I’ve being shiny hunting a Riolu in arceus for 32 hours. At 25:32 seconds of this video I finally found it. PM7 and Ginger are the true shiny charm.
Getting the entire Spheal line shiny, with the shiny alpha Walrein from a space time distortion being the cherry on top, really warms my heart

A "special" shiny from a shaking rock or tree was actually my very first shiny in this game. I had a shiny Geodude pop out of a rock on the back side of the Obsidian Highlands camp. Caught me TOTALLY off guard!
Also John, random side note but I have a very fun story for you personally. Last night as I was doing a massive mass outbreak in the mirelands, I was clearing out an Unown swarm. Afterwards while looking through my box of the Pokemon I caught, I saw that the letters I happened to catch were
O-N-Y-X-J-H-!-N-Y-H
I randomly thought to myself, can I spell anything here? As it turns out, I was able to spell "JOHNNY!" (with a few extra letters thrown in)
That was my first shiny too! How funny 😂❤

2 of the 4 shiny alphas I’ve found were non-static, non-outbreak shinys. Both of them were during mmo’s, they just weren’t in outbreaks lol.
Not in Legends Arceus, but I’ve found several shinies literally right next to outbreaks in Violet way before finding one in the outbreak😂

In an outbreak of swinub I got a shiny and another one in a couple of seconds I saved and caught them and I forgot to save after so I had to catch them again 😂

You can't save for Pokemon in distortions because once you reload it won't be there

Dang it, the PM7 shiny luck is not a lie. After watching this video I went and played some Legends Arceus for myself, and immediately caught a full odds shiny rowlet and a full odds shiny kirlia. All within 20 minutes of starting.

This video inspired me to try this challenge in Legends Arceus as well. Day 1 was wildly successful being able to complete obsidian field lands with a lucky alpha alakazam from a massive mass outbreak getting that special out of the way. Day 2 has gotten me squat 😆. Wish me luck.
