrong with that
@@THGMR-ox7sd just because you don't like it doesn't mean no one does 🙄
@@THGMR-ox7sd Origin Dialga eventually grew on me
Origin Palkia still looks pretty dumb
Good job Luster for being the only Pokémon from route 1 that stayed on the team until the end
I love how goodra goes into its snail every time it attacks that's pretty cool...
I watched John do the Snowpoint temple the other day. He ended up confusing the rock and steel symbols. Needless to say his confusion was very fun to watch.
A moment of silence, please, for Mikey’s last dregs of sanity.
That Volo battle is going to erase what’s left of it.
Yeah and the two giratina fights after it
I literally needed a team of Origin Palkia, Origin Dialga, Darkrai and Regigigas to be able to beat all three consecutive battles and even then it was clutch. I can see where Cynthia gets her battle skills. Doesn't help that 5 of Volo's 6 Pokémon are Pokémon Cynthia has.
@@dracos0024 I didn’t even think of using legendaries. I just overleveled the hell out of my team and spammed grit items on my Zoroark.
ive been stuck on this fight since the day you commented this. you have no idea how much i want to throw that clinically insane half-baked moulding stalk of hisuian cauliflower off mount coronet all id need to do is get a machamp and itd send him flying but NO I have to pokemon battle it. and its giratina. and its spare giratina.
24:34 , no need to thank me! XD
"It's Cynthia... but a MOMMY!"
Bold to suggest she wasn't already.
I thought she looked like the resident evil lady.
Beni also uses the two Pokemon that wally uses in every hoenn game hinting him at being Wally's ancestor
The reason the battle didn't start during the Avalugg fight is because you held the trigger for less than a second, which made you undershoot.
Michael: Dialga, why are you being mean?!
Moments earlier: *beating up Dialga’s brother*
Since no one else has mentioned it let me just say i ADORE the music in the red sky segments music you truly feel hopeless and don't know where to go and no one can help you
Mikey: “it’s a horse”
Wait until he see’s palkia

Not a bad theory. Very easily could be Groudon out of control. Legends: Rayquaza confirmed? Lol
When fighting Avalugg you have to throw your poké ball in front of it to initiate the battle, otherwise the ball just flies back to you.
When Kamando says: "Can you prove to me, beyond a doubt, that (insirt name here) is innocent?" I would reply with, "Can you prove to ME, beyond a doubt, that I am guilty?!" I didn't think of this on the spot, I think I thought of it in a shower.
"I thought he was gonna be a jerk but I didn't think he was gonna be a ninja!" That's such a great line
A nuzlocke of this would be insane, though the catching rules would have to be changed significantly.
Also,The trainer shouldn't die in a nuzlocke
Don't forget that how the turn system works in this game 90% of the time in a trainer battle that you defeat a Pokemon his next pokemon will attack you before you can do anything.
A lot of ppl are trying including pchal. It's gonna be really different especially bc you need grit items in this game
I'm doing one
Damn you have already beaten the main story. Mikey go Brrrrr.
Edit: Please do post game. I want to see you fight ARKOOS
Imagine if the protagonist can’t go back to his/her timeline and he has kids with the rival eventually leading into the protagonist of the game being the ancestor of themselves
That's what happens
@@adityagandhi9882 proof?
I love that every tiktok I see about Legends Arceus there’s at least one comment saying “it’s ar-KOOS” followed by so many angry comments
Kamado: (sends player out to calm nobles, ignoring how much the player may protest)
*literal days later*
Kamado: "YOU TRAITOROUS OUTSIDER! THIS WAS ALL PART OF YOUR INSIDIOUS PLOT!"
Player: 😐😒
I beat avalugg on my third try. It was tough but probably the easiest boss I fought in my playthrough of the game
Me too
Easier than Kleavor and Liligant?
Avalugg can be as easy as Kleavor, if you understand its very predictable attack pattern. You're even given the hint by the Warden that using the Invincibility Frames of your Dodge will make this seemingly insurmountable foe relatively easy!
I was really hoping that the “Origin” ball would have been the first Master Ball
You’ve gotta have the last fight in this LP as well.
This was the only boss I died to because I kept forgetting when Dialga transitioned from pink circles of death to the Lurantis Disc Attack.
The "glitch" with Avalugg can easily be explained. Yes, the first throw was very likely a bug, but the second throw just missed, and then for the following throws, after a boss starts attacking again, you cannot enter a battle with it, meaning you can only throw Balms until it gets stunned again
15:55 the captions refusing to say mommy makes this so much funnier
When you finish legends arkoos you should do a play through as TEAM SKY!
Yes there are flying type pokéballs
And now Mikey’s team is 5/6 the same as the one I planned on using. The only difference is he’s using Luxray and I’m using Wyrdeer
7:19 - that's what she said.
20:09 i feel like he's talking about Groundon since he's the ancestor of Wally from Hoenn
Why does this series make me laugh so much
Because my friend Michael is extremely funny
