It was just the burned beef wellington, the clearly bad food, the saltiness, and the fact that people beside you returned her food, clearly something was off that day hopefully! You were so complimentary and nice about lots of things, you clearly weren't being negative, but it's a shame you had a fair few off things!
Damn you didn't hold back!! Would certainly be interesting if Gordon saw this. I think he would be very appreciative of honest criticism of his restaurants.
As much as I like Gordon as a chef he has way too many restaurants to be able to keep on top of all of them. At the end of the day it comes down to the staff, if you don't have passionate chef teams at your restaurants you are in trouble. especially since there's a big issue with staffing in restaurants in the UK right now.
Just sent this to the man himself - he needs to know - no wonder half his restaurants are empty - he needs to up his game as there are too many competitors out there doing it better 😂 brilliant video as always Grace - and so honest and fair 👏🏻
His Orlando fish and chip gets bad reviews as well from the UK youtubers. I have eaten many fish and chips in the UK and they serve you small pieces of fish there. Not authentic but posh.
If I were Gordon I would want to know. Glad you stepped up and sent the video. Grace's video was fair and conveyed her disappointment in the food. Should be an easy fix.

I feel like that pizza joint needs more marketing. It should be packed with kids/teens/adults birthday parties. Also Friday night pizza and free games?? Again shocked somewhere like that isn't packed.
Really great video! It's not illegal to serve a rare burger in the UK but most places choose not to as a burger isn't one whole piece of meat, it's minced so it can be hard to get the core to a safe temperature if it's not cooked through. I think £18 for unlimited pizza is really reasonable to be fair.
This is not correct unfortunately. It is a punishable offence (£10,000-20,000 fine) to serve a burger not cooked to medium well or well done in the UK unless the venue has a license certifying their supplier's quality. As you've mentioned, it's due to the potential mix of meat but is quite commonly enforced. It's a shame though for restaurants that can't obtain this license as ultimately upsets a lot of customers who prefer rarer burgers :(
the street pizza place looks like such a fun date night spot, surprised it’s not that busy on a friday with everything that’s included. glad that even despite any of the meals the service was on par at each restaurant

This was a really fun video! I used to work for a big company in Central London. There was a lot of money for parties, dinners, etc. I think I went to high end Gordon Ramsay restaurants two or three times. I remember one that was quite nice but to be honest, I can't remember the other two. There was nothing about them or the food that really stood out.
Please 🙏🤣 "The steak is f**king COLD, feels like you cooked it, froze it, and served it! F**k off will ya". I feel bad because I hate getting yelled at, but those carrots on the roast were door stops. Those onion rings, the souffle, and eggs florentine looked yummy.
I've eaten at Gordon Ramsey's Steak in Las Vegas, it was SSSOOO good! The sticky toffee pudding was to die for and the service was top notch! I even kept the bottle my water came in!
What a complete and entertaining video!! I love how honest you are with the reviews. Also, you are very close to hitting 500k and im happy for you and excited to be part of it, being part of this lovely community you have created, so much positivity and good vibes, you have inspired me (and I know so many others) to bake more, to go in solo dates, to take care of yourself, to be your truest and to always have fun!! Thank you for all that Grace ❤🎉
Hi Grace, I wish you had tried his River Restaurant at The Savoy, they have a delish lunch menu for 37 for 2 courses and 45 for 3 courses. My husband and I love going there and I can't say I'm usually the BIGGEST Gordon fan, having been to a few of his clunkers in the past. Love your videos!
nice! i saw ramsey once in Old Bromtom Road, in a cafe there, this was in 1997 and he had Aubergine. I lived in the same street and unfortunately vomited on the plants right in front of the window into Aubergine. Anyway, had lunch at Royal Hospital Road a few times same year. Nice. Preferre Pierre Kaufman, of course, who ran La Tante Claire. To be honest, I remember nothing of what I had at Gordon Ramsey, but still remember La Tante Claire - foie gras in broth, scallops with squid ink sauce, pigs trotters, forgot the dessert. I remember only having creme brulee granny smith at Ramsey Royal Hospital, and a salad he made of the pig trotters reference. Other than that, remember nothing. So, good but forgettable. Went to Nico and Hyde Park Corner hotel which had Marco Pierre White at the time. I remember having pigeon with foie gras wrapped in cabbage, chocolate souflle, and starters I forgot. Other than those, I went to L Ambroise and Arpege in Paris. Sensational. In L Ambroise we came in time for truffle season and had a starter of truffles simply baked into some dough. Sensational. Had to eat this as the main dish as the smell of truffles completely took over my sinuses. Forgot the main course and the dessert, but a wonderful room. Place d Vosges. In Arpege we had egg with maple syrup and chives, tarte of rochefort and pear, and a fish soup. Anyway sorry about the rant.
The only Celeb Chef Restaurant I've experienced was Jamie Oliver's, Jamie's Italian - it was bad, the food was mediocre, and the price was way too high. I wasn't shocked when I heard that where I live it was permanently closed.
