I changed my filter and my sensor out. I still have the code after a 30 min battery disconnect. It comes after driving for a few miles. My gauge reads around 40 when i start the vehicle. After it warns up it sits around 20. It operates normally and goes up while accelerating. Cruise set at 60 is about 25-30PSI. Anyone have any idea? I dont hear any engine ticking.

Jr Avila i had a 2008 chevy avalanche with a 5.3 engine today at the shop. i’m a mechanic had code p0521 engine oil pressure sensor and i did the same procedure in this video and my idle sits at 20
I got this code again. I changed it once already about 6 months ago, is not that bad this time but I have to change it so it won’t shut the engine again. Last time it was reading low oil pressure and so it was telling me to shut down the engine.
My uncle has a 2004 Chrysler PT cruiser 2.4 l. Codes p 0522 and 0113 came up I replaced 0522 oil pressure sensor switch weird i reset codes and 0113 code gone but o522 still there any ideas why still won't start?

+Eduardo Diaz Diagnostic codes are not always perfect, they can point you in the right direction but a different issue on the vehicle could be causing said part to fail. We would suggest consulting with a local mechanic for further assistance. 1aauto.com
My engine light came on the code was p0521 changed the oil sensor..but the light came back on a day later what else could be the problem Gage is working fine??
If you listen, he tellls you it's "really hard to get to the sensor, you can struggle, but" and then it goes to the the removed manifold. I'd guess because it's really hard to get to.

You don't have to take the intake manifold off to change it.
think they just wanted to get good shots with the camera
@@scubasteve2132 Have you tried to do this without removing the manifold? Not easy.
What does “A” range performance mean?
Would this cause a no crank no start?
Would this cause a loss of power ?

Art cisneros I did an oil change using Mobil-1 full synthetic high mileage 30-5 and a Bosch filter and it fixed it as well

Dude I have the same problem, were you able to come up with a solution?
@@fernandocanogonzalez6034 could be leaking or burning a lot of oil
try oil filter from gm UPF48R ,fixed mine, currently at 460,000 km
Why did you remove the entire manifold? Why not just reach behind the sound barrier? This seems like a lot of extra labor $$...
prolly just for camera shots
