Sometimes we have to tell our mind “Peace, be still” as well. Just yesterday I was asking which way, east or west, should be camp nearby, or go elsewhere. RIght after I said to my wife, “we can’t find anyone to register with, so I guess we have to go elsewhere” a pickup pulled up, it was the Host explaining that they had had an emergency. Sometimes the answer is NO, sometimes Yes, sometimes it is WAIT on ME. In all cases it is Peace, Be Still and wait for the Lord to speak. Great Video John, thanks, good luck on the fishing.
I live in Lafayette where I grew up fishing in a lot of creeks, lakes and rivers in Indiana. Great to see you coming thru my neck of the woods. May God Bless You.
I've come across so many people that talk all kinds of shit about the White River, saying its a last resort for fishing or kayaking. Its one of my favorite places to spend off time in Indianapolis. It's not as dirty as people think. The recovery of The White River has gone much better than people realize.
Good to see ya in my home State for a change. Can't wait to see you in the northern IN waters, that's my old stomping grounds. You gotta try the steelhead and chinook salmon fishing during the run, there's nothing like it.
Good to see you checking out the Midwest. The Little Miami River in Ohio is a great one for smallies and saugeye. It just so happens that it's near the Great Miami River and Twin Creek which are great for smallies and saugeye too. Caesar Creek lake is nearby and is stocked with muskies. All within a half hour drive if you go northeast of Cincinnati about 30 minutes.
So fun to see you in my backyard. That stretch of the White River is awesome because of all of the access. Plus that is the only spot I ever hooked to smallmouth at one time.
Hey I'm trying to find out what part of the White River he was on what town do you know since you said you fish it all the time? I fish it and I've been slamming on the small mouths but I'm always looking for a new spot or at least a new area. Thanks in advance for your response.
Man, John, the quality of your videos keeps getting better and better! Love the driving scenes as much as the fishing and really gives us a sense of being right there with you!! Thanks for taking us all along!! :-)
Dude you're a GOAT of river/creek fishing! I bought 3 pack Of Nikko Helgermites and have been trying to catch em like you do. So far just two on the Nikkos but have been killing it with the whopper plopper and chappo this summer!
You stopped in my hometown of Noblesville. Probably went to the Cabelas as I saw the theatre in the background. Ford's was a good choice. We eat there often.
Welcome back to the Hoosier state! I need to get up there and chase some Smallies, those looked like some nice fish! I picked up one of those Musky Killers from Bass Pro last year. I really want to hook into a Musky! Lol
Way to go John think it's the closest you have gotten to my neck of the woods in Richmond hope you have a great 👍 trip catching my favorite fish those beautiful Indiana Smallies be safe and enjoy God bless and keep you!
Great river for smallies and big cats, we have caugh't 30lb plus blues in downtown Indy in the White River. Next time try the Wabash River or Tippecanoe River......great fisheries. You came when the water is very low, come back in spring when it's up and water temps are 65-72...you will slay every species
Well, you made it to Bass Pro in Clarksville, IN. You have to be careful fishing the White River. It is contaminated with PCBs south of Bedford from the RCA/Thomson TV plant in Bloomington.
@@CreekFishingAdventures That’s northeast of Indy. The White River has two forks that go through and around Indy. Both forks are subject to pollution from Indy. The west fork is the fastest running of the two forks.
You were fishing my spot. Me and my brother in law put our float tubes in at that first area, then float down to that second area. Next time your in town look me up. We will show you were the bigger smallmouth are. Great video
Both forks of the White River are excellent fishing. Not to mention the Fall Creek, Sugar Creek east and west, and Wildcat Creek. I like fishing the west fork of White River south of Indianapolis to the Wabash. The Ford Garage has great food. But John, when you are in Indiana you have to eat a giant breaded pork tenderloin with sugar cream pie for dessert. I have fished that same access point many times over the years. Everytime my Grandsons and I go there, we always stop at Cabela's and the Ford Garage on the way home. Great video!!!
You are the man. I watch your videos right when they drop and you inspire me so much. Me and my buddy fish all the time and are going to start videos and I'm waiting on my kayak to come in. Keep doing what your doing man. Great work.
I live about 15 min from there! Word of advice for the future, white river is a dumping river, though not as bad as it used to be. A lot of chemicals and human waste is dumped into it.... So if you walk into it, waders are a must.

I fish Indiana during the month of July when I'm home visiting family. That last spot you went to, with the canoe launch is one of my go to places. Looks like you went up stream, I usually go downstream to the bridge. I get smallmouth, largemouth, rock bass (caught a 12"er by the bridge), crappies, green sunfish, longears, bluegills, wipers, drum, and channel cats. Lotsa variety. Fun to see you fishing one of my spots. Tight lines! @ohdog2

I was watching your video and thinking to myself how effortlessly and accurately you cast without even seeming to think about it and had a thought. Maybe a video about some of your casting techniques? You could go over some of those distance casts, some of the underhands and flips, etc., as well as when to use each one. That might make for some good content. Also, as everyone else has mentioned, your video production quality has definitely increased and of course no one can match your work ethic. One of the main reasons i love this channel so much is that you dont "drag/rip" the fish out of the water (the fight is why i fish 😆)!!!
