The list includes:
5. Ezio's Speech from the Short Film: Assassin's Creed Embers
4. Arno's Speech from Assassin's Creed Unity
3. Bayek and Aya's Speech From Assassin's Creed Origins
2. Connor's Speech from Assassin's Creed 3

Every Assassin has their own interpretation of the creed.. That's what makes the Assassin's Creed so relatable.

I see what you did there

@@marchalmiller9736 yes I know that. That is the essence of what its means to be an Assassin.

@J.T.M. i like it when i hear socrates, i wish i was the student of such a great man. Perhaps he talks very much but he never talks nonsense

"You humbled me once and I took that hard lesson and I bettered myself. Die, knowing that for all of our conflict you helped make a soldier out of a scoundrel. Leave this life for a lasting peace.. Down among the dead." - *Edward Kenway to a dying El Tiburon* (AC IV Black Flag)
I love Connor's speech. The fact that he knows that he will not live to see the Assassin's succeed, that he will not live to see the Templars vanquished, but fights on anyway because he is full of hope. I love that. His conviction that the cause and ideals he fights and strives for are right are what makes him and all the Assassin's so likeable, and it exemplifies the Creed.
I'm not gonna lie, I like ac 3 because you can throw weapons, I love hurling swords at people
@@Izzy_the_moderator oh I forgot about that! The Charles Lee chase at the end took up most of my memories of AC3
What a travesty that speech wasn’t actually in the game. There were so many complaints about Connor’s character because people didn’t understand him - and this speech, as well as making the Homestead missions required would have gone such a long way.
@@BoyWonder1914 I was about to ask where's this speech is from, I would've remembered it seeing how great it is

Ezio in that last speech describes how we give away our freedoms too gladly, and how we never choose to follow our own path and seek out our own truths. This describes our current world perfectly which is why it has greater meaning.

@@terrencemoldern2756 I’d say they offered more options for different kind of players, while I do agree that it doesn’t make sense for assassins to fight like some barbarians so what I did was I try my best to not use the skills and go fully stealth instead.

Jennifer: But what if the ship is actually called a boat?..... Why did you just stop the ship?
Aye but had an adventure of folly
You don’t have to bring Ezio in every comment on other assassins. Ezio is a legend and it’s a fact. But we are assassins, we supposed to be a brotherhood, not to hate or compare our own kind. Plus, everyone have their own mind, culture, ways of thinking so they have their own favorite.
I like Connor Kenway, “because no one else will”.
I like Connor's seriousness

Bayeks letter to aya in Valhalla was amazing. Ngl made me tear up. That scene at the beginning of origins is one of my favorite. It set Bayeks intentions very clearly. We know his son was killed, and now he’s hunting down everyone responsible. Plus he did it in the most badass way possible.

Bayek and Altair are *so fucking underrated.*
Altair underrated?
@@alonnie1919 lol he's not
@@Lefy2007 Exactly 😂😂
Sorry I meant in terms of things like what he’s contributed to the Creed, and his overall philosophy. Not many people even retain what he wrote in the codexes in AC2. What made me say he’s underrated is yes, he’s loved by the AC community but unfortunately due to him not getting as much shine as Ezio (I mean, 4 games c’mon) he just got a major skip for a large part of his life in the mainstream games (outside of books and spin-offs)
I agree only with Bayek. Bayek is so underrated... Ezio and Altair (and maybe Edward) are very popular in the community.
The day I first witnessed this Bayek-Aya scene, I got goosebumps, and wondered how perfectly the Assassin Insignia's origin is displayed.
It's truly, origin of the Assassin brotherhood.
There were no assassins then(just mercenaries) , there was no typical assassin style, yet people compare it to those AC games , in which assassins were very modernised, i.e Ezio's series(No doubt it was a masterpiece) and Ac Black flag.
The parts of AC origins and odyssey, were perfect in their own story. They showed us how assassins came to exist. Comparing them to others, is pure insanity.
When I first played Origins I couldn't really get behind the motivation. But when I went and explored the world and did the side missions Bayek's character felt so trapped, all he wanted was to avenge his son, and he's constantly confronted with more and more bullshit, you can tell that him and Aya were growing apart and it tore him up. He's tragic, he's the last Medjai, a relic of a bygone past, and you can see it. He loves his land and he has to accept that it is gone. He wants revenge and he has to accept that he will never have it, he wants his love and he has to give it up for a greater purpose. And for the people who didn't feel the attachment to Khemu, just play any side mission where Bayek has to deal with a child, you can tell that he's a father to a dead son, he's kind, compassionate and it always breaks my heart to see him get sad when the kids ask if he has a son.
I think that’s why I got attached to him. I would always try to do all the side quests of an area before moving on, so I saw compassion and empathy a lot
Connor's speech on compromise is my favorite one
They maybe assassins, but they do not kill with a blind eye.
Except mario lmao
@@nayeonranghae Nice one 😂
I loved how Haytham spoke about Connor after the finishing blow. That he said he is proud of him in a way. Then he names all the noble qualities his son has. And he finished it with the sentence "I should've killed you long ago"

