This was a really interesting post, Zak and Bree! And the thumbnail makes Inertia look like she's the size of an Irish Wolfhound! Not only did you fit in great dog training, you also fit in a bit of information about other animals and our country. Great job! I thoroughly enjoyed this post.
It's dog training and National Geographic all at once! Seriously, I was experiencing Wild Kingdom flashbacks. Not sure if you guys get the reference as I'm a decade plus your senior. 😉 Great episode, guys!
Love seeing you and Bree training the dogs together and talking together about the road trip and the dog training it's really refreshing. I love this series where you're traveling, stopping at different sites hanging out in the trailer which is a cool trailer by the way. And just seeing how you are handling and training the dogs. I wish this series could continue for a very long time the travel part makes it so interesting and enjoyable. All right guys see you in the next one. Thank you for making the post I would have not seen this video.
What is the max time should spend training my puppy at any one time? And how many treats wud be considered the limit per training session? What do you advise for motion sickness for the puppy while driving?
this might be my favourite episode yet! the sheer variety of experiences Inertia and Veronica get to experience makes me want to make plans for when i get my future puppy so that it’ll be able to enjoy the world like that. i also love birdwatching, so being able to have a dog calmly around wildlife would be so amazing.
It’s a pasque flower. Named because it often blooms around Easter. It makes me smile to know spring is on the way. But beer wise- go to Fort Collins CO and hit one of our local breweries. Odell’s, New Belgium etc
this is for sure one of my favorites. this video, training your dogs for the great outdoors video, and the survival guide 24 hour ones are at the top of my list!
Inertia's an amazing collie! She's so smart! You can't help but like her a lot! And Veronica makes this episode so interesting! She's very likeable and cute! I can't wait to see her fully trained! She's a very smart puppy! Her parents are amazing too! You both are so valuable to the dog kingdom!
Great video! I love seeing your adventure it's so fun, interesting and informative! I can't wait for Veronica's breed reveal, I see hunting dog in her all the time she's fearless and full of energy but super trainable too 😍
Yay, a new video! It was great watching you work with both of your babies together. We got to see what the final result should look like with Inertia and how to get to that result with Veronica. I hope you give up more videos like this.
I signed up for Pupbox because of one of your videos and we got the same exact toys in our pup box this month!! Thanks for creating great videos and I loved that you visited my lovely state of Colorado! Safe travels!
I was born and raised very close to the area in Colorado you were in. And went to college in Wyoming. The weather can always be crazy within those parts! Such a cool experience for you and your pups!!
I love the advertising at the beginning ! 😄 I guess I would have stayed inside the trailer and rather have had a potty accident . It looked very dangerous how the wind was blowing .
I love your videos. I am working so diligently on learning how to get my one year old dog to do things with her consent via respect of her thoughts. It is such a new experience for me!
I love your videos. It's so cool you guys are full time rving with a puppy like us. 👍 I keep seeing campers like yours and think OMG it's them!!! But it's not. Maybe one day! 🥰
Most dogs are natural swimmers. But it is always good to be there to help them out the first few times so their first experience is not a bad one. My little westipoo likes to go on my paddle board with me.
I love this series so much for so many reasons! 1. Bc we travel with our schnauzer, and this is a great reminder in what to brush up on. 2. Bc HOW BEAUTIFUL!!
What a great idea of traveling while training. I'm still working on how nutty just my neighborhood can be - especially with my reactive rescue (border collie/Australian shepherd) Heavens! Veronica & Inertia are so precious! 🐕 🐶 . Safe travels!
Love animals. Also really appreciate your videos of the nature, esp the mountains, you’re passing through! Plus free dogtraining advice. (Although my chihuahua is doing pretty good there’s always more to learn.) What’s not to love!😁. Thanks guys! Greetings from (a very flat) Netherlands!🌷
The interesting botany you found is a wild growing crocus. Very pretty, but from what I’ve heard they are toxic to dogs. A good “leave it” opportunity for sure!
Hi Zak and Bree! I love all your dogs, present and past! I love how you assemble your videos; how you go over the complete training cycle for different dogs (Inertia, Veronica, etc). But most of all, I love that you don't make it look like every single session should be a total success at every step. Let's be real, we're humans, right? Also, how you show different approaches to practice, and then we pick the ones that suit our dogs better! I'm dogsitting my daughter's adorable, 6 month old Heinz 57 mutt named Helios (Lio for the friends). He was neutered yesterday. He's trying to figure out the cone collar, not sure if it's better to remove it using his paws, or just deal with it! Other than that, this little guy is a trooper! Do you have any video(s) dealing with neuter / spade dogs? I think it would be awesome if you did! I'm open to suggestions, like any special diet during recovery, activities, cone vs. doughnut collar. anything and everything you can come up with! If you made it this far, thanks for reading!
