I gotta say I was absolutely loving it. Flew about 10 packs, then when I landed the last time my analog video screen went black and the drone hasn't worked since. There's only a solid red light on the fc and the esc isn't chiming when I plug in.. Any idea what's wrong? I'm desperate for help..
LIked it and commented just to keep you guys coming on my feed :) I love this petrel whoop. I have the drashark and just love it. The 1s flies like a 2s with those beefy motors.
Bought such quad for myself. Really nice little quad. If you flash bluejay to 48kHz it significantly increase flight time. Also changed props to gemfan tribades to increased efficiency. Motor sounds super smooth
Thanks Justin, I recently subbed & picked up this RTF kit based on this review, and I am glad I did! Unboxed it today & tried DRL for the first time, using the C1 remote. After 2 hours of that, I took the Petrel85 out to a local public school and had a great flight with both packs! I am an absolute FPV novice but I can tell that it is a good quality kit, minus the goggles. They are usable for me but I understand what you mean by the limitations. Will have to upgrade those eventually, but I did find them good enough for now & they are pretty intuitive to just plug n' go. Waiting another week or so for my Air65 to show up now haha, appreciate the reviews!
Would you recommend this beginner kit or the sub250 whoopfly16 kit I want to get into fpv and have been looking for beginner kits and those two are the two I’ve been looking at most for good price/overall performance.

Yeah man that was fun. Shit is crazy right now. But I have some really cool RC trucks up next. It’s nice to take a break from flying and just do redneck 4x4 stuff
