The artwork and design throughout disc 1 was insanely good. After getting out of rupture farms and stepping into that dark jungle with those muddy orange tones all around... wow. Childhood
wow man you deserve alot more subs for the work you have been doing.I have been subbed and watching your longplays for almost 2 years now.Keep up the good work i really enjoy these and will be watching for years to come.
Abe's oddysee and Exoddus, one of the best games ever for me. Have finished both games many times and rescued all mudokons. Btw good gameplay without dying, must try next time too :)
This game is still way beyond it's time, even "Soulstorm" being some kind of a remake, has never been as funny or as good as this original! Haiku's, exploding farts, Paramites, blind or laughing Mudokons, coherent cut-scenes, great puzzles and sloggies! Damn this game was greaaaat!
Abe deffinately deserved more respect from his companions. He's clearly smarter, braver and more skilled to have escaped and saved 99 others. Not to mention his powers. Poor guy.
I loved exoddus and didnt know this sequel existed until recently. Replaying it on my rg35xxsp and its absolutely amazing. Just like oddysee. Its alot harder imo. You are such a pro!
This is it!!! THIS IS THE ODDWORLD FROM MY CHILDHOOD!!! This one was unlike any other odd world. Has a much more darker and creepier tone throughout the entire game
It's not just a dystopian cartoon sci-fi. It's a world oddly close to ours. (Grim pun intended) Lorne Lanning isn't just a developer. He's a visionary. A man who brought the message even before Fridays for Futur existed. Except he did it better.
I just watched the whole thing and wow, such a smooth run! GG First time I watch this game fully, as well as the first game the other day. I actually used to hate these two games as a child (not cuz I thought they were bad, but I used to be super scared of it and every 'monster' in it, even Abe itself so I never made very far). I remembered about it not long ago and decided to look for a gameplay to get over that dumb fear and hey, closure! It was about time, so many years feeling like that and ngl it was super fun to watch! But it also looks very hard, so I'm fine with not playing it still haha
i need alittle assistance at the 1 hr and 44 min time block, where abe is (the alien like creature), doing a drop and roll escaping the worms and, cricket like insects how can he do the roll with out stopping (ik i use the d-pad down then right), but again, how can i do it with out stopping
Run+Direction. Then you press X on either your PlayStation pad or X on a keyboard. Pressing that button during movement will toggle you between rolling and running.
Thanks for this, really helped out in a pinch, often confirming what I was trying to do was right, but I just wasn't quick/good enough! Must have missed loads early on as I saved about 200, but only killed 9. Might just have to try Soulstorm now, though it doesn't seem all that similar.
hey i have a question ! how do u curl abe so quickly ? i'm trying to finish this game on PC today and i have trouble with the scrabanian temple... at the end It's a run to avoid scrabs and munches, but i can't run and change to curl position quickly enough to make it through.. Hope u can answer me ! Also very nice videos, your gameplay is very clean !
Its recently been revived sort of cause theres a new game coming soon called Oddworld Soulstorm. the story behind it though is supposed to be a lot darker than before.
Munch Oddysee is such a disappointment. Levels are far less beautiful, puzzles are less clever and more tedious, story is yet another "save your race from the bad industrial race" plot, tone is way too lighthearted and "silly". Just not good enough to keep the series going.
Das ist krass, ich wusste gar nicht das es so viele secret rooms gibt, jetzt weiß ich auch warum ich nie alle gerettet habe😣. Aber hey, Hut ab, du spielst als würdest du nix andres tun! Awesome!
This game is my game meories of all time will always be I love this game finished 2 times its a masterpiece! Music, puzzles, platforming, levels etc... I love this more than number 1 and cool colors disc too;)
I just wanted to mention that you can get the PC version of this game from GOG which works a little better the ePSXe because it doesn't use 2D filters.
God damn I want a fresh PS 1 version of this just because I *love the loading sound* every time you go in a door that takes you to another path or level.
Random question, but when escaping the boiler area of Soulstorm Brewery, does anyone know what the room that is shown briefly with three UXB mines and a portal before the exit portal room out of the brewery is?