Yes, Subscribe! Their videos aren't just informative, they are entertaining; and you'll love the dogs on this channel! Zak and Bree are kinda cute too. 🤩 "Animals are fascinating. Do you agree? Comment below." OF COURSE, I AGREE!!! 😄
I live in the rocky mountains. What a wonderful experience with and for you and your dogs. I love your films at different places. Thank u for taking us with you guys
Veronika is soooo cute with those little fuzzy ears and her small curved nuzzle - it looks like she has pigtails and a pug nose! The first time my dog saw snow, he got the zoomies, he was so excited! Inertia is so brave! ( And Zak, too😊)
These ones are technically a kind of anemone, but colloquially are nearly always called crocuses (or prairie crocuses). Also sometimes known as pasque flower. They're often the very first flowers of spring where they grow.
@@janhankins911 Yep! :) Sea anemones are in the ocean (and are animals rather than plants!) -- regular anemones are a genus of flower: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anemone
your videos are so awesome. my family has had a cat for 9 years and we will be getting our first dog together soon, your videos have helped so much to prepare. you guys make a great team!
Enjoyed this episode! I was wondering how living in such a close space for an extended period of time is impacting the dogs' separation anxiety. Your commercials are really creative :-)
Thanks for another great training video! I’ll be getting my new puppy in October and can wait to try your methods in training her to be a well behaved social dog. She’s a mini schnauzer and I’ve had exclusively schnauzers in the past. I know with patience and diligence I can overcome the “barky von schnauzer” reputation and have a dog that loves new people and places. Keep the videos coming!!😍😍
Hello Zak! Your new puppy is adorable but I was wondering if you had any updates on George? I completely fell in love with him and he's an absolutely amazing dog. His time with you was just phenomenal and he is so lucky to have had that chance to shine and be all he can be.
I love watching your adventures together with your dogs. I don't have any animals, yet, because I am renting a house and the rules are NO pets. Anyway, I love watching and learning about how to train a doggie, so maybe I'll be ready someday when I can have my own pup. Thanks for sharing your teachings and fun places you're traveling to all the time!
Hi Zak and Bree! I had a really scary day today. Lots of tears. My 3 year old black lab had to be rescued by the police after swimming a mile out into the bay. I had her on a long lead and we’ve been training her since she was little. Only in the last month have we even let her drag the long lead in the large grassy area. She spends most of her exercise in the fenced dog area and walking on a normal leash. Today, she bolted before I could grab the lead and started swimming and wouldn’t come when I called her. She has a rock solid recall in the dog park with other dogs and has been excellent on the long lead, but since she was a puppy, she always was obsessed with swimming. Like swim for hours without wanting to stop and obedience completely out the window. We avoid letting her swim and if she does swim, we have her on long lead, but the bay is no place to swim so we’ve never let her even touch the water there. We’d been slowly working with her and watching for signs that she was interested in the water while training her in the grass and playing fetch. She hasn’t even looked at the water in the past week, but today, it was like a switch flipped. I guess we just go backwards now. No more dragging the leash, and maybe never be able to drag the leash in an area with water nearby. Do you have any advice? She loves swimming so much, but it scares me how dangerous her obsession is. If she ever gets away into the water, I’ve realized today that I have no control over her anymore
Great video! Yay...good husband. We are adventurous too...who knows what we will all get into. I heard you mention life jacket...do you think dogs need them? Ours including Luca just swim automatically.
Zack, which video do you have a guide on teaching a dog to not swing a toy willynilly while playing fetch? My collie loves to just tug and swing the disk around beforce bringing it to my leg and holding it against it.
Hi ZAK, We unbeknownst to us or the Amish community that we got her from, adopted a deaf pup. Do you have any recommendations to help with her training?
Zak, I think the light purple flowers that you were wondering about are crocus. I could be wrong because I only got a brief glance, but Google them and see if I guessed correctly.
I love your facial expressions. Very alpha alpha male! The dogs are terrified. I’m from Wyoming- hopefully you will see the newly introduced wolves ( at a distance)
You guys are living the life. 😀
It's a nice combination of dogtraining and sightseeing . I love it.

i love shoe reviewer Zak! 🤣
the Zak in an alternative universe that trains bees would be ashamed of you for trying to bear spray it!

Zak, I notice you have Inertia on a retractable leash and Veronica on a long lead. When did you switch Inertia over?
Correct me if I'm wrong but I totally get what you mean by perfect.
It's not a perfect dog, it's perfect communication between you and your dog.
If this was spring- those are crocuses!
