      Absolutely! With 7 seasons playing 80+ games, he's one of the most durable baller. They say injury are higher cause the pace is faster now, but there's nobody out there playing with his pace & intensity, they just need to hit the weight. It's just higher income and load managing has made players spoiled and pampered.

      I feel like a lot of people could see it coming. It’s hard to believe they were sitting that many games and not losing some of their conditioning/durability. He looked so great in 2019 because he wanted us to pay him $17 million to rehab in 2018 and then go win a title with someone else. #2 might go in the rafters someday, but not with his name on it.
      Wholeheartedly agree though, ultimately we're better off in the long run. Ironically, we would have supported him throughout this rough part of his career, just not for the supermax. We absolutely loved that dude, introverted superstars who just care about ball and being a good teammate and shun the limelight are our bread and butter. Clippers will never win with their current cast and it has to do with attendance of two of their star players. Its not gonna get better with these injuries down the road, its only gonna get worse. May as well begin a rebuild because this is as far as this current Clippers team is gonna go. Sad to say but i am 100% behind how i feel about this and im sure there are other CLipper fans who feel the same way.

    • @abi2512
      @abi2512 Год назад +4

      that's besides the point. it was a 5 point game without Kawhi and PG, so Clippers have enough depth. the problem is that the Clippers trusted Kawhi to take them to the promised land and it has not happened. Kawhi had an awesome run with the Raps and Clippers thought he could replicate that again. However more was expected from Kawhi, than just what he did for the Raps. Clippers literally blew up their future in SGA(who's better than Kawhi and Pg combined right now). Raps didn't need Kawhi to lead cos they already had a culture in place. Clippers didn't. They can't blow up this core yet because they don't have draft picks and they won't win in the following years cos the younger teams are coming up real fast. This season is their best chance for Clippers to win, but with Kawhi as their leader i doubt it. if Clippers really want another star, sign Kyrie, another star player who takes games off whenever. That'll be real entertaining lol.