You played this game absolutely flawless! Good work
I remember watching my older brother play this game! I'm currently playing Abe's Odyssey on xb1. Watching this gave me chills, you played amazingly!
The artwork and design throughout disc 1 was insanely good. After getting out of rupture farms and stepping into that dark jungle with those muddy orange tones all around... wow. Childhood
No RuptureFarms in this game. They were shut down in Oddysee.
@@Cobalt_Spirit and then later in New n Tasty remastered game of oddysee
NNT is a full-on remake. Fans of the original don't seem to appreciate the new delayed, floaty controls.
i looked up pro in the dictionary and it had a link to this video
꧁Mike Sully꧂ You've said that in multiple videos. We get it, you're cool
it's because of me
I looked up retard and it had a link to your profile
Very well played. One of my favourite games growing up.
One of my favorite games ever made. The story, world, and atmosphere is just unforgettable! And it's nice to have a name the same as a main character
wow man you deserve alot more subs for the work you have been doing.I have been subbed and watching your longplays for almost 2 years now.Keep up the good work i really enjoy these and will be watching for years to come.
Michael Stiles Thanks!
Abe's oddysee and Exoddus, one of the best games ever for me. Have finished both games many times and rescued all mudokons. Btw good gameplay without dying, must try next time too :)
i love these games so much, you make it look so easy, but its all about your timing, i die so much, but i get there in the end. love it
This is all time classic game, the graphics and puzzles are timeless.
I watched the whole vid and it was all so amazing! good job!
26:43 I like how the blind mudokons still know where to stop at the wheel lever 😂
I love watching a pack of mudokons sneaking past a single slig, it's quite amusing.
Abe deffinately deserved more respect from his companions. He's clearly smarter, braver and more skilled to have escaped and saved 99 others. Not to mention his powers.
Poor guy.
I loved this game as a child and it’s really nice to see it again, Thank you.😊
thank you for reminding childhood
Beautiful Russian
Thanks for the video. It helped me rescue all of them just tonight..
Also, I noticed your "Employees in Bewery" was stuck at 90, just like me.....!
Literally my favorite video game of all time
I love the fact you left in the intro. Brings back so many memories. Well done.
"Follow me!"
God I'm having flashbacks to me playing this game and cheating my way through. That's how you did it back then!
I loved exoddus and didnt know this sequel existed until recently. Replaying it on my rg35xxsp and its absolutely amazing. Just like oddysee. Its alot harder imo. You are such a pro!
one of the best old games ever..........one of my first game in pc...............
Except he did it better.
love your channel bro keep it going.
This gives good memories I didn't even see half the stuff I missed back then
Thank you as this takes me back to my younger days of when I was 8 or 9 years old and now I'm a grown man as I'm going on 30
Just started playing this first time since it came out. I have beaten the Mudanchee and Mudomo levels. This game is no joke!
"So sit down an shaddap!"

I just watched the whole thing and wow, such a smooth run! GG
First time I watch this game fully, as well as the first game the other day.
My childhood game!! Oddworld has a lot to offer.
My dad let me play it as I was 4 years old. Only now I realise what kind of scary game it was
When gaming becomes art!
what do you consider art
@@anapaularochacampos6738 this game
Man this game sure is beautiful
Love the whole Vyker Labs coming soon reference to Munch's Oddysee
I remember playing this game when i was a kid, and now after years of searching I can play this once more ( sorry for any grammar mistakes )
absolutely masterful
i just noticed the fact that in this game there's a total of 301 mudokons to save... but that blind one just died in the cinematic
R I P blind one...
It's so great possessing the Glukkons; their walking makes a xylophone sound.
Best longplay ever!
Outstanding
i need alittle assistance at the 1 hr and 44 min time block, where abe is (the alien like creature), doing a drop and roll escaping the worms and, cricket like insects how can he do the roll with out stopping (ik i use the d-pad down then right), but again, how can i do it with out stopping
Run+Direction. Then you press X on either your PlayStation pad or X on a keyboard. Pressing that button during movement will toggle you between rolling and running.
I was just thinking about this game the other day lol. Amazing playthrough 🙏
A Slig disliked this video.
Funimation Hater why! sligs are cool
Rai Music Lover 9 glukkons dislike the video
Haha
I can't wait till the new one comes out 😂😂
D2k Vision oddworld soulstorm??????
Back then it would be nat
Thanks for this, really helped out in a pinch, often confirming what I was trying to do was right, but I just wasn't quick/good enough! Must have missed loads early on as I saved about 200, but only killed 9. Might just have to try Soulstorm now, though it doesn't seem all that similar.

Abe: Hey Guys!
Sligs: Wha-
Abe: (Farts and Chants)
Sligs: (Panic)
I got destroyed in this game as a kid thank you for this
I'm never tooting ever again.
Суппер!!!!! прошел игру от начала до конца!!!!!!!!!!
hey i have a question ! how do u curl abe so quickly ? i'm trying to finish this game on PC today and i have trouble with the scrabanian temple... at the end It's a run to avoid scrabs and munches, but i can't run and change to curl position quickly enough to make it through.. Hope u can answer me !
Also very nice videos, your gameplay is very clean !
On PC default keybinds (at least for the first game) it was running and then pressing X. Pressing it toggles between rolling and sprinting.
I have such good memories of this, wow
I only had this on demo only my old school friend had the full game and played it together
LE MEILLEUR DES MEILLEURS DES MEILLEURS JEUX DEPUIS LA CRÉATION DE LA PS1 CE JEUX EST UNE LÉGENDE 👍👏
wonder why this franchise died off, from what I remember Oddworld and Exodus were succesful games back in the day
It didn't exactly die off. store.steampowered.com/app/314660/
But Munch's Oddysee didn't have the same feeling to it.
took years for them to do that though and imo it did not live up to or feel like the origional despite the glaring similarities it just felt cheap :/
Dfactor Longplays i know
Its recently been revived sort of cause theres a new game coming soon called Oddworld Soulstorm. the story behind it though is supposed to be a lot darker than before.

I keep forgetting, but that was either the backtracking area if you haven't fulfilled the conditions or it's the bad ending area.
Oh GLOB this brings back so many memories... Old PS1 game, I just loved waiting until the game loaded up a new level with the eerie sound xd
I have so many emotions right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near time to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. my have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life.
