Here is my Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Epic Orchestral Medley. I waited a long time to do this, as I knew it would be a huge undertaking. In this remix/arrangement, I attempted to tell a story, following Link through Hyrule. It doesn't play the themes necessarily in the order the player would hear them, but I wanted this order, as the themes flow together very nicely. Of the 28 tracks I arranged, I have a few personal favourite sections; in no particular order, they're Goron City, Medallion Get, Lost Woods, Forest Temple, Zora's Domain, Lakeside Lab, Kakariko Village and Zelda's Lullaby. By all means, please tell me your own favourites. This thing is my baby and I think several pieces of me went into this. See a documentary of how and why I made this!

With everyone’s comments about childhood nostalgia, I feel kinda weird that I STILL somehow manage to experience a strange sentimental nostalgia when listening to this game’s music, *even though* I didn’t play the full game until just a couple years ago (3DS version)... when I was a kid, I played only the *very first* part of the game (didn’t even get to the inside of the Deku Tree smh). I was only 6 years old (I’m 23 now) and my family and I were staying in a hotel room that had a GameCube u could play on, and it had the demo version of OoT ported from N64. (It also had Majora’s Mask demo ☺️)
Yet, somehow, this ENTIRE game (and its wonderful soundtrack) still gives me chills, nostalgia and a childlike sense of wonderment...hm. I think I’m so enamored with Ocarina of Time because it’s a magnificent game, and not necessarily because of any childhood attachment, since I only played a very small part of it as a kid :P So people who say this game is overrated “because people can’t take their nostalgia goggles off” are wrong. This game deserves every single bit of praise it gets, even after all this time. And yes I should’ve played more of it when I was a kid 😓 But at least I played all of it at some point, lol! Brilliant video 👍
It's because its value really transcends nostalgia. Ocarina of Time has a special, unique brand of magic which has never been captured in the same way before or since. Thank you for the comment. ^_^

I think the transitions and interpretations from Ganons Theme all the way to Forest Temple are my absolute favorite part. Seriously had goosebumps the whole time, the flow and the mood were just right.

Thank you so much for taking the time to put all of this together. I was 9 years old when I first played OoT and it was an experience that I’ll never forget. Your music brought my memories to life and reminded me of what it truly means to be happy.
Thank you so much for telling me this! ^_^ I was about the same age when I first played this game. I had a similarly transformative experience, and I will cherish the memories for the rest of my life! Making this was, honestly, the only way to express those feelings in full.
The way you arranged the notes and instruments in this melody really reminded me of Kingdom Hearts' music for the PS2. Thanks for the sweet nostalgia!

HOLY NOSTALGIA RUSH!!! This was amazing!!!! I like your unique take on each song! One of my favorites was forest temple! Instead of ominous and creepy you made it sound fantasy like and mysterious! I love how all the songs sounded very fantasy like! WELL DONE!

This is so amazing! I love it! Hard to pick a favorite part, but the Twinrova song was pretty badass, the creepy forest temple song.... and I have a special place in my heart for the laboratory/potion shop song. It was a really fun listen all the way through though!

Oh, gosh. It was so hard to choose favorites. My main favorites were "Lon Lon Ranch", "Zora's Domain", "Kokiri Forest", and "Lost Woods". "Goron City", "Gerudo Valley", "Sheik's Theme", and "Windmill Hut" also really stood out to me, though! Even then, it took a lot of thinking to narrow it down to just those... Eek. I need to post this before I add more! This is awesome!

A great collection here ^^ A lot of it was really relaxing, and I had a lot of fun with your Lost Woods section! Loved its place in the order right near Song of Storms, and near the end - both have such a rambunctious quality to them, and are really memorable tunes. Your Song of Storms had a sort of theatrical quality to it too, which I enjoyed. Thanks for the music ^^

this is probably my favorite zelda soundtrack of all time since it was the first one I ever purchased back when cds were a thing I know this soundtrack quite well since I have listened to it for many years now and I love this medley for how some of my favorite songs are played and the order you put them in I can't help but think it is inspired and I'm probably going to be coming back to this one so thank you for making such a wonderful medley I know I appreciate it and I'm not the only one from the length of this comments section

Absolutely magical! You hit it out of the park with this one! Your tone of mystery and ominous feeling pervade the entire piece in such a way that is perfectly fits OoT's rather grim atmosphere and you managed to make each piece sound unique from your other remixes so it is clear this is not just a compilation of your previous works, but a stand alone Masterpiece! Well done!

You've got some great stuff here. My favourite by far is the potion shop; it's amazing. I love the Middle Eastern feel. The Chamber of Sages is interesting, too; it seems like a reinterpretation of the piece as the music for a dungeon.
As for the Forest Temple, it's a lot better than your first interpretation. It does have that mystical, mysterious feel, and it does sound good. There are a few little things that I'm not so fond of, but it's not by any means bad.

Welp. This is incredible.
While I prefer the more cohesive nature and the storytelling of the ALttP and LA medleys (the two I've listened to thus far), I understand that your intention here was not to necessarily have the songs in a proper order but rather to have the medley flow well (which it does!). Regardless, I do think you really captured the spirit of OoT all the same and this is still amazing work! My favorite part was probably the Kokiri Forest into Lost Woods bit; like most of your remixes I've heard, it's transformative but truly captures the spirit and magic of the original pieces and the parts of the game they appear in. Lovely stuff! :)
