First rock and roll album I ever had was Deep Purple made in Japan and Ian paice has been my favorite drummer for ever and keep purple my favorite band all together
Deep Purple forever! I don't think there will ever again be a band that will rock the world like Deep Purple. Ian Paice have my full respect, like the rest of the band. Love them.
I met Ian Paice a few times and he was always gracious and very nice guy and stopped and talked to me. Once I saw them live and after the show we waited outside until they came out to leave, they stopped and met us and talked and they were driving away and my friend came out late and threw himself on the hood of the moving car as they were leaving. They stopped and got out and signed autographs and talked, That really impressed me because I think most artists would never had bothered to stop. Much respect to great guys and great musicians as well.
Ian Paice has the patience of a Saint...a real scholar and a gentleman...and I want to congratulate him on his full recovery from the minor stroke he had a few years ago..it came as a shock to all the drumming world. Wishing you best of health for many drumming years ahead sir....Rock On.!!!!!
