I never get tired of listening to David Gariboldi.
This man executes the “business of rhythm” to its masterful extent.
I can’t stop watching a master at work.
The Master at work!🥰
These Yamaha Recording Customs sound excellent. They’re great for recording and live performances
This guys a machine, never gonna get over hearing What is hip? for the first time. What a player.
Effortless, funky syncopation! And this man was hit by a train a few years ago and is back and better than ever!
I was genuinely worried for him, but he recovered like a champ!

American One Productions Rehearsal and Drum Studios in NJ gives two huge thumbs up 👍🏻🥁👍🏻. 💗 Yamaha drums are the only kits you’ll find in our studio.! 💗
So damn smooth!!!
Thank God go David go
The Jam Master it is.
He gets ahead of the beat a little towards the end coming off of those fills but overall what a great feel and groove
remember , he has to pull a whole Train behind him. if you as the drummer drag 5 horns 3 other rhythm section guys , it WILL Suck
DANG Jerry... SOooooooo good. Dr. G's still funky as ever!!!
Esse cara é monstro! Referência mundial
so tasty - no crazy speed or showy woodshedding, not a beat out of place, just right

That's Marc van Wageningen, his brother I believe
with perfect time yet has a bit of loose human syncopation - I love hearing him play

Don’t anyone get me wrong. David is better drummer than I am, but David, you have to get into it man!
Buddy Rich was grand also.
Noticed he hasnt been keeping time with his HH leg. Probably uses too much energy at this stage of the game.
In his recent interview David said about that. He lost correct and stable "connect" in the head between right hand and left foot from the train crash accident. And he unknowed how is repair that. Later he saw concert, there Steve Gadd don't used left foot for constantly play. David did call Steve and question about this. Steve answered him that main rule for many drummers is a "four-way coordination". But that dogma is obstacle to another main rule - is a your comfort. There is no need a hi-hat use all time. It just one more voice. That idea helped David change his today approach and speed up recovery.
OK great thanks for clarifying that for me. As with many things things change and you adjust and still make things work in life.
He actually looks a bit bored!
