If the Brazilian national team does not re-learn how to play their traditional free flowing style, they aren't winning anything anytime soon. Their players go off to Europe and get drilled into playing positional styles and that's the death of what made Brazil amazing and dominant in the first place. Positional unpredictability and creativity used to be the keys to every single Brazilian World Cup win of the past! They don't have that anymore. Sadly, everyone in Brazil must prepare for a losing campaign in 2026. I doubt Brazil even gets past the round of 16. I grew up on and used to love their style. It's all dead now. Not to mention their players don't have the backbone to fight through adversity. Plus they are small, skinny, and weak as compared to many of their European opponents so they just can't physically compete. They crumble under physical pressure.
Only way a group can have 2 South American teams in it would. Be if the format was 8 groups of 6 let’s say and South America for some reason had 9 teams in the tournament . Then 1 of the g 8 groups would’ve had 2 South American In it .
