I love how Isaac Brock is able to put peculiarly deep concepts into such an accessible vehicle of extremely enjoyable tunes. The video helps to interpret the lyrics and idea of the song, absolutely loved it. Thank you Modest Mouse! You really do need more recognition for your lyrical ability. He's genius.

Just listening to the words that spill out of Isaac Brock bring me chills. Phrases like "you wasted life why wouldn't you waste death" to "happfuckingcongratulations" "shaved off my eyebrows and they fall to the ground so can't look surprised right now" "my thoughts are so loud i couldn't hear my mouth".... the list of thought provoking lyrics is endless. This song is so full of interesting ideas.

I didn't know Isaac Brock was packin a big ole package
35 years old, was introduced to MM as a Jr. in highschool. Last year had the oppertunity to finally go see them live. Started catching up on recent music by them, and watching some videos. After watching a few and ending on this one I ended up not going to the concert for fear of ending up running around in the streets high on Acid with my pants on my head. It would have been a natural progression and I'm just too old for that anymore.
The part where isaac gouges out AARON Mcgehee's eyes over a tree makes me laugh everytime because of how brutal they made it look? Like isaac really put some effort into it!!🤣🤣🤣 I love these guys!!!

Jeff Gordon Night on the Sun is one of my favorites. *Talking Shit About a Pretty Sunset*, *Edit the Sad Parts* and *Teeth Like God's Shoeshine* are all fantastic songs also and their best work IMO. As for their more recent songs I strangely find myself digging *King Rat* and the *Whale Song*. *Never Ending Math Equation* is also a fun song. There are far to many to list tbh :)

This video was kind of weird. Some people are comparing this music video to "Game of Thrones" TV series. I wouldn't know because I've never watched that show. Anyways, I wouldn't expect anything less from Modest Mouse when it comes to unique, different, and weird music videos. They are creative in their own way. I've listened to Modest Mouse's music for a long time. One of my ex-boyfriends was a bigtime fan of Modest Mouse. I actually like this song. It's very catchy and memorable. I'm glad Modest Mouse are still recording and sharing music.
I'm torn between this, Dashboard, ppl as places as ppl and spitting venom as their best song. They are all so audibly stunning.

What I seem to see here is something like this.
