Phan Reg wow Always nice to check out the Phan line always a goose bump moment!! Dci Watch out the Phan line is on the move!! Ladies and Gentlemen and others Keep up the Great work!! All Walk Tall and a Huge Smile 6 Stars for Phan!!!!!! Boston watch out! Crown too.
I have a student in the group this year, but I have been a fan for years as well! They have a great show with so much emotion an expression! The mix of Beethoven and The Pillars - Wow! Incredible!
@@ronschermerhorn Cool. My college room mate marched snare in 1977. I marched Spirit of Atlanta in 1980. We're from the olden days but still enjoy seeing what's going on with D.C.I. Some good, some maybe not so good, but I applaud the efforts of the kids and enjoy seeing them push the envelope every year.
I kinda wish phantom would bring back some of that Marty Hurley scottish "down the line" stick tricks. Look up 1989 and 1990 Phantom Drumlines. Do it, but make it modern. Throwback, even.
We did it in 1991, 1992 and even 1984 and throughout the 1970's of course. As a tribute to him I think it would be great because all of us miss Marty!! Ondraus Cissell 1984 Phantom Regiment Percussion Alumni
Wow! Great to see you hear Shaun & you still have that amazing smile!! I'll have to make it to the DFW Lot next year! I'll bring my crew with me and we can hang!
It's so easy to have correct metronome sounds people are just lazy with the apps they use. MetPro34 is the best mobile metronome app and it has the DB-90 sounds.
Might be the most well blended sound on tour.
That San Antonio lot was Incredible. They are playing great; really smooth and very well blended!
Some of the most on point drumming I've seen!
Those tenor runs, snare licks, and bass splits were so clean I could eat off of them!
That was one killer lot to be in! I had a front row seat! I do wish I could have gotten a better view of the Bass Line, they were Amazing!
Phantom Regiment!! Congrats to the staff for creating a great Drum Corps show that will last in the memories!
This is most certainly one for the record books!
is that SUTA in ASL at @ 13:09? 🧐
Yep!
Thanks for chiming in!

Phan's line is so epic, even Boston and Crown need to watch their backs! 🎺
Simple and to the point exercises. 👌
Sometimes simplicity is the best approach, right? Keep it simple, but effective!
@@ronschermerhorn no need for these long drawn out exercises that sound close to street jams with 2 bars of a snare solo for a count off.
Wow!! Awesome!! Phantom is throwing down!! Go Gabriel Renner!!
Woohoo! Phantom and Gabriel Renner are crushing it!
Oh yeah slice guy
Phantom is amazing!!!
Also LETS GOOOO SLICE GUY!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Heck yeah, Phantom is a beast! And Slice Guy? Let's goooo indeed!
Phantom so locked in this year 🔥
Phantom is so locked in!
Lovin' their snare tuning. Deep and meaty, but still crisp. Wide enough to hide the occasional oops.
They do sound great! There is a some nice resonance!
There's some good stuff in there, Phantom is on track
This is one of the best shows & Drumlines I have seen from Phantom in a few years!
@@ronschermerhorn just waiting on the kick step chevron for finals 🤌🏻
Cool! Thanks for sharing. Wasn't able to drive down to the dome lot but plan to next year.

God pearl drums just sound so good
That is a nice sound for sure!
Makes sense why they beat crown at San Antonio in percussion! Proud Alumni SUTA!
They were on fire that night!
Gorgeously tuned tenors
Totally agree! Those tenors were on fire! So glad you liked it!
LOVE the ASL SUTA!!!
Awesome!

That would be a cool throwback to see some of those classic stick tricks make a comeback!

We did use to have a stick ripple that we took from the 96 snareline. Unfortunately the part it was in got staged differently and we had to remove it.
Man they were bad ass this past year. Good good good
Absolutely! It's been an incredible year for them, and I can't wait to see what they have in store for us next!
Give Phantom some facemasks because they are sick!
Phantom's style is so sick, they're probably making the masks look good too!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yes it is!!
Phantom and SCV
They are two awesome groups!
@@ronschermerhorn YESS!

That tech hitting his sticks out of time is driving me insane
Thanks for checking out the video! I do hope you enjoyed it!
Gotta get rid of that michael myers metronome...
That metronome definitely has a creepy vibe to it.
