    I can’t speak for any other industry, but in the FinTech world, UX designers are still extremely needed. I have job security for years to come. And AI doesn’t hold a candle to what a human can do in terms of designing a good customer and user experience

    Thanks for the advice! I wanna try to get into UX/UI design but hear a lot of people saying it’s over saturated but I’ll remember to consider those other industries you mentioned that need designers that a lot of people overlook sometimes👍🏾

    Thank you for highlighting the other industries where UX may be needed, as this wasn't something I'd given much thought about. Your video has been super helpful and encouraging, especially as someone who's looking to make a career shift in their late 30s.

    I started to take this more seriously this year. I dabbled into UX a little bit 1-2 years ago. But it still one one of the careers that will grow into the future based on research. That said, I have been in a UX/UI bootcamp and complete it Jan 2025. There's other industries outside of tech that UX/UI is still needed in. I am confident but won't come easy for sure! I'm going to talk to other UXers. I am able to secure a real project with my HOA to re-design their website. So this would be super good to add to my portfolio.

    I really wish I had heard of ux years ago. I didn’t even realize how saturated the industry was until I started my boot camp and the instructor was talking abt his struggles finding work as a career veteran! I’ve been job searching since January and still nothing

      I’m sorry your search has been so tough 😫 I would recommend looking at other industries like government, insurance, construction etc. that might be in need of designer. The role might not even be listed as Ux but could be a path to look in to. Good luck!!

    Thanks for sharing! Im currently a university student thinking of entering this market and my school offers a bootcamp. because this market is competitive should I still get a traditional degree in a related field? or do you think a ux/ui design bootcamp is enough? 😅

    • @hellostephaniem
      @hellostephaniem  21 день назад

      I think a boot camp degree is enough for this role. It doesn't hurt to have another degree even an associate but not required. I have a bachelor's degree in Interior Design, which was helpful but not necessarily related 😅 Good luck!

    I saw spring board is over 16k
    I just graduated with a BFA in Interior Architecture. I’m very interested in getting into UX design. Are there other ux design boot camps that are more affordable/ up to par ?

    I mean for what it’s worth AI will hit every career world of we are being honest. We see AI in restaurants, technology already making robot waiters in some countries. We see the rise of AI even in the medical field, how they are trying to make robot doctors 😅. Of course technology will get talked about and hit first with AI.
    But it will in time hit and potentially take a variety of careers. Maybe the generation of gen z, is where they may get concerned about AI taking over careers. We see it now in grocery stores they replace cashiers with more and more self checkout. But let’s say we live in a world where AI does take jobs, what does that leave us to do, well we all sit at home n just what live bill free???? That will be the new problem oh we can’t get jobs because of AI taking them, that would be an interesting world to live in
