I still remember Billy Graham's words about "Time is short."
"Time for studying, do it now. Time for evangelizing, do it now. Time for witnessing to someone, do it now."

      _______________________________
If you believe that salvation is by faith alone, good. Do not call others false Christians for not believing that, because that belief did not exist till Reformation.
As Paul had wrote in his epistles, that we must love each other and not be stumbling block to each other, lest we start war among each other because of things like Sola Fide and Rapture.
Please brother, I invite you in good faith in Christ, to think about this.
"17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only." (James 2:17-24 KJV)
It's true that we are saved by faith and that it is a gift from God, the grace from God, but it's not by faith alone.
There are two types of deeds:
1)physical -> feed the hungry, give water to the thirsty, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, visit the sick, visit the imprisoned or ransom the captive and bury the dead.
      2) spiritual -> instruct the ignorant, counsel the doubtful, admonish the sinners, bear patiently those who wrong us, forgive offenses, comfort the afflicted and pray for the living.
These deeds come directly from the Holy Scriptures. I encourage you to take a look for yourself brother.
God bless and have a nice day.
P.s. I really hope you made it this far, and if you did, that you will comment this peacefully and respectfully as Paul the Apostle had begged us. Our Lord Jesus Christ told us to love each other as He had loved us and still does. Love you brother and pray for me.

@@silvio1894I am not trying to start an argument just challenging you to think. If salvation is not by faith alone that would mean it is partially dependent on ourselves. Which is not the case, salvation is all about Jesus what he has done. He lived the perfect life we could never. Saying that salvation is partly on our works takes away from what Jesus has done. It would also mean that there is a line of amount of works to do to be saved. Which the thief on the cross would have to have crossed the line. A man who did no works was saved on the cross. Salvation is by faith alone so we do not boast. If we are to boast it is only about the Lord and what he has done. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.”
      ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬-‭9‬
I wholeheartedly believe if you are saved you will have a desire to go and serve and tell people the gospel and do works. For salvation to be based any our works would be saying what Jesus did on the cross is not enough. Our actions reflect our faith in Christ they affirm it.

      @silvio1894 9 месяцев назад +1

@@cadedenton9892 Didn't I paste above the KJV verse that we are not justified by faith alone, but by works?
We are saved by faith, but we are justified by works and Paul wrote in his epistle that we should "work for our salvation."
From my experience, I know that it is not simply salvation by faith alone. The only situation where it can be by faith alone is that the person who does not have a lot of time on earth left, the only thing he/she could do is to put solely their faith in Christ alone, regarding their situation (old age, medical condition, etc...).
God will judge that person for his/her work.
We Christian did go from judgement to life by accepting Christ Jesus.
But would you say that we are not to be judged for our works because of our faith being justified by work or purely faith alone?
I ask because they are two separate concepts.
If you say that salvation is purely by faith alone, then what about works?
I say: >>We are saved by faith, in Christ Jesus alone and justified by our good works, commanded by our Lord, before our Lord at the Judgement Day.>We are saved by faith, in Christ Jesus alone, and justified by our good works, commanded by our Lord, before our Lord at the Judgement Day.

I do feel like sometimes the biggest vocals supporters of it don't know what it is to actually suffer and for it to be incurable (for reference I'm visually impaired,( because it's gets tiring hearing about when I know as a genuine Christian that my earthly disability will be gone the instant I take my last breathe. They also seem to not understand how grief works for nonbelievers, since the authors behind those books acted like the "left behind" loved ones finding thier family member gone would somehow lead them to ask God to forgiveness. Not saying it's impossible, just really unlikely.

Among a multitude of other reasons, this is perhaps #1 why I don't think the Left Behind series is even a little bit biblical. It demonstrates misunderstanding about the condition of the soul in the context of eschatology / final judgement. People like to think that everyone will turn to Christ once they realize salvation and damnation are real, but we know from scripture that's not true.

I believe some promises to Israel really are for the nation of Israel and not the church. What does Jesus refer to when He says “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.”? Also isn’t the Antichrist going to rule in Jerusalem?

I’m fairly skeptical of dispensationalism, but I’m not very knowledgeable of the different theological views of Israel and the Jewish people. I think that the promises toward Israel should be taken seriously, particularly because many of those promises were fulfilled in Christ. I also believe that the Church is the spiritual extension of Israel, God’s chosen people including Jews and Gentiles alike.
The question is whether non-believing Jews and the State of Israel are part of the spiritual Israel. I suspect the answer is more nuanced than a simple no, and not yes either. I’m inclined to believe that the Jews as a people, including unbelieving Jews, are still blessed by God as descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And I also think the State of Israel still has a big part to play in God’s plan. But I don’t believe that the State of Israel is part of the spiritual Israel, and it is very diseased culturally and politically. It is the Holy Land, but I think the Land of Israel still has a long way to go before it is acceptable in the eyes of the Lord.
Still, I think it’s evident in recent history that God has blessed and supported the rise of the Jewish state, despite its immense troubles and afflictions. For whatever reason. And I can’t claim to know that reason.

