GRACE - you MUST review/try the afternoon tea at the Savoy Hotel in London !!!!
I went there with my mum for my 21st birthday and it was the most amazing ecperience of my life
vibes, food, service EVERYTHING 10/10
so much tea to choose from and the atmosphere was STUNNING
they even had a live pianist
you would LOVE it
Love these tests, Grace is not easily impressed, but I love the honesty☺️😂 Saw that they had a vegan afternoon tea at the shard, would love to see a test of this sometime🥰🌱
My best friend and I took our first trip to London a few months ago and I had a whole list of afternoon tea places to decide between. A lot of places ended up being booked up so we ended up at The Royal Lancaster (which wasn’t at the top of my list). However, the food and the service was amazing and we were blown away and really enjoyed ourselves. I would love to hear you do a review of the place to see how it comes in your mind since we had no other afternoon tea experiences in London to compare it to and I’ve seen some of your other videos of places you tried/tested
😂 cream goes first then jam because the cream is thicker to spread and the jam just slides over it😊
I am so totally with you on the Cream going 1st. Otherwise you have to put it on in blobs- not nice. I will say that I like to just spoon my jam on Instead of spreading it though.
Grace please please please try the afternoon tea at the Orangery by Sapana. It’s an indian version and is so luxurious! It’s such a bargain too x

Every time my mate and I go for afternoon tea, to avoid any argument, I do cream then preserves on one half of the scone, and preserves then cream on the other half - a bit of afternoon tea diplomacy. Cheers! By the way, the AT on the Sunborn Yacht Hotel at the Excel Centre is worth the trip to the East End. We were there for comic con and took a break with a sumptuous afternoon tea, impeccable service, just a fun time.

I’m from Ireland but we got an afternoon tea at the D hotel on groupon for €25 each and it included Prosecco! Was absolutely fab too. You find great deals on there. Was €40 of you book directly through hotel so saved a bit

I went for the best afternoon tea ever, not in London, but highly recommend, particularly at Christmas, as the decorations were stunning, plus the view of the grounds were stunning - The Manor House Castle Combe ! Try it it’s fabulous

The best afternoon tea I had was In Edinburgh at The Colonnades at the Signet Library! It’s like a four course afternoon tea set in a beautiful library ❤

If you ever revisit the USA I highly recommend afternoon tea at The French Room in Dallas, Texas. It’s inside a hotel called The Adolphus and its room is gorgeous
Tea in a library is a dream of mine. It reminds me of Alexia Tarabotti from Gail Carriger's Soulless series. I am sad that the food wasn't good and there was a shocking lack of treacle tart.

You might take your mom and dad to the Mandarin tea next time! It'd make a great treat for them. The Library has such a lovely room, it's a shame about the sandwiches. I hope they get the message. out of all the afternoon teas I've had, I have to say my favourite one was The Clermont at Charing Cross. I was able to snatch it from Groupon so it wasn't that expensive, and you can choose to have prosecco included if you drink, which they kept refilling without a problem! so, if anyone's in London, I greately recommend it :)
I think you and Honour or Anna should have a channel together. Travel, hotels, food and event reviews. You two vibe well together and your train ride in an earlier video with the seniors was super fun. Like that episode of The O.C. When the boys go to Florida. Seth and the seniors was hilarious and I bet the elders would enjoy it too.❤

I’ve been to the Lanesborough, and requested tea, sandwiches and just a couple of cakes. If anyone thinks that’s all they require, it comes at a considerably lower cost and was very nice.
The Connaught in Mayfair’s afternoon tea was the best one I’ve ever been to. Would love you to try to see if it’s still the best!

I love these compar the afternoon tea posts or anything good think I just love food lol I live in the middle of nowere even need to travel to get to a train station or bus stop I love it but does mean you don’t have many places to go to

That is so disappointing about The Library! I had the Afternoon Tea with free flowing Champagne there a few years ago and it was fabulous! The service was really really good and the food was amazing - although I had the regular menu as I visited in the springtime. Hopefully it is just the festive menu that is a bit disappointing and the quality of the regular menu hasn't dropped. I guess I have to try the Lanesborough next!
A new place called Kibou has opened in Cambridge and they have a Japanese afternoon tea that has sushi!

you should really visit the afternoon tea at M/S Britannia in Edinburgh!! its the royal British family's hotel and currently a museum with a cafe on the ship offer g afternoon tea!:)

Can you go to afternoon tea by yourself or are they always for 2? It looks like a lot of the things were for sharing?
If you put the cream on first you limit what jam can be added and you smoosh all the air out of your cream and make it nothing except only it’s flavour
You need to keep the air in it by adding it gently on top and the textual difference and moisture to your mouth aswell is amazing

I’m coeliac so my afternoon teas are never as good as they should be. They cut corners and never have enough for me (and charge full price still!) I’d love to find a good place in London to spend my monies.

I saw an afternoon tea on a yacht hotel in London but not festive
I hate a QR code menu. It takes away from the experience plus its a day out with others put the phone away and interact with each other. I know seems odd to feel that way as I watch a video of your time.

I'm with you on cream going first, it makes for a more structurally sound scone. But I also pronounce it scone and not scone, so clearly I can't be trusted.

@tarachristie933 I think people just want to know influencers care and share similar values. Of course we can't change anything but we can amplify Palestinian voices which is the Palestinians only request and try to get our government to do the right thing x

These afternoon tea look fantastic but probably have meat and egg which is not possible for me being vegetarian 😢
