The Göktürk empire was founded in 551 AD, Rome was founded near the river Tiber in 753 BC, and the Greek colonies in the west coast of Turkey were founded in the 11th century BC. Which one of these slowly morphed into the modern Turkey? None of them. It was the Ottomans in 1299, or if you consider them a continuation of the previous state, the Sultanate of Rum was founded in 1075 in Anatolia.
If Tzachas Bey had seized Constantinople and slowly turned it into a Turkish empire just like how it previously turned from Latin to Greek, you could make the argument that the Turkish empire was the third Rome. But it didn't happen. When the Ottomans were founded, Rome had already existed for 2052 years at that point, if you ignore the fourth crusade. In the following 154 years, the Ottomans grew as the Byzantines shrinked. There was always a border between the two, they were two different countries that were the enemies of each other for most of the time. What happened was that a country was absorbed by a different country.

Indus Valley Civilisation doesn't have anything to do with India. There is no continuity. They didn't speak Hindi, they probably spoke proto-dravidian, which is why Sri Lanka and Pakistan can also claim to be Harappans. Before muslims came around, the indians didn't even record their own history. Maurians rose and fell without leaving any trace. The first indian state that included all of India was created by the british.

No but the continuity didn't break. Because indus valley civilisation people believe in lord Shiva and by the way we till today believe in lord Shiva the Hindu god.
So we can say that we are from indus valley civilisation