Assassins Creed 3 had such a deep story so many people didn't understand....
I always liked Haythem's speech about the templars in the final fight. Much of it so true almost makes me want to join the templars. I particularly liked: "Even when your kind triumphs... Still we rise again. And you know why? It is because the order is born from realization. We require no Creed. No indoctrination by desperate old men. All we need is that the world be as it is."
Personally I love unity, I enjoy Arno and how he progressed from being careless and forgetful to serious and content. I like his character a lot and I think he deserves a sequel personally
Sadly, Ubisoft will never do that. Or maybe for the best considering the franchise is completely different to other AC games.
DLC Arno is amazing.
Each and every game Assassins' Creed franchise had some of the most iconic speeches. But Ezio's speech creates an otherworldly feeling every time one hears it. These are not speeches, these are emotions.
Orgins is such a good freaking game...love it ☺️
Man Arno's development was arguably the best among all the AC games. I would like to mention Ezio but his lack of emotions in AC2 just breaks it. Arno actually felt the pain of being rejected, betrayed you can see it in his voice and face.
Arno’s story had more than “assassin good templar bad” and it sucks we didnt get more
If we’re talking about delivery, Bayek’s VA is always on point. The anger, pain, joy, and passion he portrays is just amazing
Ezios speech for me personally is one of the greatest speeches in video game history. Brought a tear to my eye when I first played the game and heard it
Bayek has many names. Bayek of siwa, "the last medjay", "The hidden one", but I'd like to call him "the first assassin". Except that technically the first assassin would be Darius but still this is when the assassins were created so that's what he should be called. Aya and Bayek: "The first Assassins"

Edward Kenway(Ac4 bf )
Best sppech according to me
I remember when AC1 was released and after playing, I had "Laa shay'a waqui'n moutlaq bale kouloun moumkine" written in almost all my books it sounded so cool.
"When I was very young, I was foolish enough to believe that our Creed would bring an end to all these conflicts. If only I had possessed the humility to say to myself, I have seen enough for one life, I've done my part. Then again, there is no greater glory than fighting to find the truth."
―Altaïr to his son Darim during the Mongol attack on Masyaf, 1257.
My absolute favorite is Bayek. He was the first Assassin I’ve ever played, and his journey from vengeful father to founder of the brotherhood is really great to experience. Also, you get to experience where many of the Assassins’ traditions, tenets, and attributes came from. Moreover, the kindness, venerance, and integrity he shows every now and again are very admirable.
Finally, a man that was so good a being shadow that even the order he founded doesn’t know he exists is definitely up there in my book.
Idk if this would count, but Blackbeard's speech in one of the AC4 trailers is amazing. Gives me chills every time. It really emphasizes how fearsome Edward is.

Silenzio. Twenty-two years ago, I stood where I stand now - and watched my loved ones die, betrayed by those I had called friends. Vengeance clouded my mind. It would have consumed me, were it not for the wisdom of a few strangers, who taught me to look past my instincts.
I never understood why people said Connors character was bad. You may not like him but how he acts and his conviction makes perfect sense. A native who saw his mother murdered. A man who had to kill his father. The very people he helped in a revolution, turned on him. Murdered, pillaged, raped his people. He had a tragic life. But despite all of that. He held onto something. Hope. He hoped that in time this cause he knew was greater than himself would pay off and his life would have the ultimate meaning. A reality in which people could exist with freedom and without fear of the qualities that seem to be imbedded within the human psyche. The qualities he was forced to suffer through.

