Hello everyone! I've been on hiatus for a year now and I apologize for not responding to your messages. I've been very busy with academic school work (just graduated recently!), looking for full-time work, and I'll be moving later this year. I have not bought BotW let alone Nintendo Switch yet, but based on early music reviews I've read from users, they're saying it's subtle, minimalistic, and "non-memorable." That's not good... for a medley. I'll have to play it and hear for myself. Without further ado, I just wanted to let everyone know I'm now arranging the sequel. Like this medley, it will also be seamless between themes. You'll get to hear some gems in there from underrated games of the series as well!

Nintendo has forgotten it even exists at this point, and I really want myself a good dose of Mute City, Big Blue, Shotgun Kiss, Captain Falcon's Theme, and others... [If you don't have a singing part for Captain Falcon's Theme, It doesn't count])

Also, there are a few specific sections I'm trying to fill in, if you see a (???) in my timestamps. There used to be annotations with the exact list, but the annotations disappeared a few years back, so I'm trying to recreate them. If you can fill in any of the gaps, I'd love to have some help!
I've decided to do a remake of this medley using realistic-sounding instruments. I've also decided to make a part 2 sequel to it (and maybe part 3 and 4) to cover other songs not used. It will be their 30th anniversary next year and I believe I should pay them a tribute for this wonderful series. In order to ensure quality release, I will set up a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter or Indiegogo to fund a small bedroom studio, audio mastering, and to produce CDs and vinyls. I recommend saving up to pledge at least $100 USD because you'll get the sheet music, which you can get local musicians to play it. Campaign will begin end of this year or early next year.
Meika-Chan I almost forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me. If there's unique music for it I'd find a way to add it. I hope it isn't a rehash from aLttP.
I personally think this is the best medley of Zelda pieces ever created. It makes Nintendo's 25th anniversary track look so lacking. Thanks so much for creating it, and if there's a possibility of another one, maybe with pieces from other games included, I'll definitely make a donation.
I'm still here! There's a lot of work that goes into a seamless medley. It's not as quick as a non-seamless medley unfortunately. The medley is at least 15 minutes so please bear with me!

I will wait until the day I die to see you release a new Zelda medley. This is by far the best you can find on RUclips and to this date still. I have listened to this for the past 8 years or so. There hasn't been anything close to it. If you release something now it should be pretty much bound to be perfect, that is if you haven't stopped making music by now...
I agree. There has been like a year since I've last listened to this medley, but I used to do it all the time a few years ago. The feeling I'm getting while listening to it is amazing. Waiting for DDR5 RAM to be released in the next few years. I'll need 64 GB of RAM to finish it. I maxed out 24 GB and it's crashing a lot. It's too epic for my computer to handle 😭

Seamless Sounds I'd like to hear some music from Twilight princess and perhaps some final battle music? Like wind waker Ganon fight, and Twilight princess Ganon showdown. Also, after noticing the ocean from wind waker so subtle, I'd like to hear a more impact version of it. Maning that I'd like it to be the main part of its section

I first found this video when I was a child. I played this theme when I was happy, sad, angry, in the bath, you name it. It made my love for the zelda franchise unimaginable and I have never forgotten it. If the owner of this account is still here and sees this, then I beg of you to make an updated version. This medley is the best I have heard since it has come out and I could not even imagine the quality of it if it was to release now. Even if this never gets an update, this medley was a part of my childhood and is still a part of my adulthood, and thank you for making this. And I'm sure this is reciprocated by everyone who still remembers this masterpiece.

This. Is. Amazing. The thing so great about this medley is that all music you put in fits perfectly with each other, even if they have a little adjustments added to them. This probably took a very long time to create, and I must say, I am so amazed. This is the ultimate definition of the epicness of the Legend of Zelda! This does not deserve 36,000 views, but 1,000,000. Excellent work!
This mix of Zelda music is by far the best of all themes combined. Nothing have ever come close to this sort of combination. It brings together almost all the Zelda games and harmonized them beautifully. Its upbeat, exciting, and I have not stopped listening to it for two weeks! Thank you whoever it was who gave us this!

