It came with a smart battery charger, three batteries (93 minute flight time with all 3) extra blades, a nice carrying case, all for $279 plus tax!! I am very happy with it, and was glad to see this video showing me features I didn't even realize it had! Thanks!
Great video. Thanks! I bought one a few weeks ago and LOVE it. Just went on a range test, through trees etc, and made it over a mile in a mixed residential / farming town. If anyone wants to see the flight, search on '1.6 km death flight' and you'll find it. lol. BTW, as noted below, there's a setting to disable both, the nags on how to fly, and the RTH beep, Also, you can silence any alert with a short press of the power button :)
Great video my friend! I just got a Potensic Atom last month. As a drone newbie, I really like the Return To Home feature especially when I lost sight of it and got panicked! LOL 😂
There's an option to silence the beeping for RTH, and it dropped out of sport mode when you got low. You can set the RTH altitude, and there's an option that has to be unchecked every time to use that selected height. The weather has not been good enough where I am for me to ever fly mine outside. Works well indoors though.
@@dronecamps i was looking for a way to open the controller to get to the beeper but I think it sonicly sealed so needs to be cracked open but sometimes its sealed in a way you have to destroy the housing to get to the electronics, it aint worth it. Luckily they now have an update where you can turn off the beeping by quick click on the controller power button. hallehuya
I have a dji mini and I love this one more. The video is on par but my biggest reason is no GEOFENCING. I've been many places where drones are allowed on vacation and have been blocked by or asked to get permission with dji app. With this I fly where I want when I want. If you compare apples to apples any dji in this price range you won't get obstacle avoidance. And most of your cons will go once you learn the app. All cinematic modes work great too.
I agree 100%. Those are my reasons too. Especially here in Florida where I live in St Pete. The DJI app won't let me fly in 90% of places known for drone flights. But I'm hopeful Potensic never ever adopts geo fencing for anything other than a suggestion and not a limitation.
I dig this drone compared to a DJI Mini 2 or 3 just for the price the tracking feature video quality extra batteries a better carry bag it's a no brainer! I got mine yesterday haven't had a chance to fly it but I'm excited to!
I'm pretty amazaed with one click that you can choose any 1-3 options of 5 options...circling , boomerang, etc . feature we cannot see in DJI Air, mini, mini pro...great drones and without GEOFENCING is a Great favor

Got this as a Christmas gift. First drone ever. I know absolutely nothing about drones overall. I charged it up, watched the instruction video and started flying immediately. It's wicked fun.
there are follow me modes / circle mode etc on the drone, it's under the record button. The SE is a slightly more basic drone that doesn't have a 3 axis gimble.

I just got the Autel Evo Lite +, Premium Bundle & I ordered the Potensic Atom 3 Axis Gimbal Fly More Combo last Friday. I wanted a few decent drones without Geofencing. The only reason I bought a Mini 3 & Mini 3 Pro is because my wife took over my Mimi 3 pro, as soon as I got my Mini 4 Pro lol.

I have this drone and it’s a great drone for the price. I had a crash and it’s out for repair. I think you need to update it. You can have a silent return to home. The more you use it the more accurate the return to home is. It’s fast and the picture quality is pretty good.
Regarding air traffic, I fly this drone with a tablet and use flightradar24 on my phone. This way I can see any inbound aircraft closing in on my location and what altitude they're at.
This looks like a fun little camera drone, is there a big difference in the Atom and the Atom SE aside from price ? I’m a novice but I have flown some drones in the past, I’ve always wanted another drone but strictly for FUN , would either of these be a good option for a novice ? I’m not into FPV or even filming I just want something fun to fly that is easy to control and not too fast so I can learn at my own pace.

I use a holystone hs600 but my 250g is a Holystone hs360se. I think the Atom will be replacing my Hs369se. I have only been out flying 4 times so new at drone flying.

Good coverage. The thing that concerns me about this and many other affordable 'consumer' drones are the smart batteries. If this company disappears in the next 6 months and one needs more batteries, the drone becomes e-waste very soon.
I see your point. But Potensic has been around for 5 years or more. Both Holy Stone and Potensic are the 2 main sub-Dji brands on Amazon. They’re not going anywhere anytime soon.
Well I have a DJI Mavic Air and let the batteries sit for year and DJI designed them so they will not charge without operating/surgery on the battery. So i have 3 good batteries with little flight time that are pretty much e-waste. It's a really scumbag move by DJI. Buying new batteries having the BATTERIRS Repaired and buying a new drone all cost about the same. I decided to buy a used Potensic Atom 3 axis with fly more on EBAY. Maybe some day ill befriend someone who will salvage my batteries.
Drone tbh is pretty cool... RUclips videos don't do it any justice... My own video from the drone are actually amazing... Down fall is any inference in city's the range isnt good... Out in the open it's cool
Sounds like a great drone for the price but before ppl start saying this is better than DJI, you must also factor in that the DJI Mini 3 gets a larger 1/1.3" image sensor at a bright F1.7 aperture, the Potensic Atom gets a much smaller 1/3" image sensor plus a even less bright F2.2 aperture so on paper DJI definitely wins in the camera department
