hay man, i just want to say that im currently going through all your videos and learning so much. Your extremely good at what you do, so keep up the good work!
i am currently half way through a brick laying apprenticeship and im loving every minute of it. the only downside is that im 27 years old and have found my passion for bricklaying a bit late on, also
being in a classroom with a bunch of 17-19 year olds can be a challenge in its self haha ;-)
I'm 34, started with a landscaping firm when I was 30 after 10 years in working in catering. Started working for myself when I was 32 and never looked back. Rewarding, enjoyable, creative work; building better relationships with family members, while becoming a valued member of the local community; developing skills which I can pass on to my children, as well as teaching them to work hard and be independent.
Fair play you never fail to impress with your skills. Brilliant job 👌
Nice job stu.
I would of pulled back the gravel 6 inches or so, to prevent drag up. But looks like you nailed it. Fair play.
As always Fella, another cracking job from the Dream Team! Enjoy Dubai, Four Right!
So relaxing to watch this video anything related to Concrete and brick works 👍👍👍 Stu and His Dad are so amazing they really take so much pride on their work and it truly shows on the finish product.. Like father Like Son indeed Both amazingly talented..
Thank you very much jeanskki, we appreciate you watching 🙏
He's good at what he does this guy love these vids
This is a great idea, didn’t think about rendering stone walls, migh be a solution for my house.
Brilliant work👍. Love the gray. I've learnt so much from your videos👍
I liked the look on the stone much more
I didnt think the stones looked bad either, but its what the customer asked
I thought the wall looked reasonably characterful as it was also
Re Join in ten year's time when he shows you how to remove render to get back to original stone 😁
Very good . I use glue/cement adhesive(Blend Bond), but on stone no mesh. Nice job. Thank you.
Whats the glue cement mix
Like your videos! Very original and good camera work.
Very sharp smooth finish! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
From two smooth guys 😁
Stu is a perfectionist! Cracking job 👏👏
Very nice work you and Kc work together great 👍🏻👍🏻
Rendering mash! I like it 👌
What a mint job
Used this stuff about 10yrs ago on a very large gaybellend, we also left it to scratch up next day.....it was a very memorable day I wish never to experience again! We used similar tools to you for finish scrape and wore four out completely!
It looked sound after, still does but we never left any overnight again...
Saying that your wall looked very green next day, didn't look like much effort to finish... Anyway we now scrape same day using lengths of "H" section aluminium.
You did a great job for your customer though and thanks for the day out😁👍
Great job, well done!!!!!

That finish is top notch, they are cutting a hole in my foundation next week and I’d pay well for a look on the outer foundation wall like that afterward. Keep up the great work.

Did you worry it would be too hard the next morning? Brilliant work, thanks
That's really nice work,! The sunset was very beautiful.
First time i have seen this done. Class job and I don't think its one for diy. Wish I had the skill
Job well done.
nice one Les mate
Good video mate keep up the good work all the best
thanks for watching josh
Mate that is tops! I’m a plasterer by trade but haven’t really branched out into the k rend yet and must say that is a top job, especially considering your not even a spread by trade you want to be proud of that mate, look forward to the next one, atb. Danny
Cheers Danny mate you should give k rend ago its a very good material to work with, thanks for watching pal appreciate it
stu
stu crompton definitely mate to be honest with you I probably could do it if I tried I know how it’s done but just never worked with it before lol plus it’s just having that job where you can try it out init lol something like what you just did would be perfect but there’s no way I’ll be dropping the whole side of a house for the first go lol my pleasure mate love your videos always spot on, you ain’t bad at bricklaying either mate 😉 haha
Nice finish. Best of luck cleaning it in a year.
Looks good. Through was the main difference between this and acrylic texture coating?
Lucky bastard I came back the next day and it was solid as a rock. Had to scratch a whole gable was exhausted
Nice!!
Good effort to be fair I do a lot of k-rend the only advise I would have for you is set a bead to the ground and use the the I bar to scrape back flat bead to bead then a light rub with the scraper and brushed off . Good job thow 👍
I have a block wall will I still have to use two coats? And what k rend is best ?
Looks braw 👍
Nice job, little different to your usual 👍🏼👍🏼
Very nice buddy
K render Is amazing....I'd now put a brick pattern in it.!
Nice video I'm a plasterer but never done krend this would have been a perfect job to try it out, still not 100% if I prefer it than sand and cement though
give it a go its a great material to work with, the hp 12 is better thank sand an cement imo
good one!
That pretend stone wall would absolutely do my head in. Glad it's covered over.
Brilliant job your only flaw is putting beads on with drywall it will breakdown every plasterer I know use pink grip.
Aw Cute hawk too
Thanks for the amazing vid mate. How long after the base do u put the top coat. Do u wait till it sets or just go in straight after?
Should protect that flower bed against nuclear attack :)
Serviço bonito muito bom
Great video could you let me know what you stick the beads on with many thanks dave
Very nice good job talentad
Im a plaster/ Bricklayer.
Im soooo grateful to seeing you branching out your skills.
As a bricklayer, technique is always key. I would like to turn you on to "kirk Gerdano plastering" on youtube. You will fill yourself with technique and knowledge as we all love your master skills as a bricky.
Keep slinging that mud mate.
Cheers.
Satisfaction
Great job , if you wanted led lights would it be better to do it before of after?
Nice one..
Thanks stu , you always giving us good vids and build our confidence for diy jobs mate, you helped me do many projects at home 👍👍👍👌👌
Can't believe they had that wall rendered
Great video stu. I'm about to re render my house when I can buy the product! But you use k rend, have you used weber monocouche? Is there a difference apart from k rend being loads cheaper? Ta. Dave
365👎= 365 jealous c&/ts. You guys are a credit to the building trade. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Which products do you recommend? I’d like to do the same to my old wall
Great vid. I need to render over a v lumpy brick wall up to some existing render that's a good 15-20mm proud. Would you use hp12 for that?
What was the top coat? K1? How well does it stand up to the weather given that there's no copes? Looks great anyway. I can never get my head around this scratch back stuff.
Song s make the work more interesting to watch and give you a thunb-up.
What did you use to bind the trim to the wall? Great vid btw.
Drywall adhesive
Not too shabby
What did u use for the top coat finish Stu?
I'm planning to do a k rend job in my garden so this video is very informative so thank you. Is a k rend primer between base and top coat required? Or is it just an expensive unnecessary add on?
David Carter do a video I’m looking into k rend not sure on what to use yet?
please tell me you didn't use drywall adhesive to stick beads on ?/////
More work than youd think doing it properly, belting finish
Nice k render job looks much better but I prefer it in white
