I love the commenters who think 15k for that is too much, it's a freaking 69 charger, doesn't matter it's a 318 car nobody will restore it to stock. I live in PA that car would sell in less than an hour, I kid you not last summer someone posted a 69 318 car, no engine trans, glass, interior, no trunk floor even the frame rails behind the diff were gone, he wanted 10k and it sold in 30 minutes. I really hate when they say you'll never get back what you have in it. Those aren't car guys, they probably drive a beige carry, it's about passion, if a 69 charger is your dream car and that one is all you can afford to pay to start with doesn't matter the cost to have your dream, if you pick a car with the idea of resale value it's not your dream, your not really a car guy, best stick to buying Honda civics if that is your determining factor.
I'll have whatever Mike is smoking. Lots of fellows on FBBO have shopped carefully and bought very solid, running cars for $25k-$30k. Even in a world where folks think these things go for asking price on eBay (and even when they sell, they wind up returning to the auction block due to shill bidders), only someone who has failed to study the market properly would be foolish enough to get suckered into paying $15k for a rusted out, base 318 '69 Charger. By the time anyone is out of the hole with this thing, they'll be way past the expense of something already restored with a VIN and mill that has bragging rights - and that's sad, because there's nothing wrong with 318 Chargers other than the crack pipe prices thrown on them.
That's all on perspective two weeks ago I sold a manual 04 ranger with a rusty frame and holes in the bed with 180k for $5000.... When the person messaged me and didn't even want to argue about the price I kind of had one of those spit my coffee out of my mouth moments but hey I'll take his money
@@TwoDollarGararge That Ranger is an extreme sale - an outlier of actual value. Could you repeat that sale multiple times over? I doubt it. Just so everyone stops asking and Calling Mike. This is Sold. I bought it.
Already has AMD on the license like it knows lmao
Do you love Chargers, and have at least $100k laying around? Hopefully someone with mad fab skills, or really deep pockets, will save it.
This guy is crazy or what for that price I PAY FOR MY $65 dollars back in the 80 that is the one on the photo I STILL HAVE IT N IS A REAL
Sold
I wouldn't pay more than 5 for that car in that condition. Even though I'd keep it for myself and be buried in her, with what I'd be doing to her, I couldn't pay anymore.
Lol! I understand making some profit on a vehicle but making 14 grand in profit is nuts!
Don’t be stupid and make the market even more crazy.
The previous owner called it Rusty Pig as painted on the quarter lol!
14k profit…right there you have no idea what ur talking about. Not even remotely close
looks like $118 in scrap iron..
Sold 15k
And another 15k minimum just to make it road worthy, no paint or interior 😂
If you can only afford to pay 15k for this charger then how will you ever have the remaining 50k that it will need to make it decent?
Their grandchildren's, grandchildren will still have the option to to finish it. Generational rust.
Why not just ask for an even million dollars
$5k shipped. That’s all it’s worth haha
I’ll buy all the chargers u can find for 5k in this condition plus a 1k finders fee…
Chris knows, he can actually fix them! None of these people commenting can! Time an skill, DD speed shop Dan could fix this in a month for under 5k, cheap as lol
@@junkerup I know you couldn’t find one at $5k but I can’t imagine spending $15k for a shell either.
The only thing I would do with that is pay someone to crush it
