thank you so much for explaining this in simple terms, Im set on becoming a ux designer by end of 2024. I'm going to enroll in April or may depending on finances. I am praying on it all. I appreciate your videos!

Ahh yes ! You have no idea how much I look forward to your uploads haha. I just wrapped up my first "case study" project and I am at the phase where Im like "..how do I add this to my portfolio? How do I build my portfolio lol"

Thank you that means so much to me! One tip I’d give is to start building your portfolio as you go along your program. It doesn’t have to be pretty but while it’s still fresh it’s good to get started!

I think it would be cool to see a video like this but showing the differences between working for a small start up versus working for a corporation. A few of the things you showed yourself doing is something that my researcher would do. Could be a good parallel to show the differences!

Hello! I’m thinking of either majoring in Interaction Design or Occupational Therapy, learning UX on the side. I’m terrified about not getting a job hence majoring in OT for the job security, but really I’m more passionate about UX. So I’m stuck on what to do 😢

Hello! That is such a tough decision because the job market is so difficult right now. If you are passionate in UX design I would follow through with that but I would have a stable job, no matter what it is, while you go through bootcamp & apply for jobs. Good luck and thank you for watching!

Hey Stephanie M, I was wondering what you think of ADPList and getting a UX mentor there? I already have an undergraduate degree in web & app design and a UX portfolio but i can't find a job, I don't want to spend money by going through school again just for UX specifically.

hi! I think mentorship would be a really good option. You have a lot of the education and technical skills, a mentor who is working in the field would be a great resource of what to do next and how to best position yourself!

hey Stephanie 😊😊 do you think that a degree is a big deal in a ux ui design career?❤

Nope! I don’t have a 4 year degree. Just a bootcamp and job experience got me my latest and best role
