hay man, i just want to say that im currently going through all your videos and learning so much. Your extremely good at what you do, so keep up the good work!
i am currently half way through a brick laying apprenticeship and im loving every minute of it. the only downside is that im 27 years old and have found my passion for bricklaying a bit late on, also
being in a classroom with a bunch of 17-19 year olds can be a challenge in its self haha ;-)

I'm 34, started with a landscaping firm when I was 30 after 10 years in working in catering. Started working for myself when I was 32 and never looked back. Rewarding, enjoyable, creative work; building better relationships with family members, while becoming a valued member of the local community; developing skills which I can pass on to my children, as well as teaching them to work hard and be independent.

I would of pulled back the gravel 6 inches or so, to prevent drag up. But looks like you nailed it. Fair play.

Used this stuff about 10yrs ago on a very large gaybellend, we also left it to scratch up next day.....it was a very memorable day I wish never to experience again! We used similar tools to you for finish scrape and wore four out completely!
It looked sound after, still does but we never left any overnight again...
Saying that your wall looked very green next day, didn't look like much effort to finish... Anyway we now scrape same day using lengths of "H" section aluminium.
You did a great job for your customer though and thanks for the day out😁👍
