Randolph(sung by a choir of angels!)Scott, ala Blazing Saddles! Six shooters that never ran out of bullets! And the slow burn of a woman scorned! This 1939 movie had it all! Thanks, DPB for posting this shootout with morals(?)!!
Never let it be said that Hollywood doesn't know a good yarn when it sees one! It's worth a Sunday afternoon watching the most famous screen treatments of the shootout at the OK Corral in Tombstone AZ just to check out the VERY varying interpretations of Doc Holliday by Victor Mature, Kirk Douglas and Val Kilmer...but don't leave out Cesar Romero's in this vastly underrated (and all but forgotten) B plus plus effort by cult/auteur director Allan Dawn, who loads his movie with action, humor, visual flair (even the rear projection stuff is excellent) and an unforgettable final shot. It hits the ground running with Wyatt Earp's (the mighty Randolph Scott) unique dispatching of a dangerous drunk and never stops, with a very entertaining subplot involving entertainer Eddie Foy and even a bit of 1939 girl power! Needless to say, there's probably about enough factual information about the event to fill half a shot glass, but watch John Ford's My Darling Clementine for the poetry, John Sturges' s Gunfight at the OK Corral for the suspense, George P Cosmatos's Tombstone for its contemporary take...and this just for sheer fun. 8/10.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Welcome. I post westerns here: ruclips.net/p/PLk3CReZFhoBfEto_hA9PZWUt-9UXOQ2I4
Saw this on TV a long time ago. Have to watch it again later.
Thanks for keeping us up to date.
Loved Cesar Romero in this role.
Bad script.
Doc Holliday (not Halliday) was with Earp and two others at the OK Corral shootout.
Doc died of tuberculosis in Denver.
Thanks for the visit!

I know you didn’t write the script.
But I watched. That’s what’s important.
