Absolutely beautiful. I didn't think you would make it look brand new in the beginning of the video. I am happily proven wrong. Beautiful restoration.
Thank you very much 🤝 🤝 🤝
Really god job with polishing plastic. Most people would just paint it and said it looks great.
Thanks friend 🤝 🤝 🤝
Great job. Incredible machine. I worked with one this in 1972.

I have never seen a machine like that. It looks much better than before, and it seems to work like a charm too. Excellent work.
Thanks a lot, friend!!!!

The texture on the metal piece that surrounds the key levers is called "hammered". Your product looks really good, but there is an easier method that comes in a spray can. It can be found online and is made by rustoeum. Hope this helps with future projects!
Thanks for the feedback 🤝🤝🤝
Opa! Alguém que conhece ela. Obrigado!!!🤝🤝🤝
nice
Thanks 👍 👍 👍
just a curious question, does super glue like those even work long term? does it last? or would a/b glue works better?
This is really good glue, friend 🤝🤝🤝
What do you use for lubrication ?
Graxa em spray
Great restoration 👍👍
Thanks!!!
Restaurada calculadora 😉
👍
Nice work am now subscribed many thanks .
Many thanks here too 🤝🤝🤝
I think the paint texture you were trying to reproduce is called wrinkle paint, which is a special type of paint.
Exactly 🤝🤝🤝
Thanks 👍 👍 👍
I wonder why you haven't deyellowed keys. but still pretty solid job 👍
Thanks 👍 👍 👍
@@myrestorations Precisely. Y u no retrobrite yellowed keycaps?
😯😯👍👍
Thanks!!!

What maniac designed that key layout? With the zero BETWEEN four and five??
And the operations. It's complicated ☺️
Made in Brazil.
Sim! Aqui do Brasil 🤝
Made in Brazil… (Indústria Brasileira on the bottom)
Swedish industry
Just to you know, this machine is from Brazil and not Swedish, greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
Uma abraço, também do Brasil, amigo! 🇧🇷
Obviously, Swedish company Facit had a factory in Brazil.
GOOD OLD TIMES A JOB WELL DONE
Thanks 🤝
When you see the tin foil coming out and you know what’s next.
.
I just can’t. The sound going in and out is bad to my ears.
How so
@@myrestorations it was frustrating when the sound muted and came back. I ended up muting it so I could finish watching. Good restoration.
You can operate the machine now
Why would you try to replicate a common, easy to find paint? It is cheap & easy to find at any hardware store or wherever paint is sold. It is a hammer type paint. You can buy it in a rattle can & it is also available as a powder coat paint. Why make a job harder than it has to be? 😂
I have not many tools yet
Thanks anyway. Your feedback it's important 👍👍🤝🤝
UNWATCHABLE due the audio edit. It's like a kid playing with a factory sound library.
What?
@@myrestorationsyou turn on/off the audio track as you touch the item. Therefore there is full silence and then noise (including your AC and kids in the background) every 1.5 seconds. Imaging listen to that with headphones.
@@The4ndresimagine.. And I know this is radical, right? You "turn off the sound". Maybe listen to some "music" while watching it instead? Ta da! Your delicate little ears remain unoffended and you undergo video based enjoyment. You're welcome. 😁
not an antique.... antique refers to an object more than 100 years old....vintage refers to items between 50-100 years old.
