Good hair advice but definitely knows How's to monetize RUclips by stttrrettching out the intro on ALL videos. The longer we watch, the more she gets paid. That's how it works
My gosh, I'm so lucky I stumbled on this channel yesterday. Today I did a "wash day" routine as close as I could get to what you did. My hair came out amazingly and I've never ever, even accidentally managed to have it look like this (defined curls all over). Thanks so much for the education.
You are so right on the order to put the leave in, pudding , then gel curl enhancer. I actually did it in that order by mistake and for the first time I got complimented on my curl definition!! A female told me curls were popping!!! I was so happy! Even my sister was jealous!!! Thanks for letting me know it's the order that counts.
cantu curl activator lotion + Shea Moisture Curling gel (that no one likes haha) are great for folks that have a hair texture similar to yours. i mix like....a tablespoon of gel for every like 1/4 cup of cantu curl activator lotion...and that amount usually covers my entire head. for this mix...i find that combing the products makes it not sticky and also i dont add any other oils to my hair as the gel has a TON of oil in it....this has been a regular mix this winter. i wash n go for a day...banding at night...and then when the wash n go get ratty...i twist...leave those in for a bit (1-3 days) then wear a twist out....then i either retwist or bun...this allows like 7-14 days between washes and i usually only have to deal with my hair like twice during the week. banding...i mist my hair with water, add an oil...more product if needed...then take stripes of scarf and wrap around the length of my hair in sections. my hair is super dense and thick and its only shoulder length when curly so i find that the pineapple makes my hair a lot of work to style in the morning so banding has been my go between. i hope this helps someone! i love your channel! you taught me to keep my routine simple and consistent...and i have had many positive results because of this. thanks boo!
You are amazing! You basically give me so much courage to carry on even after a major setback I've experienced last year on my hair journey (looked like protein overload but not 100% sure so had lots of shedding :( :( ). I am so happy I have found your channel because you are so authentic and down to earth and make it really simple! Thank you SO much !
Just found your page on IG tonight a few hrs ago and I've been on here watching all your videos since then!! I'M SUBSCRIBED👍 YOU'RE AWESOME!! And so beautiful 😚
Hi, You should do a video on the routine for five years and also what did you do to keep your hair healthy through transitioning. Some suggestions will be like the products, essential oils, supplements maybe and how often you do particular routines etc. etc. I'm sure this will be very informative for most people and myself because i'm transitioning 10 months now but i have had a LOT of breakage and my hair fell off badly. As well maybe you could add in pictures from the entire process and mention the type of hair you have etc etc. Thank You! Hope you take my suggestion
I remember when I was little and the blow-dryer had a diffuser and I did not know what it was or how to use it so i never used it and it since the blow dryer broke it threw it out with the diffuser. Such a waste
I loveeee you hair!! Your hair is at a length where I want mine to be honestly! So I watched a few of your videos, and I'm 100% ready to start my healthy natural hair journey listening to a lot of the things you said in one of your videos it sounds JUST like me ! So hopefully without heat and extra chemicals and keeping my hair moisturized & happy so Ima follow your advice & hopefully it gets my hair longer Bc my hair grows it's just REALLY dry I have really bad dry scalp so hopefully all of this will help it grow out the way I want . Sorry this is really long I just wanted to let you know your videos are a motivation .
New subscriber. Your videos are awesome. Thanks. I've been natural for 9 years now and my hair is longer and healthier than ever. This routine is similar to mine and gives me new things to incorporate. Thanks again.
I absolutely love ur hair. My hair is naturally curly just like urs but I chopped it off due to heat damage over the years. How long did it take to grow urs back out?
you explain things so well! I really like that about your videos. I want to know when do you add oil to the style. I saw the oil on the edges.... Is that all?
Great video I shared with my daughter bcher hair type is like yours. She got Deva cut I didn’t want her to for the reason u mentioned. I can’t wait for her to try the products you recommended. The only question I have is how often do you wash your hair/ how long does this look last?
Did you wash out the deep conditioner after applying heat because I thought most deep conditioners require that before you start with the leave in conditioners etc. Thanks. (I just found your channel and love it.)
All the girls that I saw with deva cuts actually wore their hair straight also (more often than u),and their layers looked great. Wasn't jacked up at all, lol.
I love your video! Would you consider your hair to have 1 pattern? What do you recommend for someone with multiple patterns? I think I've never had success with wash and go's because of this.
Thank you so much! And no my hair is definitely not all one pattern. The more difficult areas I've learned to just take more time with or find ways to manipulate them. Just keep trying, you'll find the perfect routine!
ebony where did you purchase the small bottle of gel from diva curl, I want to try it, but I've only seen large bottles, I want to try it to see if my hair likes it, and your hair is gorgeous and healthy, thanks for sharing.
Wow Mrs. Ebony your hair is ssssoooo Beautiful👍👌😍 I'm in love with the thickness and awesome curly style but what is the name of that product you used in the green bottle after the cantu curl activator? I must know!!😉
I've seen in one of her other videos that she actually washes her deep conditioner out and then does her styling. I wondered too if she did the same here because she used a DIY deep conditioner in her other video.
I just started my hair journey May 6 of this year... after watching this video/many others, I now know I’m using wayyyyy too much deep conditioner because my hair be white like I gave myself a perm...shame on me (money wasted)
+Kadeshia Haskins Lol yea. By the time my scalp gets to the point to where coconut oil isn't helping the itch, it's more than likely time for me to wash my hair anyway so it doesn't cause me that much trouble in between.
I follow your instructions but I can't seem to battle frizz, it gets I. the way of my curls being defined and shinny through. Any suggestions?! thank you
routine starts at 4:17
CeliahProductions long ass intro 😭
Haha, yeah I don’t like when youtubers ramble on and on a bit too much. Overall, great hair care advice 🙂
Thank you!!!!
Toooooo much talking

