I've been following basketball for years and still don't understand some posters. There are a few here where MJ is positioning himself to get out of the way but also get a hand on the ball. Barely any verticality going up, it's always to the side. Sure, he's in the area, but I don't consider most if not all of these posterizers. I ain't a MJ-fan boy, just someone trying to make sense of posterizers after a decade of following the sport.

Getting dunked on is a sign that a player is not scared to contest a shot. If Jarret Allen was scared to get postered then he won't jump and would have not gotten that block on Lebron. Lebron would have not blocked Splitter and JT would not have dunked on him. Posterizers are part of the game.
