I had one of these back in the 80's. I'm an old school break dancer and used it in many street performances, as we busted moves on canvas or cardboard.
Seeing it has made me feel very nostalgic. 😀B-Boys, will always be boys!
Thanks, that is a great restoration.

Thank you very much for your comment, one of my main goals is to bring men back to when they were boys ;)

I am glad that this boombox brings you good emotions. It is for sale, you can see it on eBay. You can write me an e-mail. Maybe we can agree. (You can write in Russian, I understand perfectly)

There are two minor differences between the QT-95 shown in this video and the QT-94 -> Dolby NR and LW band in the tuner (the QT-94 does not have either of these) but everything else is virtually the same (they are pretty decent for a 1985/86 model boombox). I had fun replacing the belts in both tape decks not long ago; that was a real challenge.☺

Yes, it is difficult to change the bels on this model. There was also a problem with the right audio cassette's auto-stop sensor. The mechanics just didn't see that the cassette was inserted. There's an optical system, I've never seen one in Boomboxes. I couldn't find a specification for this part. It was not specified in the manual. The same optical principle is used in the Bang & Olufsen Century glass control mechanism. I used a sensor from this machine as I have it for parts. Everything fit! If anyone has this problem, the sensor model is: SPI 315-04

wow you got a very good price for that radio, i had my QT95 for sale on facebook for £50 and no one wanted it even for that price, i like them but i don't think they worth a great deal of money.