+mjgarner123 Thanks so much!

Beautiful hair
I love your channel! !!!!
Before you started to style your hair did you wash that stuff out? Or did you go straight in to styling yr hair?
sigh....i would do anything to have her type of hair...beyond jealous..beautiful x
How often do you wash your hair and how often do you go to the salon ?
Did you wash out the deep conditioner after applying heat because I thought most deep conditioners require that before you start with the leave in conditioners etc. Thanks.
(I just found your channel and love it.)
This is my question, I'm curious if she washed it out or not...🤔
Do you normally use safflower oil?...if so how well does it work on your hair and what brand?
What is your hair type and porosity level?
her hail looks like its 3a-3C mix. i have around the same texture as her 3b-4a mix
All the girls that I saw with deva cuts actually wore their hair straight also (more often than u),and their layers looked great. Wasn't jacked up at all, lol.
Your hair is beautiful.
Hey Ebony! I love your hair! X
Hi Ebony, pls what curly product can i use to define my curl as beautiful as yours
Just keep trying, you'll find the perfect routine!
love it
how do you grow your hair that long....I have different length in different part of my head. was your hair thick already? bless you
Hi, are you supposed to apply stylers, creams etc directly to your roots? Also, do you wash out your deep conditioner before you style?
I normally don't apply product directly to my scalp unless it's oil. And yes I do wash out my deep conditioner before styling.
Dream hair 💕💖
Sooo perfect Ebony. Reeaaal Goooaaals!!
Beautiful hair, I'm trying to get my hair to grow.
How does diffusing work out for us long haired 4c girls. Any naturals out there tried it and not had crazy shrinkage?
thank you!!!
So you don't wash out the deep conditioner?
love it!
what do you put on your hair to keep your curls moisturizer because no matter how much moisturizer or oil my hair just sucks it up
Did you wash out the deep conditioner or just let it stay in after drying??
bomb routine!
ebony where did you purchase the small bottle of gel from diva curl, I want to try it, but I've only seen large bottles, I want to try it to see if my hair likes it, and your hair is gorgeous and healthy, thanks for sharing.

Is it just me or I’m the only one with a top part of hair isn’t curling at all and is frizzy
New Subbie here!!! Just came across your channel, looking forward to checking out more of your videos!!!
Welcome! Thank you for the support!
So do you leave in the deep conditioner and then continue with the wash and go? Is the spray bottle your always using just water?
I've seen in one of her other videos that she actually washes her deep conditioner out and then does her styling. I wondered too if she did the same here because she used a DIY deep conditioner in her other video.
TRISTA JONES She rinsed it out
Thanks guys
Ooooooh thats what that attachment on the blow dryer is for i always just thought it was a brush for ppl with longer hair
AllAboutMookie That's a diffuser, some dryers come with them.
Crafty Ayana yep ik that now thx 😊☺️
we missed you :)
I just started my hair journey May 6 of this year... after watching this video/many others, I now know I’m using wayyyyy too much deep conditioner because my hair be white like I gave myself a perm...shame on me (money wasted)
so i noticed you dont put deep conditioner on your scalp is this all the time? what do u put on your scalp?? (to help dryness and lay it down)
+Kadeshia Haskins I usually use coconut oil to keep my scalp moisturized.
+Ebony's Curly TV all the time and thats ??it just coconut oil?? my hair is like ur thick and curly but it stays drier at my root and scalp
+Kadeshia Haskins Lol yea. By the time my scalp gets to the point to where coconut oil isn't helping the itch, it's more than likely time for me to wash my hair anyway so it doesn't cause me that much trouble in between.
+Ebony's Curly TV ugh i wish my hair was like that. its like i always need something on it or its just a frizzy mess
I follow your instructions but I can't seem to battle frizz, it gets I. the way of my curls being defined and shinny through. Any suggestions?! thank you
