The timeline that Wind Waker exists in is quite bleak and dark: Ganondorf returned and there was no Hero to stop him so the only solution the gods of Hyrule could come up with was to send a cataclysmic rain to hinder Ganon’s ambitions. It’s ironic how the bright colors of the game graphics and upbeat nature of the soundtrack contrasts the watery apocalyptic state of the world. What little left of humanity there is struggles to survive atop islands in a sea that provides no fish or sustenance. However there was always hope that a better future was achievable and that’s what this song perfectly encapsulates.

I knew it had part of the credits theme in it, but I somehow didn't think to read the description until now. Makes me want to upload this to Soundcloud so I can play it with my screen off. I’ve never played this game, mainly cause I was born in a different generation. Didn’t really grow up with Zelda, either. But ever since Nintendo Land (Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest), I adored the story. When BOTW came out, I was super stoked! And watching these let’s plays do this game makes me want the game even more! On to my point. This song invokes such an adventurous feeling inside me. Like I’m actually a hero, and I’m important to everyone. Amazing game, amazing song, amazing franchise. ❤️
I played wind waker for the first time during the beginning of covid quarantine... Now it seems a long time ago, even if it was only a couple of years ago. Tracks like this one are stuck in my head like I know them from my childhood
The flow of time is always cruel. Its speeds seems different for each person, but no one can change it. A thing that doesn't change with time is a memory of younger days.
I grew up in with my grandmother and my uncle. My uncle was about 20 or so when this game came out and I was 4. I remember whenever i would hear him turn on the gamecube, i would always come sit behind him and watch him play The Wind Waker. I hadn't had any exposure to video games really aside from this and watching him play medal of honor which i had no interest in. This game completely changed my little world. It was like watching real magic right in front of me. The use of color, cartoony cel shaded graphics, it was sooooo far ahead of it's time for 2003 and honestly doesn't look bad to this very day. When i got a little older, around ten, I was at a VFW Yard Sale and some old lady was selling a purple Gamecube with all the wires and the controllers and a carrying case for all of it FOR ONLY TEN DOLLARS. I ran to my grandmother and she agreed to buy for me. I bought my own copy of wind waker for the gamecube on ebay that day and the rest is history. Almost 24 now and i still have that case, the gamecube, and my uncles old games. To say this game is SACRED to me is almost an understatement i feel. Thanks so much if you bothered to read all of this lol.

Lmfao sucks for you, the GameCube era was the best. You were born too late my guy
@@olimarfunk This guy gets it!
Easily one the best periods for gaming imo
I'm mad because my Wind Waker disc stopped working and now I can't replay the game on my Wii U
With everything that's been going on in the world for the past two years, it's nice to just enjoy a beer and listen to some good music. I think I may start a new game on Windwaker again in the near future. Cheers.
Listening to this song for these years, and until the making of this comment, I had no idea it was a mashup. I knew it had part of the credits theme in it, but I somehow didn't think to read the description until now.
Makes me want to upload this to Soundcloud so I can play it with my screen off. (Giving credit and linking this video in the description is a given.)
That is, if you care if I do just that or not.
lol sameeeeeeeeeee xddddddddddd
I legit thought this was verbatim what they played in the game. Goes to show the quality I suppose.
Admit it. All your problems went away, even for a moment
This is really well mixed, great work :D
The Great Blue was amazing to explore!
Just got done beating Wind Waker again on my OG GameCube. Much love
I plan to play wind waker for the very first time after I finish ocarina of time and majora’s mask. The soundtrack for wind waker sounds harmonious, which makes me excited to play!
if you don't play this at my funeral I'm not going.
This song I would delicate it to my step dad rip old man wish u were here hurts so much but I know ur in a better place
Play them by yourself using emulators
I played wind waker for the first time during the beginning of covid quarantine... Now it seems a long time ago, even if it was only a couple of years ago. Tracks like this one are stuck in my head like I know them from my childhood
The flow of time is always cruel.
Its speeds seems different for each person, but no one can change it.
A thing that doesn't change with time is a memory of younger days.
Windwaker had the coolest Celtic sounding music
This song will be perfect for alarm clock when you going to a road trip we wake up at morning for good adventure is on ahead
Thanks so much if you bothered to read all of this lol.
the happiness that this gives me...
remember those days when games showed you a sneakpeek about what was awaiting for you on the game if you was on the start menu without pressing nothing?
It's enough to make a grown man cry.
And that's okay!
Earth God's Lyric: set a custom speed at 0.65x to hear the original piece
Wind God's Aria: Normal speed
I adore this game. It's surreal to me that I now work at Nintendo after spending my whole life loving the company. Dream come true
Prove it or fake
@@ClintSky-ee8xb people work at Nintendo. Is it that hard to believe?
bro I think ur my cousin or uncle XD
I love the wind god melodi
DANG YOU MADE THIS????? you talented dude. Damn this awsome like-- you don't even--
I love playing this game too
Love this music. Just beat Windwaker for the first time and it was pretty amazing. Kinda feel bad for Ganondorf though.
Mika Aoife that must've been his worst moment ever he literally let toon link live just to make a wish and then the king of red lions was first to make a wish and right after he gets killed by toon link and Zelda that would honestly make me rage
@@saraskyline8331 I think I would have too.
@@saraskyline8331 ikr. Ganondorf totally deserved that W at the end but the king is a sore loser who use hacks to win.
Don't worry ganon got revenge in botw
@@kynanaliyusuf358 nope, that Ganon was permanently dead in that timeline. That was the last of him for good.
The only bad guys after him was Bellum, and Malladus.
Thank you, just thank you. 😭💙💚💙💚
The only things this wallpaper is missing are the Fairy Queen and Outset Island.
This is brilliant. There isn't anything else that's like your mix here. Great stuff!
4:41 Hear anything familiar?
Yes
Zeldas lullaby! The whole song has snippets of zeldas lullaby, ariel’s theme, the great sea and the main Zelda theme!
Dude, who wouldn't know something so iconic?
It's my favorite game ever I grew up playing at it this song give me so many memories
A minute in and I’m crying
Instant tear jerker
This song is my happy place.
I’ve heard this somewhere. Idk where, but before I played Wind Waker. It’s so much like déjà vú
Part of this is what I have for my alarm. I'm so conditioned that I was trying to figure out why my phone wasn't showing the "snooze and stop" icons.
Why this song makes me cry everytime ??
... wow, somehow I did NOT realize these songs were the game's main theme until now!
I love this