I think it's important to differentiate between the event of the rapture and the timing of the rapture. The word "rapture" comes from the Latin word for the Greek word for caught up (ἁρπάζω (harpazō)), which is rapiemur in the Latin Vulgate in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, so while the word doesn't show up in the Greek, it's certainly a biblical concept. With that said, the timing of the rapture is the issue. I'm not so sure that it is pre-trib, like I used to believe.
With that said, I am Premillennial in my Eschatology. Many in the early Church held to Premillennialism, such as Papias of Hierapolis, Justin Martyr, Irenaeus of Lyons, Methodius, Lactantius, Commodianus, Theophilus, Tertullian, Melito, Hippolytus of Rome and Victorinus of Pettau, so if anyone tells that you that none of the early Church or the fathers believed in a thousand year reign of Christ on this Earth, then that is straight-up false.

Everyone believes in a thousand year reign of christ on earth, be it physically or spiritually. Literally didn't know until I read through this comment section that people use the term Rapture to mean anything other than a secret coming of Christ in a pre-trib or mid-trib sense. So ya, Zoomer definitely could have clarified his title in the first few minutes of the vid, and so he definitely didn't communicate as well as he could have, but it's not near as egregious as you are making it sound, and is actually a very understandable mistake in my opinion.

      Revelation 3:10
Because you have kept My command to endure, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is going to come over the whole world to test those who live on the earth.
Along with the dialog before the destruction of Sodom and Gamorrah with Abraham where God argued that he would not destroy it if there were at least 10 good people, then the angels had to remove Lot (The only righteous person) before its destruction showing he would not cast his wrath on even ONE good person, it seems likely if the revelation is his wrath, those sanctified in the blood of the Lamb would be taken out.
      Thessalonians 2:9
The coming of the lawless one is based on Satan’s working, with all kinds of false miracles, signs, and wonders, 10 and with every unrighteous deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth in order to be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe what is false, 12 so that all will be condemned-those who did not believe the truth but enjoyed unrighteousness.
Some take this passage to mean, and reasonably enough, that WHEN the church is taken up people who would reject God will be SENT a strong deception so they accept a lie that explains the rapture.

Though if anyone has a different interperetation please tell me. I would love to hear your arguments😃 In Christ love, Samuel✝️

He's just an ass who doesn't believe in free will and thinks God specifically called him to be a Christian. He ignores most of the new testament and has zero answers for the distinction between the rules to salvation for those pre Christ and those who live on the earth alongside Christ. So due to his theological laziness he just assumes everyone follows the exact same rules and that's that. His understanding of salvation is incredibly limited, but that's a common theme with Presbyterians.

    • @The_name105
      @The_name105 9 месяцев назад

@@kriegjaegerWhat you call the antichrist is from the church.
1 John 2:18-19 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
*They went out from us*, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
The Antichrist thing denies that Jesus is the messiah and he denies the Father. So only the Spirit or rather a spirit. The antichrist is therefore a spiritualist.
1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
      This idea fits perfectly.
1 John 4:2-3 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that *spirit of antichrist*, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Antichristians therefore have an evil spirit.
2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
Mind you, that was all 2000 years ago. Big amount of time for prophecy to not be fulfilled in. Unless prophecy was fulfilled. But what prophecy would take up 1000 years + ?...
The millennium. And that is near the end of the book of Revelation. So guess where we are in the timeline.

I'll be honest, as a baptist this is an interesting perspective.
I will say that I feel very blessed that I feel that my church teaches nearly a reformed theology. Besides the rapture, they do emphasize involvement in communities and are pretty consistent with your views. We even do sacraments even though we believe the only thing necessary for salvation is accepting Jesus as your savior.
But I have likewise heard evangelist who preach a bit too hard on the rapture and end times.
Only about a year back with my walk with Christ, but I relate to alot of your work. It's interesting to listen to and ponder your views. I might even be a calvinist, but I'm still wrestling with that.

Hey question, I’m someone who has quite a passion for arts. For the past few years I’ve been working on music and have been contemplating writing a book and/or coding a game however recently I have been working on my relationship with God which I have seemed to have strayed away from. My question would be: How should I as a Christian write a story? I’m aware of concepts of the dangers of writing secular/fantasy/fiction stories however there is also the “controversy” of depictions of God in media. How should I tackle this scenario?