Same here. I’ve been to Jamie’s Italian 3 times, and twice it was worthy of a Fawlty Towers comedy. My friend and I ordered crab with avocado, and there was no avocado. When we complained, the staff couldn’t have cared less. 🤷🏻♀️
Loved this video, please consider doing more restaurant reviews as they are such fun blend of entertainment and interest to those viewers (like myself) who live in the Uk ;)
I met Gordon in Vegas as I was an audience member on his show ‘Next Level Chef’. I’ve eaten at his pub in Ceasers palace a couple of times. Wasn’t blown away. 😊
Exactly how the hell could she say a burger that is literally dripping with juice be dry 🤣 and yeah who needs a burger rare, there’s a reason we don’t have rare beef burgers and that’s because it has the risk of food poisoning.
I've been to Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. They seemed a little rushed and started serving us in the waiting area. Putting me in fear of spilling on my pants. But it improved after we got seated. Then the staff was very friendly and the food was great. I like the idea of pizza on tap.
I think Grace did a great job on this video. And while i think that Gordon is a great chef. Obviously he has other chefs executing his designs. So it's a representation of the team. If he was to cook each dish, I'm sure it would be better. But he still needs to know about these honest reviews and sort out any issues. Those restaurants were empty😮
Venison requires careful preparation. As a lean meat, you absolutely have to watch it carefully so it doesn’t overcook. Another trick, is it pretty much has to be eaten immediately after cooking, otherwise it can bit a bit rubbery and gamey. Also, the quality of venison has a lot to do with what it eats. If the deer have ready access to cornfields, the venison will be more beef-like. If it’s eating grass and tree bark, it’s going to taste really gamey.
Marcus Waring's favourite pizza in London is Pizza Express! (He did that street interview with the guy who asks chefs and personalities : "who has the best..." )
i love you to bits for being so honest in your reviews. I absolutely still want to try out his restaurants if only to taste that soufflé. It looked amazing! And deer is such a yummy meat. We eat it a lot here during hunting season. Game meats are just in a different ballpark when it comes to flavours.
I went to that Heddon Street restaurant when I visited London in 2016 and I was so confused why the service was slow, especially since it wasn't busy. It made me anxious. And I don't even remember anything that I ate there so I guess it didn't leave an impression.
Really enjoyed this video and have subscribed. I just feel on Street pizza that £18 doesn’t feel bad value to me given all those free extras, great service and in London too. I agree Pizza Express is really under rated so if it was as good as that and £18 for unlimited slices that sounds pretty good to me!!
I want those onion rings now! The deer sounds fantastic, and I love to taste his eggs Florentine. What were the toppings on that slice of green pizza, could be interested in a slice of that. Surprised at the condition of that beef Wellington. It's a food I've yet to eat, and were i at a Ramsey restaurant with that on the menu, I'd have to order it. That presentation would have severely disappointed me. I'm not surprised at the oversaltedness of many items -- too many pro chefs and wannabe YT cooks think it mandatory. Less really is more, and those with burnt out salt receptors can always add more at the table. Oh, that first restaurant... Top notch. And I'm glad you didn't video Ramsay; would seem presumptuous.
Thanks for taking one for the team at the Savoy. It always seems the way- once a chef really expands locations they lose the quality control that made them famous. One caveat I found- The Wolfgang Puck airport restaurant in Vienna- one of the best meals I've ever had!
Wolfgang puck pizza at Albany airport was raw. I went up an told them it was uneatable but they ignored me. I proceeded to show those in line and they all left before ordering I think the pizza ovens were not hot enough.
You should try The Rosewood afternoon tea. Like you I love afternoon tea and my son took me to The Rosewood for a birthday treat,The Best Ever. I would Love to go back some day but a long track from Ireland. Love your videos Grace
hey! loved the video. in my opinion, with this type of content, id love to see u slow down abit. I think with the reviews, i really want to know all the ins and outs and it would be great if you could show us longer clips as sometimes its hard to focus with the speed. You put in so much effort for these videos thank you :)
He's spread himself too thin. I went to his royal hospital road original about 20 years ago and it was truly amazing. He needs to pull back and oversee his restaurants himself and you cant do thag when you have so many places globally.
Thank you again for your honest opinions. Lucky cat’s presentation looks good but as Japanese, I can see that the rice quality is not good and it’s pathetic to put furikake on top to serve… the gyoza dumplings looked average and the cold main dishes were not acceptable. He should go to Japan for checking the food standard in there from cheap but tasty food as well as expensive and exceptional food
Great, detailed reviews. Thank you 👏👏👏👏👏. Without a doubt, Mr Ramsey has crazy levels of skills. I have always wondered, though, how that is delegated. I suppose your experiences have provided some answers: sadly, it doesn't always translate! Shame! I would love, one day, to be able to afford to have Gordon himself cook for my family and me. I should put that on my bucket list 😅!!!
