I’m using HB90 for my personal use and a happy planner classic for work. I’m turning 55 this year so I’m seriously considering a 5 year journal. You are inspiring!
I have tried an all in one but also have tried seperate planners. I think I may do a school planner for the kids since I homeschool, a5 rings planner for goals/business stuff and another one for everything. But I honestly go from wanting everything in my binder to have if many different ones because a5 binders can’t hold a whole year at a time plus added pages. It’s a hard decision, for sure. I am a huge fan of EC because of their covers and paper quality.
I was very good. I did not purchase anything for 2023. I’m a C&P subscriber, thus I’m going to let the A5 spiral (love the new format) be my everything. Aside from that I’ll be using a B6, generic TJM journal, and 2 notebooks to keep track of my life. With lots and lots of sticky notes and note pads 😊 I really really wanted the Sterling-Ink planner. And I’m ready to try Hobonichi.
I love planner and journals, but I’m always amazed by how many planners you can use at one time. My brain would break trying to keep up with all of them. It’s always fun to see your process

I feel inspired to do a 5 year journal. Keeping track or writing down memories over the years and being able to look back on them all feels so uplifting.
I’ve actually spent the last day creating one for use in Goodnotes for me this year. I never wanted to start a 5 year journal unless I could do it ON Jan 1st. I’m very excited to do it… Finally! 😂

This is the year I've decided to really start using a planner. Between grad school and work, I really need to be more organized. It's good for me to hear that mainstreaming the different "worlds" in one planner is a good idea.
I've been quietly watching your videos for years now. You have encouraged me to keep working, regardless of the setbacks. I started creating my own planner system about 15 years ago. I set it aside when life got too crazy for a while, but seeing all the customization you have done to create your perfect system, I have pulled out those old files and am reworking it to fit my life and career now. Custom planning is something that really has made all the difference for me. Thank you so much for all you do. You cannot know how much it means to those of us lucky enough to have found you. I was wondering, could share what type of paper you use when you print your HB90 pages?

I’ve come to realise I procrastiplan a lot! I used Nano to get back into a writing habit so now I’m also streamlining my planning. One paper planner, a writing bullet journal for my projects and Notion. Simple and to the point! 😊
After 4 years in a hotel, I am finally in my own place and able to be back in the planner community. I have been mind mapping out everything so I don’t over do it on the first go. I am already looking at Franken-planning a few Erin Condren planners or putting them in a Filofax like I used to do. I really like using the monthly for budgeting. Also I would love to know more about the Amber McCue course and some of your other mini courses.
@@melissamiller5972 I felt like that a lot while going through. Fortunately, I found some truly good friends that helped me. And not with physical things. It was the mental. I discovered this channel during this and it was more of her talking about her going through, and how she was dealing with stress and mental health that helped me. I started meditating and journaling. I started finding my inner strength. I started working on one thing at a time with just a notebook and a pen. There were nights that I just cried and it was the best feeling ever in that hotel room. I know this is hard but I want to encourage you. I also say reach out if you need it. Find that one person that you can talk to that is just there. I know the struggle is real, you have friends we are here. keep reaching out.

I love to see chunky planners, but i also understand them not being so portable. I tried to get the common planner without success but decided having a Hobonichi cousin would actually be better for my plans next year. I like your planner plans for 2023 and the reasons why your switching it up a little.
Good morning, Sarra. Wow! I never thought you’d move away from a disc- bound system. What I do see is you still looking for the ‘planner peace ‘ the planner folks are always searching for. I get moving more digital since you are building a team and need everyone on the same page. I’d be lost without my paper but no one else needs to see them but me. You find what works for you. Thank you for sharing all of your ideas on your new system. I have also found that if I have to many planners,journals, notebooks that I don’t always have the time to fill out and use all the pages. When I see pages I left blank I feel like I haven’t haven’t accomplished anything and sometimes feel guilty. It really messes with my mental health. I love your 6 months for life perspective as well as your planner choice. Thank you again. You have definitely given me some inspiration.

100% agree that having too many planner can rob the joy of planning. I love flipping through that full planner at the end of the year and when I have too many it can get a bit spotty
Great to see what your doing with your planners in 2023. So far my planning involves a Passion planner for everyday stuff, an Astrocal Moon diary, a Moonology diary, Biddy Tarot 2023 planner, a b6 stalogy (to build a mystical reference/book of shadows) and I also plan to incorporate Notion aswell. Thank you for all your insights, hauls, information and inspiration. Because of your a5 ring planner systeem I got inspired to make my own printable sheets in Excel in February '21. Since then I've been using a a5 ring onder on a daily basis without the struggles I had with the bullet journal system!
Thanks to you I've bought my first 5 year diary/journal for use next year - I've also bought one as presents for each of my kids so they all have the same fresh start to a personal record-keeping journey. I've also started drawing a tarot card each day and bought a journal to write each one down and jot some notes about how I feel about each one and what I'm interpreting them to mean. Again, all thanks to you 🙂

Love this video. I've always loved paper planners. I'm nervous about digital planning. My adult daughter tries to encourage digital, she is so fast with her fingers, I can't keep up. For now, paper planning will continue. I get so tickled with texture of paper, appearance of paper, & writing on favorite papers. Blessed be!!!

