I just miss the moment when I was a little girl sitting in front of my window on a rainy day. On that day, the world looked so stunning and I had thousand innocent dreams. Jedediah Smith Park was my summer home every year growing up. It's a relief to see it hasn't changed throughout the years. I hope to bring my husband there soon. Thanks for sharing this magnificent forest.
👍An epic walk through a national treasure. Many of those trees are 👍literally prehistoric. Such a lush and magical landscape. Thanks for taking us along. -H
This is so wonderful to walk with you, with such a steady hand with the camera. We were in the Cali Redwood forest in 2019 before the big loser 2020 year, so now I can relive the glory. Thank you so much.
I just came from your video of the James Irvine Trail. I enjoyed that one so much, when I saw the link you provided for this one, I clicked on it immediately. I enjoyed the music in the first one... however, now that I'm watching this, I think I prefer this one over the first one. Being able to hear your footsteps definitely adds to the hiking experience for us Virtual Hikers. ;-) I'm also using headphones which enhances it even further. Absolutely wonderful video!!!
That's not the Redwood forest... that Endor! ;) - - Also, thank you for not adding music to this. it's greatly appreciated. Love just listening to the forest sounds instead of music.
Thank you so much, it brought back vivid memories of my solo hike of this trail 4 years ago. I never saw a single person on the trail all the way out and back. Total silence except for my walking as you have here. It was a spiritual experience to sit by the Boy Scout tree and marvel at the majestic wonder of these giants. Hey Steve, use headphones next time, you'll hear some birds. Most of the smaller bird's sounds (the high-pitched tweets) are subtle but you can hear an occasional squawk from a couple crows every now and then too. Headphones definitely help, just FYI. Keep safe and stay healthy!!!
This is wonderful work and perfect for getting out while we stay at home. Since you probably cannot film new content right now, I would be interested in seeing a trail walk that splices together the best parts of your existing film. You might even be able to transition with similar parks to make the walk almost believable.
The best about your videos is that they are slow, ( I can slow it even further without much jitter thanks to your good bitrate ), second good optics, third artistic takes.