Excellent blending in and out of the different themes. I love the overall pace, beginning fast, slowing down, then picking up in intensity. 9:47 onward especially. The counter melody throughout Gerudo Valley/Four Links/Stone Temple makes me stop what I'm doing and just sit and listen every time....

Looks like LoZ Wii U is delayed until next year, which will unfortunately delay the project. Nonetheless, a quality working game is better than a rushed and broken game. Looking forward to hearing some original music!

Wow! I remember when this was still being created and had updates posted on the ZREO forums. It blew my mind when I first heard the unfinished version and I was so excited when you finished it! I still have the v0.1 version on my computer I still listen to every so often as well (I kind of liked the flow without the phantom hourglass great sea). That was around the time I was starting to get into writing and orchestrating music and that was one of the first pieces I listened to repeatedly trying to piece out the orchestrations. Yeah, I spent more time analyzing a not yet complete fan medley of videogame music than I did any of the other things I probably should have been analyzing. I think it being a fan project with midi sounds similar enough to what I was using at the time made it feel a little more accessible, but it didn't make it any less inspiring. Anyways, that was a trip down memory lane for something that just randomly popped up on my feed. Didn't even know it was uploaded to youtube at the time. Excited to see what you come up with in the followup.

This medley gets exhausting after 3 minutes. The Zelda Cinematica album by Sam Dillard (available on RUclips) is far more sophisticated and musical.

I first found this video when I was a child. I played this theme when I was happy, sad, angry, in the bath, you name it. It made my love for the zelda franchise unimaginable and I have never forgotten it. If the owner of this account is still here and sees this, then I beg of you to make an updated version. This medley is the best I have heard since it has come out and I could not even imagine the quality of it if it was to release now.
Even if this never gets an update, this medley was a part of my childhood and is still a part of my adulthood, and thank you for making this. And I'm sure this is reciprocated by everyone who still remembers this masterpiece.

This. Is. Amazing. The thing so great about this medley is that all music you put in fits perfectly with each other, even if they have a little adjustments added to them. This probably took a very long time to create, and I must say, I am so amazed. This is the ultimate definition of the epicness of the Legend of Zelda! This does not deserve 36,000 views, but 1,000,000. Excellent work!

This mix of Zelda music is by far the best of all themes combined. Nothing have ever come close to this sort of combination. It brings together almost all the Zelda games and harmonized them beautifully. Its upbeat, exciting, and I have not stopped listening to it for two weeks! Thank you whoever it was who gave us this!

Excellent blending in and out of the different themes. I love the overall pace, beginning fast, slowing down, then picking up in intensity. 9:47 onward especially. The counter melody throughout Gerudo Valley/Four Links/Stone Temple makes me stop what I'm doing and just sit and listen every time....

The only thing this medley is missing is the Great Sea from Wind Waker. Other than that, greatest tribute to Zelda of all time.
My childhood summed up in one medley. Loved it.
Wow! I remember when this was still being created and had updates posted on the ZREO forums. It blew my mind when I first heard the unfinished version and I was so excited when you finished it! I still have the v0.1 version on my computer I still listen to every so often as well (I kind of liked the flow without the phantom hourglass great sea). That was around the time I was starting to get into writing and orchestrating music and that was one of the first pieces I listened to repeatedly trying to piece out the orchestrations. Yeah, I spent more time analyzing a not yet complete fan medley of videogame music than I did any of the other things I probably should have been analyzing. I think it being a fan project with midi sounds similar enough to what I was using at the time made it feel a little more accessible, but it didn't make it any less inspiring.
Anyways, that was a trip down memory lane for something that just randomly popped up on my feed. Didn't even know it was uploaded to youtube at the time. Excited to see what you come up with in the followup.
