      I am really loving this series! I followed inertias puppy videos too, but I really love how you are showing the gradual transition from structured training to real life skills. Thank you for that!
      I also find the ads over the top and corny... but I don't fault you for it. I know sponsors are important- and honestly I would rather an over the top ad that's obvious, than some influencers who make a genuine seeming video only for it to lead into a sponsored ad. That really frustrates me- it leaves you wondering if the whole thing was just a contracted commercial. Make it obvious its an ad and let the viewers decide if they want to "buy in"

      The ads are fun and creative. I did bark box and pup box my puppy's first year. I prefer pup box. I am enjoying this series. Happy Birthday Bree!! Did you ever get the breed results for Veronica?

    I've never read a book so fast! ruclips.net/user/postUgkx1_veP7CApJK_GWy_TczaMciuG64PqJeU Learning about his dogs and experiences was just the icing on the cake - bed this book through and through. We're working with our new pup and Brandon's advise was just what I needed. Wish he'd just come and train for me haha but it's good for us and happy to have this new set of tools to use on our pup.

    I really think it needs stressed and there be a disclaimer about NOT leaving your dog in the car when to hot or to cold. I know some of us know this of course, but this still happens all the time. Horrible leaving them out there in 80+ degree weather

  • @Shutterbugin
    @Shutterbugin Год назад +9

    Agreed that dog friendly places are a must but for the sake of training I think this was done fabulously. Cool weather, close to the car so you can intervene if necessary, quick visit to check on them..
    Dogs shouldn’t be left in a car but really this situation was perfectly planned and I’m sure they would have ended the dinner if necessary. I’m loving this series. Real world situations with less than perfect dogs (don’t tell them I said that), and you have great opportunities for teaching! Oh and happy birthday 🎂🎈🎉

    • @Karrikua

      That’s strange, I have taught it to three dogs and it was super easy. I think you just need to take it very slow, and increase the difficulty slowly but surely. But ofc dogs are different.

Just wanted to say that I got my rescue girl when she was 4 months old and have been training her based on all of these puppy (and now adult dog) videos. I can't tell you how many people say she is so well behaved (she is now 2 years old). She still struggles with jumping people from time to time and grabbing gross stuff when we are hiking so even though she is an adult now I still got something worthwhile to work on with her. I love this format and thanks for all of the wonderful content. My girl Rocket thanks you too!

    I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos. Over the last three months I have probably watched over 150 videos of dog training. I have yet to see when the addresses the issues I have. I am 71 years old I’ve had three back surgeries and two knee replacements and numerous other health problems. I cannot get down on the floor and be able to get back up. I wish you would show what to do when you’re some limited mobility for the owner. I have taught my dog Charlie, to sit , lay and come most of the time. Charlie will play tug and go fetch. House training has been a problem as to go to the backyard there’s a deck and then you have to go down the steps , some days I get down very easily other days I can’t get down at all so I’ve been training him on a potty pad ,most of the time he does pretty good but he does not initiate going on it on his own I need to take him in there and tell him to go potty. Any help would be greatly appreciated .

      Charlie is 5 months old. I don’t have a problem with him following me. What need is to how to train him when I am unable to get down on the floor or bend over frequently. All the videos are of healthy mobile adults. I just would like some ideas to train Charlie since I have some mobility issues. Thanks for your first reply.

    So happy you brought up separation anxiety! It's great to see Veronica's and also inertia's progress from when she was a puppy. Patience goes a long way. Happy birthday Brie!
    The ads are so fun...loved the leaning tower of Pisa. Inertia is becoming a skilled actress :-)

    My 3 month Goldendoodle must be part bloodhound. He has his nose on the ground the entire time I take him out to relieve himself. Even when I offer treats to stop sniffing and eating off the ground, he'll take the treat and go right back to sniffing. By the time I try to get his attention on another treat he's chewing on something else that was down in the grass that I couldn't even see, but not the grass.
