Oh that takes me back to the sixties and seventies when I was a shorthand typist. Our arms got a workout every day lol. You've done the most amazing restoration on this machine. Remington were my favourite machines to use. Well done!

С 14 лет зарабатывала машинисткой, печатала на всех видах механических пишущих машин, затем на электрических. Сначала это был основной заработок, потом, после получения высшего образования, источник дополнительного заработка. Так приятно смотреть, как ремонтируют старого, всеми забытого друга и кормилицу. Полвека строчила, а вот машинку левшу вижу впервые. У неё перевод строчки под левую руку. Большое спасибо за профессиональное спасение теперь антикварного предмета!

The texture on the metal piece that surrounds the key levers is called "hammered". Your product looks really good, but there is an easier method that comes in a spray can. It can be found online and is made by rustoeum. Hope this helps with future projects!

@@myrestorationsyou turn on/off the audio track as you touch the item. Therefore there is full silence and then noise (including your AC and kids in the background) every 1.5 seconds. Imaging listen to that with headphones.
