Yes u r right but one thing you have to notice is he mostly bowled in Australia, NZ, england and west indies.. he avoid coming to India, Pakistan and sri Lanka.. and this match/series is a prime example where he did not perform well at all.
At 23:00 Sachin goes "Fuck you! Yeah...FUCK OFF!!" Just imagine how chirpy that Aussie side must be to extract that reaction from the other wise saint like demeanour of Sachin! I think it's also the heat of the battle! McGrath can bowl into the corridoor of uncertainty until the batsmen are in their graves. A world-class workhorse. Before those two aggressive shots (and truly mesmerising given the stage and situation) by Tendulkar, McGrath constantly beats him or forces him to leave. Tendulkar knows that he will maintain his line and length. He also won't let the McGrath assert dominance. Imagine the balls of steel required to step out against arguably the best bowler of that time! That's not it though! Right after stepping out once, Sachin is thinking what is he going to bowl next? Any ordinary bowler would lose their line and length after that insult. But that's no ordinary bowler there. He knows it's difficult to break McGrath's discipline! He'll be right back on the line. And the bloody chirping! Tendulkar is right. The ball is pitched where it's expected to but what no one expects is Tendulkar stepping out!! AGAIN! To the great Glenn McGrath!!
