@jxchamb That's fair, I don't disagree. Just saying there's nobody left at the company who's willing or able to write a competent story. Gilroy isn't part of LFL so I don't include him in that statement.
What makes me the happiest is that the excuse "don't judge before the whole show is out, everything will be cleared and tied with a bow at the end" - is falling apart. As it did in Ahsoka and Kenobi ... Lesley just didn't have a story. She has said somewhere that she had put "many hours in ironing this script out" ... if she measures time spent writing this script in "hours", not days or weeks ... in a four-year production costing 180 million dollars ... this is evident enough.
One eposde left. Fans can stop telling us to wait. We have seen more than enough. This show hates us.
There are a bunch of people in the comments of Star Wars Explained of all places saying how bad it is & that the mystery fell flat for them. Getting a good amount of likes too. They've got 1 more week to cope & I've got no faith the finale will be satisfying in any way.

@jxchamb The guy is visibly uncomfortable from all the mental gymnastics. The cognitive dissonance must be terrible for the people trying to cling on to this show as if it's been worth their time. I commented that I bet 1,000 credits Headland is just offscreen pointing a blaster as Alex, but I'm pretty sure they've got blocked or something where my comments don't show. Can't imagine why haha. But there are lots of people saying they are disappointed & those comments are getting a good amount of likes. Unless there's some sort of miracle, I don't know how anyone is going to defend this thing. "You haven't seen the whole story so you can't criticize it" ... that argument will be null & void in another week.

And just to correct you Coach: Identical twins have the same DNA because they come from the same egg. Unlike the fraternal twins that come from 2 different eggs. What they have that is not identical, even for identical twins, are the fingertips. Those are unique.
And yet they cast fraternal twins rather than have 1 of them play the same character like they do with Stenburg
Gotta say thank you to Headland and co for making something so bad that makes me love George Lucas SW so much more. Credit where credit is due

I don't think they did a good job of making the Jedi look bad. The witches did everything that caused their own deaths. The Jedi were mostly just responding and partially being manipulated. I don't see the Jedi as doing anything really "wrong" here.
The witches were dark siders. They should not be entrusted with children to warp. The Jedi were idiots but right

Indara is now revealed as an idiot. Keeps the team out looking for a Vergence for months, team starts to fray, doesn't sense the dark side, offers inappropriate advice, doesn't isolate and counsel Torbin and Kelnacca, then agrees to the cover-up. JFC. As team leader she should have high-tailed back to Coruscant and cleaned house. THAT is how effective command structures renew and sustain.
Indara's first decision to declare intentions should have been when Torbin was possessed. That's the first signal, strike hard, take out Horny Mother, rescue the kids, leave. Simple, clear, objectives.

Lesley needed to write the story from the point of view of the Sith, how they schemed, how they operated under the radar, how they recruited and in the context of this they could have shown us how the Jedi operate, what is their role in the High republic society and some back alley interaction between the two groups for some spice and that is ... simple, clear and easy ... for a person who has any real interest in the Story of the Galaxy far away.

In TVD, there was a certain coven of witches, male and female, that are called the Gemini Coven.
The Gemini Coven has this ritual called the Merge. When twins are born in this coven, they are thought to be the future leaders of their coven. The Merge is a ceremony where the twins recite a similar phrase about being two but always one.
The twins then place their palms to each others, their eyes go white, and their bodies fall to the ground. The person that wakes up is the leader of the Coven, and their twins soul merges with the winning twins soul, but the losing twin dies. If the leader of the Gemeni Coven does, the entire coven dies.
This Coven also has what are called “heretics” because they had to siphon magic from other magical beings and objects, since they were born without any magic of their own. Heretics were cast out of the Coven because the coven feared them and saw them as an abomination. These Heretics can become Vampire with the ability to siphon the magic of vampirism inside of their own blood. No other vampires can cast magic, even if they were witches when they were alive.
Now tell me if this sounds like somebody was watching the CW Vampire Diaries and saw this Coven and decided, “YASS!!”

He doesn't actually speak English, I think his whole performance was him learning the lines phonetically & probably a translator conveying what emotion to portray. Not my biggest gripe, BUT where are the droids? They have Jedi digging in the dirt and using metal detector like devices for WEEKS!!! What happened to scanning the surface from SPACE, or using you know scouting droids...

It's the people who made this show's responsibility to make the show have internal logic that the audience can interpret without having to make assumption after assumption. This isn't some art film that is supposed to lead its audience to be introspective & interpret it as they may, it's supposed to be a Star Wars story. The witches are shown collapsed in a pile in ep3, they're not burned whatsoever, just as we see them at the end of this episode.

For 180 mil , all they wanted to do or set out to do is to show how stupid and evil the George lucas jedi are (or were) , a jedi order led by menfolk. and all this is to set up the revival of a new and better jedi order in the planned NEW JEDI ORDER. A jedi order re-established and run by rey ....a woman. This show is just an expensive 8 episode prologue to the NEW JEDI ORDER movie.