We have those chips in Cocoa Beach Florida. They called them sail fries. Because they’re in the shape of a boat sail. So I’m assuming they’re just ordered it through the food and beverage delivery system
I went to stay in his hotel York and Albany, which was really lovely, the restaurant attached was relaxed dining but the food was out of this world. They did have a street pizza attached too but I didn’t try that. I will for sure go back to the York hotel and restaurant mind x
You missed the River restaurant by Gordon Ramsey. My fiancé is the sous chef there. I love the food there but would have been interested to hear you view 😂 definitely worth a try if you get the chance
I think £18 for the pizza is a great deal! It looks like good pizza, great service and all the extras. I’m surprised you would think it should be cheaper to be honest. It’s in London and seems pretty cheap to me! A dominoes is now £23 and it’s a takeaway with no service nor is it unlimited. I wonder why you didn’t return the inedible roast beef, the cold steak, the flavourless salty soufflé especially when the staff were so great? Seems a bit odd to me. That’s the point of paying a premium.
The pizza/game restaurant seems like a good price to me. In the US, the only unlimited pizza place (Cici’s) is $12.99, lower quality than Dominos, and there’s no free arcade games.
Heyy Grace! We went to the Gordon Ramsay bar and grill directly near lucky cat!As a starter we had a tartar which was a-mazing and then the main course came and the lamb that i ordered was very chewy and rare and the stake was not perfectly cooked. It was very mid and for the price you can find better places! We were a bit disappointed
Others have said maybe the preparation of the food was the let down. That's truly unfortunate, but that seems like a possibility. Maybe whoever was on fries at Burger Street is a better chef(cook) than whoever was on burgers?🤷♀ This video was definitely fun to watch, and it was very cool that you got to "meet" Gordon Ramsey himself😀.
Great video. I’m so jealous you can eat as much as you do and stay so slim, your metabolism must be amazing. I swear I put on weight, just watching this 😂

Oh, that first restaurant... Top notch. And I'm glad you didn't video Ramsay; would seem presumptuous.
We dine at BSK & Petrus before… if not mistaken his OG Restaurant Gordon Ramsay is his most expensive restaurant with that 3 Michelin stars
I had a similar experience with the bread street in Dubai. The steak was super dry and gamey and old. However the dessert was amazing.
Love the Gordon reaction!!!
You should try The Rosewood afternoon tea. Like you I love afternoon tea and my son took me to The Rosewood for a birthday treat,The Best Ever. I would Love to go back some day but a long track from Ireland. Love your videos Grace
omg I would majorly fangirl if I saw Gordon in person
hey! loved the video. in my opinion, with this type of content, id love to see u slow down abit.
That Savoy Grill is disrespectfully expensive and the dessert choices even more shocking!
Ive always wanted a youtuber to make a video like this
Great, detailed reviews.
Loved this video 😊
We have those chips in Cocoa Beach Florida. They called them sail fries. Because they’re in the shape of a boat sail. So I’m assuming they’re just ordered it through the food and beverage delivery system
I went to stay in his hotel York and Albany, which was really lovely, the restaurant attached was relaxed dining but the food was out of this world. They did have a street pizza attached too but I didn’t try that. I will for sure go back to the York hotel and restaurant mind x
those green olives may be Castelvetrano olives !
So lucky you got to meet him. I am a HUGE fan of his.
Great video again Gracks! Very interesting and informative. Xxx
its cool that you got to see him -- I can only imagine his reaction if you told him the steak was cold LOL
18 is a normal price for all you can eat
dont comment often but just want to say ive been here for 5 years and i appreciate you!
Hell yeah! Love the long vids
I've never to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, was always curious but have nevee gotten around to it, looks like I'm not missing out on much then!
I’m glad I’m not the only one captivated by Gordon lol lol
The pizza/game restaurant seems like a good price to me. In the US, the only unlimited pizza place (Cici’s) is $12.99, lower quality than Dominos, and there’s no free arcade games.
Heyy Grace! We went to the Gordon Ramsay bar and grill directly near lucky cat!As a starter we had a tartar which was a-mazing and then the main course came and the lamb that i ordered was very chewy and rare and the stake was not perfectly cooked. It was very mid and for the price you can find better places! We were a bit disappointed
This video on Gordon Ramsay's restaurants is first class, I hope he gets to see this.
Great content, matey. The Savoy looked shocking!
Thank you for that video, now I have to come to London to do the same trip 😁
Great video
As a disabled person, I was disappointed to see there were stairs in all of the restaurants! Great video though Grace!
Great video. I’m so jealous you can eat as much as you do and stay so slim, your metabolism must be amazing. I swear I put on weight, just watching this 😂
This would be a great series, young women undercover testing celebrity chef restaurants. Heaps of fun too!
Not you guys starstuck by Gordon Ramsay 😂
Wow!! I hope he sees your video because that’s a shame about the mains. I wanted to try his burger joint here in Chicago. Now I may need to rethink it.