I'm like you... love my paper planners! Going digital is great for sharing with a team and for waste reduction, but it just doesn't have the same feeling of putting pen to paper. It's literal joy.
I'm switching my entire system for 2023. I used to just have a bullet journal and a TN for the first half of the year. I'm adding a writing-specific journal, a personal journal, and a spirituality journal in one, and then a planner. I've been so curious about the Hobonichi for a while now. Lots of hopefully good changes for 2023 in health, finances, peace of mind and heart, and happiness. Happy Holidays!
I am so happy I'm not the only person using a multi-planning system, though not so many as you have! I had 8 or 9 planners this year; next year I'm downsizing quite a bit, but I still have individual notebooks as process journals for different books/book series. And I still do bullet journaling with some things. Next time my husband says I have a planner problem I'm showing him this video! XD
I used to think that one planner a year was all I needed. But you have opened my mind and next year I will be using three. My sleep and gratitude need to become their own notebooks for 2023. I think this will make things so much smoother next year.
I'm going to complete the quarter 1 of HB90 before purchasing anything else. It will be my gift for finishing quarter 1 and seeing what I really need to manage the system in quarter 2. I love that you share these videos as it gives me ideas of what is available or there.
Wow, your planner stack and online system overwhelms me! I really admire how you manage to keep so many balls in the air! I have agiant fridge calendar, and a A5 with a dated monthly, but undated weekly and daily pages so that I can use what I need at the time and stop feeling guilty for not using them. I brain dump in notebooks. I need to pick through this more closely though, there are a lot of great ideas!

I've been using the happy planner discs & my own paper for years... for 2023 I decided to get a big happy planner, but still have a couple others that I keep up with as well as making junk journals... I didn't realize there was this huge community on RUclips just for regular or decorative journaling!!! I'm now going to go through your videos to get caught up with all the things you do!!! I always say, the longer the video, the better!

Thank you for sharing all of your ideas on your new system. I have also found that if I have to many planners,journals, notebooks that I don’t always have the time to fill out and use all the pages. When I see pages I left blank I feel like I haven’t haven’t accomplished anything and sometimes feel guilty. It really messes with my mental health. I love your 6 months for life perspective as well as your planner choice. Thank you again. You have definitely given me some inspiration.

100% agree that having too many planner can rob the joy of planning. I love flipping through that full planner at the end of the year and when I have too many it can get a bit spotty
Great to see what your doing with your planners in 2023. So far my planning involves a Passion planner for everyday stuff, an Astrocal Moon diary, a Moonology diary, Biddy Tarot 2023 planner, a b6 stalogy (to build a mystical reference/book of shadows) and I also plan to incorporate Notion aswell. Thank you for all your insights, hauls, information and inspiration. Because of your a5 ring planner systeem I got inspired to make my own printable sheets in Excel in February '21.
Since then I've been using a a5 ring onder on a daily basis without the struggles I had with the bullet journal system!
Thanks to you I've bought my first 5 year diary/journal for use next year - I've also bought one as presents for each of my kids so they all have the same fresh start to a personal record-keeping journey. I've also started drawing a tarot card each day and bought a journal to write each one down and jot some notes about how I feel about each one and what I'm interpreting them to mean. Again, all thanks to you 🙂

Love this video. I've always loved paper planners. I'm nervous about digital planning. My adult daughter tries to encourage digital, she is so fast with her fingers, I can't keep up.
For now, paper planning will continue. I get so tickled with texture of paper, appearance of paper, & writing on favorite papers.

I'm like you... love my paper planners! Going digital is great for sharing with a team and for waste reduction, but it just doesn't have the same feeling of putting pen to paper. It's literal joy.
I'm switching my entire system for 2023. I used to just have a bullet journal and a TN for the first half of the year. I'm adding a writing-specific journal, a personal journal, and a spirituality journal in one, and then a planner. I've been so curious about the Hobonichi for a while now. Lots of hopefully good changes for 2023 in health, finances, peace of mind and heart, and happiness. Happy Holidays!
I am so happy I'm not the only person using a multi-planning system, though not so many as you have! I had 8 or 9 planners this year; next year I'm downsizing quite a bit, but I still have individual notebooks as process journals for different books/book series. And I still do bullet journaling with some things.
Next time my husband says I have a planner problem I'm showing him this video! XD
I used to think that one planner a year was all I needed. But you have opened my mind and next year I will be using three. My sleep and gratitude need to become their own notebooks for 2023. I think this will make things so much smoother next year.

Wow, your planner stack and online system overwhelms me! I really admire how you manage to keep so many balls in the air! I have agiant fridge calendar, and a A5 with a dated monthly, but undated weekly and daily pages so that I can use what I need at the time and stop feeling guilty for not using them. I brain dump in notebooks.
I need to pick through this more closely though, there are a lot of great ideas!

I love this video. I really love how you aren't trying to make planners work just because you love them and want them to work. We are always growing. That's why there is no planner peace. I just stumbled across your channel... I loved all the things!!! I've been using the happy planner discs & my own paper for years... for 2023 I decided to get a big happy planner, but still have a couple others that I keep up with as well as making junk journals... I didn't realize there was this huge community on RUclips just for regular or decorative journaling!!! I'm now going to go through your videos to get caught up with all the things you do!!! I always say, the longer the video, the better!