It is Just Sad...
The last speech of Ezio broke me down in tears.... how... MENTOR PLEASE REST IN PEACE AND WATCH US FROM THE HEAVENS
I know ezio is just a game character in a fictional world. But after playing all three game’s it feels like he is a part of me, that his death and life is a part of me. I have seen many assassins die but his was the one I remembered the most. I guess seeing him grow up from a kid into an assassin is why I love him Soo much. I mean no other assassins have other games that follow more part of their lives. Unless you count the connection between AC Rouge and AC unity, or 3 and 4. I guess what I’m trying to say is that Ezio had three games that were all about him and his life he plus a short film. Name any assassin that also has that
None because ubisoft thinks that a comic book is good enough of a sequel
I think brotherhood and revelations didn’t do much like they just had an already wise character. AC2 is where ezio started out as a brat and became a man with a wise head on his shoulders whatever. AC has a much bigger impact than brotherhood and revelations I don’t think those 2 should be counted

Bold statement to say that Connor is wiser than Altair or Ezio
@@Aravos99 I consider him wiser than Altair and Ezio, because he was aware of Templar motives, and understood them as well. To a point where he had second thoughts about validating them...
Altair and Ezio were limited by their perspective. They believed that Templars were a bunch of crazy people, doing a bunch of crazy things.
Connor was an assassin by choice, He could have joined his father... Altair and Ezio never got to see the Templar side of things like him.
@@thawne4235 So Altair being mentored by Al Mualim, traitor to the creed who alleged himself with the templars do not understand their motives?
Ezio, whos family was murdered by the Templars and went on a path of revenge. Only to come to the conclusion that men are free to do what they choose, freedom or "control", as long as it is their choice. Ezio, who grasped the reality that he was merely a conduit to Desmond, that he was a pawn in some game, and accepted this?
When both Altair and Ezio are known as the greatest assassins ever to live due to their wisdom and their contributions to the brotherhood? I'd argue that Connor definitely is wise, he is one of my favorites. But to say that he is the wisest is not something I agree with. But who cares who is "right or wrong", the beautiful thing about the series is that every assassin we get to play as, forges an emotional bond unlike no other!
My favorite speech’s all put together in one video. United by a community who loves the games, I love it.
Every speech is a reminder of how far each Assassin has grown. Each of their journeys were kickstarted by selfish motives. Even with noble motives, their world was black and white. Altair, a cold pawn of the Creed, fought for his honor. Ezio sought revenge for his family. Connor fought for his people's freedom. Edward wanted a secure future for his family, but gave in to excessive freedom and lost his purpose. Arno simply wanted to redeem himself into a more responsible man.
With each kill, they learned a lesson. Their preset beliefs are shaken with each confession. There is no black and white. They themselves aren't exempt. They realize that their methods aren't working. There's something they aren't doing it right. They're not thinking broadly enough.
By the end, sometimes with a shocking revelation, their eyes are finally opened and they truly start to get a glimpse of how the world works, what's their place in it and what really matters to them. There's no absolute truth. It's what we make of it. Reality isn't what it is, but defined by our actions. Even then we can't change everything, the impact of our actions may not be apparent, but it is there and may lay the groundwork of another reality, either as a reward or punishment. Most importantly it's all a matter of self realization, and this is something that can't be taught or indoctrinated. You have to choose your own path, open your minds and find out by yourself.
The arrogant, misguided Assassin learns humility and true freedom: the freedom of mind. The vengeful nobleman now values love and compassion above everything. The naive freedom fighter determined to reconcile with his father, grows wise from betrayal and lies, and chooses to fight by building a better generation. The wayward pirate didn't find peace in unfettered freedom, until he found a noble purpose. The spoiled brat hell bent on redemption saw the fallacies of the Creed: indifference, stubbornness, extreme prejudice and chaos.
So all of them has come to more or less the same conclusion, even with vastly different life experiences. It's applicable for everyone. Whoever came up with the base idea for the games is a philosophical genius.
sometimes, when I read comments like yours I feel really understood about what ac is and should be.
I wonder where this franchise would be, if you or me would be in the writers room, sharing these thoughts.
Felt happy reading this. Thank you
@@sebastiankillinger2659 The games changed my life. I mean I played them before when they came out, but I was just a kid back then. I've always been a bit of a rebel and I could relate to the characters. But I've always been frustrated because my rigid beliefs always clashed with the people in my life. I was going through a bit of a rough patch this year. One day I decided to play them all again, from AC1 to Unity. Suddenly everything starts to make sense. It was a bit hard shedding my old beliefs, but they did me good and I'm at peace now.
