Thank you, would love to hear more on your monistic experiences. I have spent 2 weeks as part of the lay community in a Buddhist monastery, and just hearing you speak gives me a shiver of something very meaningful within me. My wish is to return as a monk for a period of time. I currently live, work and teach at a small dharma centre in England. Thank you again for sharing your experiences, Sadu.
Your message resonates in shivering in me too! I know you have wonderful Dhamma communities in England which I'd love to visit once. I appreciate to hear you teach Dhamma too and I am more than happy to share more of my experience! If you can ask some specific questions, I can make another video to serve all... Or maybe you can satisfy your thirst with my three podcasts where I was interviewed about my nunhood experience : castbox.fm/vb/252107389, this is a link to the first part, and you can find all three of them in different podcast apps under the name "When I was a nun" in my podcasts blog "Life is to experience only". I will be happy too to share more and deeper if you wish in a private conversation.
You know, @Simon James, actually, I will also be in Thabarwa center in Italy in a two weeks time, in the center which was founded right when I was ordained and we visited there to establish new connections and it'll be only my first visit there now. Thabarwa is the worldwide center of Sayadaw Ottamasara with whom I had a chance to ordain and learn most of my Dhamma understanding! If you can travel, you're welcome to join me there for a couple of days and you can stay there as long as you want. The conditions are still quite poor, but the place is free of any charge and full of Dhamma!
Thank you so very much for this inspirational video on your experience in Buddhist life and ordination. I went for Buddhist studies at a nunery in California USA and learned so much about my life and the dhamma . Finding your video on you tube was a happy surprise, good karma and thank you …

You mean, how I was ordained? It is possible to do a temporary ordination upon consent with the monk-preceptor, under whom you take ordination. I did this with a Theravada community from Myanmar
Oh, I didn't leave the path! I am still treading it slowly, but surely. For the moment of temporary ordination, I was already married and it was actually my husband who gave me that idea to try as he knows my devotion to Dhamma. Temporary - initially meant it would be only for a short time. And since then I continue practicing and getting back to Thabarwa and developing our center in Europe. And recently I just got back from a serious meditation retreat of 45 days long, which gave me another push forward. I don't think I will ever leave the path already... :)

U have such beautiful eyes Luv... Hah. There were these three warriors who came together and decided to conquer the World...So the first one said, "give me hundred thousand men and I'll conquer the World". The next one thought and thought and said, "No U give a a Million men and I will conquer the World". The third one didn't even hesitate and said, "U give me just 500 men an army of Lovers and I will conquer the World". And off he went, as this pleased their Master greatly... As he was very impressed with the third one's choice...hah.😊. No matter whatever the condition of the mind...Love always works. Man has flown to the out reaches of the Universe and to the Moon. But, has never traveled the distance of heart which is just four fingers from the breast. One doesn't need to shut onself away to receive that inner love and peace. "The Heart has Love like Nectar Go there and Find it.". Blessings,Love and Peace ☮️.
Meditation is literally a pause button for the mind. In actual fact we meditate all the time. But, we are just not aware of it. The mind gets distracted and gets caught up upon attachments. To put it simply the fear of letting go. The fear of letting go of what we haven't got...Hahaha.😅. Your transjectory is from an interesting angle it's comin from more of a Taoist Buddhist experience...??? 😊
Well you talked around, but did not dwelve on the the real thing, that you say is the essence but stop short, then you say dicovering the Truth but again you stop short. What did you really get. Whast is the TRUTH. I did not really understand or probably you did not get anything. Because you still continue living in the ILLUSION of I, myself etc. Gautam Budha did not talk about this. By the way real meditation is day long and not siting somewhere and trying to stop the chattering of the mind. You did not even realise that you and mind are two seperate entities. You still continue to be a slave of your mind. SORRY I AM BEING BLUNT, BUT YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME JUST BEATING ABOUT THE BUSH.
This is an overview talk and as all my channel, this video too, touch Buddhism only on the surface, to bring at least some information to regular lay people and not scare or make them bored. This channel is not Buddhist educational channel. And yes, you're right I don't talk about any attainments as I didn't get them, it wasn't the purpose and it would hardly be possible in such a short experience, not in our age. However, I do recommend for those who are truly interested in the Buddhas path to try at least permanent ordination for many different benefits, while among mine were discovering some deeper understanding of the Truth (impermanence) - although yet largely at the intellectual level only, plus some other experience which I discuss with people in private upon their true interest.
