  • Rapsodo mlm 2 pro vs trackman - Raspsodo mlm 2 pro review. I take my Rapsodo launch monitor to the driving range to see how it performs outside and whether it is useable with the driving range golf balls.

Super interesting. I'm in the US and got an MLM for range use as half the time TopTracer is broken. I'm seeing quite a lot shorter with the MLM even when set to range balls. Going to try to do some testing with it using premium balls and see if it's closer!

Yeah I think it is a great test to do. From my testing it did not do a great job at compensating for the fact it was a light range ball that didn’t go so far. In a net it is great though so I’m sure with a premium ball it will work well

You’re right, I use my rapsodo almost everyday. I went for a fitting yesterday, they had a trackman and I was hitting additional 30+ yards on average for my driver compared to usual (shown on the rapsodo).

That’s super interesting, were you using the rapsodo at the range or in a net?

Are you at elevation at all? Looks like you set the Rapsodo to zero elevation and the trackman could be at your current

I am in the UK and we don’t have much elevation at all, I think I’m at like 300ft. Nothing like you see in the US or other countries. Definitely would be interested to test how the Rapsodo makes adjustments for elevation though

The rapsodo is brilliant, the lesson that needs to be learned is ranges in the uk need to start getting proper balls instead of the garbage most ranges have

Yes 100% agree and sadly most people don’t realise that! Also it is super hard to find any ranges in the UK with a grass section to use which also makes a big difference

Its like £12 per 100 balls at top tracer/trackman range these days using 2 piece golf balls. Adding the cost of 3/4/5 piece golf balls in the mix your killing the business model, No one but people with silly disposable income is going to be paying £15-20 per 100 balls on a regular basis.

@@lpcwork for sure, probably only the crazy expensive country clubs in the US could afford that. It's not viable for 99% of places. I was more just flagging that some people don't realise the balls they are using at the range are so different to what they use at the course and that it will give some crazy numbers