To most people, it's just a game with a simple good vs bad scenario. That's why the AC games these days are hardly about the Assassins. The last three games had extremely slow or nonexistent character development, and they barely scratched the surface of the Creed's teachings. For people like us, they're life lessons and a philosophy in itself. I'd like to think that if we were the writers, AC could've been the Star Wars of gaming.
@@Pakilla64 I can fully relate to that! When I first played AC 1 I wasn't old enough to completely understand the whole moral code etc and where it would go from here but I could really relate to altair and the creed and even the villains. Every perspective and conversation was well thought through. In some moments I questioned the assassins, mostly during the confession corridors or when talking to al mualim. It wasn't just black and white and nothing is that easy. Everyone acts with a motive or for a (for him) a right cause. And that's where true emersion comes for me. Struggling, failing, realization, regaining your honor mission by mission, getting wiser, questioning, resisting, etc. his the character development was not reached by any other in my opinion.
I can remember while on vacation in italy, we walked across the ponte veccio in florence and I said to my brothher like: woah, imagine playing AC here on these rooftops! and then well.. :)
So ezio was nice, and charismatic and I guess Ac is the game I played most but I wasnt in the end quite a fan of that charismatic womanizer. I mean don't get me wrong, he was awesome, but I liked altair more.
And sadly for me the only other assassins that came close to altair regarding humbleness through pain and sacrifice for me were connor and bayek.
I know a lot of people hated them because of gameplay or other reasons and they're right about that. And the stories got pretty disappointing getting to the end but okay.
Like the video said, connors speach at the end still gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. how he sees all that happened and he didn't achieve anything, but would never give in! that for me is the true spirit. fighting against the odds, against oppression and tyranny even though it might not change. but history tells us, that the people CAN make a difference, we see it time and time again. and if they wouldn't be afraid to work together we could accomplish anything. But we also need people to show us what is possible, and to believe in us. that for me is connor. a savage outsider. a liberator and leader to freedom.
and bayek, well he really believed in the people and his whole purpose was to serve the people of egypt. he struggled, failed many times, got defeated and got his honor and morals questioned many times. he was blinded by revenge first but over time he learned to be calm, to see the greater picture. he tried serving a pharao and chosen leaders, but he learned his lesson. they're corrupt and weak or cruel. he understood that the problems he faces and the suffering he endured are the same for everyone, so he faced his destiny, chose or formulated the tenets to live by over time and fought in the shadows for the freedom of his and all the people. recruited women and men to serve and protect.
but he also loved, he laughed, he was a man of passion and feelings. he screamed and gave in to his anger at first while confronting his enemies in the corridors (which to me are the best ones ever made) and then later clamed himself and chose to let the gods decide. also that whole feather thing was just great. a gesture of peace, not of hate.
I could really feel every emotion he had.
and finally that was in many ways the perfect origin story (best would have been if he did kill every target himself or with aya and if he drew the logo himself from the skull etc. but hey)
and those morals and the themes are still more present today then ever. they are so important and I always was like you, a rebel and I have the same mindset, so of course the games struck home with me! and because all that is relevant, I never understood why they cancelled the modern day.. that is just lazy and stupid. having a small modern day plot like in ac3 could have made the whole experience so much better and more believeable.. that it's not just entertainment like they advertise it now, but a inspiring game where the purpose to look into the past for clues is necessary to even play a character from the past..
and the other assassins well.. short:
edward to me was no assassin at all, he even killed some of them. exposed them, wore their robes without earning them, was only interested in prizes and gold. did what he wanted, got his friends killed, handed the templars the observatorium (that plot was also poorly written) and at the very very end. he got a realization, but after that he still is just a pirate with no actual cause.. sorry. thats not enough for a assassin game. for a pirate game yes. and yes, the world was beautiful.
arno: ac5 had soooo much potential and the world was just amazing. parcour and gameplay has and will never better, yet clunky. and the story did so many things right with the underground assassin temple and rituals etc etc. but in the end the villains and plots could have been more interesting. the whole thomas scene at the start was for example really, really good. altair vibes. arno was humble too but elise threw it all out..
jacob and evie.. no comment..
odyssey is a disgrace
and valhalla well.. they could cut the ac stuff from it and it would be a ok game. but nothing in there gave me a real feeling for it. not even the two assassins. or more like, they're just salt in an open wound. that could have been stitched (at least how darbie spoke about it) but they didn't give it mouch attention. and eivor is like edward. not really interested in anything than pillaging and building a settlement lol
and thanks for saying all that, I really feel the same way. With a liiittle bit of work, every character in every story of every game could have been interesting. we could have done that.

I thought Edward leaves for England at the end of the game and joins the British Assassin Brotherhood. He doesn't go back to pirating. Though I agree it wasn't an AC game for the most part. I liked the story, but the pacing is dreadfully slow. The same reason I didn't like AC Origins that much. Except Origins' storytelling and character development wasn't as subtle as it should've been. And the "origin" part was extremely rushed at the end. And all those gods and monster boss battles done it for me. That was the final nail in the coffin for the AC franchise LOL. Ubisoft keeps screwing it up and says they did it for the fans, because they themselves have no idea what to do with it. Instead of building on, fixing and improving what made the games unique, they just scrapped them entirely.
I also agree with Unity. The foundation was solid, the subject matter and characters were perfect. There were so much parallels with Altair's story, like the Assassin/Templar romance, an Assassin being a major villain, the country being in a state of war and whatnot. Bellec's death was cut very short. If only he wasn't sloppy to cover up Mirabeau's murder, killed a few more Assassin Mentors, systematically dismantled the order to rebuild it and blamed it on Elise, it would've made for a much more compelling story. Also, the revolution bit was barely touched upon. It was explained that the Templars fueled it so that people would see the chaos and willingly let an iron fist rule over them, but it seemed like it was just there in the background with no real purpose. But in tone and setting, it was the closest to AC1.
I'm no longer into the franchise, all I do is just come back and watch the old videos because those are all that's left of it. Hopefully one day Ubisoft goes bankrupt or something and sells the franchise to someone capable lmao.
I would love to see a remake of all of the first few games in this series to the quality of graphics of Valhalla. keep the main story of each game as well as extending the story
There is not a man or women that ı loved left standing beside me. Rest ın peace master edward kenway😪.
I have been a fan of this series since Assassin’s Creed 2 easily my favorite game series of all time. Watching this video hit me real hard the nostalgia of Ezio’s speech and then remembering the scene with his brother on the roof at the beginning of the game and all that came back to me because of this video. One of the quickest I have ever hit like and subscribe. Great video
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it
I wish Ezio's speech at the end of Revelations was here too. It was legendary.
First speech is just straight to my heart
All the new speeches are more about blood and glory while ezios feels inspirational and wise :)
Nice video btw
Oh come on man , what???
All speeches in this vídeo where incredible and he still left a couple out...
@@lucas-xf7rc yeah they were good but every game has a different theme making it feel different and we only know ezio from his beginning to a old wise man
In high-school I did performing arts, recited ezios embers speech in my best Italian/ ezio accent, was told I could be a voice actor, was fun
Also just remembered I did Connors speech, sucks that it was cut from the game
Wow that's awesome man. And did you pursue voice acting?
@@MantisManGaming working on it, few of my friends are in a band and ask for a speech to be recited usually biblical quotes or originals, did acting on stage for awhile, but prefer just using my voice.
Another friend of mine wants to start working on an indie game asked for my help when he does start
Wow that's awesome man! Wish you all the best with it!
@@MantisManGaming thanks man! Wish u all the luck with your future too!
The kenway story was so good it was about a man who was once a drinker then became a captain and finally ended up to be a great father along that entire stories he made gr8 speeches no wonder it's the best ac character not as good as Ezio but let's be honest if anyone could match Ezio it's Edward kenway
Aya had such a strong speech in origins (personal fave) BUT here me out, what if the creeds we feel more pull towards and our fave games have a deeper meaning more so of personally understanding that character
Ezio is such a great man. His last speech was so inspiring.
Connor deserves another game
Altair is my favourite
Connors speech is so underrated i wish it was in the game
Ezio is not only one of the greatest Assassins, he's one of the greatest characters of all time.
In the end, Arno and Shay's speech was basically the same. That's what connects the two.
If you didn't cry during at any one of these speeches, what sorcery did you have on yourself?😂
"No books no wisdom just you fretello mio" my fav. words of Ezio.
Bayek's "I never sleep" is such a good moment, the voice acting in that was phenomenal.
My most fav speech is the assassin's creed embers one!
Nice! Yeah I like that one a lot too.
I love it when i talk to socrates in odyssey
Bayek is just better
Love Bayek so much too man!
The RPG finish the game for OG's...
This is Sad...
@@Ratchet2006 it has more hits now than ever, the series is better now than it has ever been. Don't generalise cause alot of us "ogs" got bored of how the game became repetitive and saw this change as a revival
